The practice invites you to connect with your most abundant life and manifest it into existence.

Welcome to today's mindfulness practice with me Mindfully Laura.

Today's practice is all about abundance.

Like everything in this world,

Abundance is simply an energy and it means something different to each of us.

And in this practice,

I'm going to be inviting you to tap into the energy of abundance and also the energy of scarcity.

Scarcity is the opposite of abundance and can also be described as not enoughness.

So find a comfortable seat,

Gently allow the eyes to close or you can lower your gaze if that's more comfortable for you.

Allow yourself to drop into this moment.

Allowing your awareness to drop into any places where your body is in contact with the chair or with the floor.

Allowing your awareness to rest here.

Just noticing any distractions,

Any thoughts.

When you notice you've been distracted,

Just gently bringing your awareness back to those places where your body is in contact with the floor and the earth in some way.

Take a deep inhale in through the nose and out through the nose.

Breathing in through the nose.

Slow exhale out through the nose.

I invite you now to see yourself in your mind's eye,

Walking to a door in the room that you're in that you've never noticed before.

Take in that door.

Look at the door handle and reach out and turn the handle,

Opening the door.

With curiosity and without fear,

Just walk through the door,

Closing it behind you.

You find yourself in a stairwell and again you feel safe here and you see ten steps leading down on the stairwell.

With each step that we're going to take,

You're going to feel more and more relaxed and more and more present in this visualization.

Imagine your foot lifting and stepping down the first step ten.

Then lifting the other foot,

Stepping down to nine.

Keep going,

Step down to step eight.

Dropping down to step seven.

With each step,

Feeling more and more relaxed.

Step six.

Dropping down to step five,

Halfway there.

Step four.

Step three.

Feeling very relaxed now.

Step two.

Last one,

Step down to step one.

Then step off the staircase.

In front of you again you see a door.

In your own time,

Walk through the door and close it behind you.

You found yourself in a movie theater.

Look around and just take in the color of the seats.

It's totally empty apart from you.

The screen is in front of you and a movie is about to start playing.

Find your seat.

An image comes up on the screen and you realize it's an image of you.

You're sleeping in bed and the movie that's going to play is the movie of the last day that you had where you were working,

A normal day.

You're going to watch the movie and notice any moments where you feel an energy of abundance and any moments where you feel the energy of scarcity.

You watch yourself on the screen,

You wake up.

Notice the energy of you waking up.

Tapping into how you felt.

Whether this was aligned with abundance or perhaps scarcity or somewhere in the middle.

Maybe there was another energy present,

Just noticing.

Watching yourself go through your morning routine.

Maybe brushing the teeth,

Having a shower,

Whatever it is for you that makes up an average working day.

Just watching and paying particular attention to the energetics.

Noticing where you feel abundant and where perhaps you feel that there is some energy of scarcity,

Some energy of not enoughness.

Watching yourself have breakfast and again just watching for any energy.

And perhaps so far it's neutral and that's okay too,

We're just observing.

Watch yourself start your day at work,

Wherever that is,

Whatever you're doing.

Watch yourself going through your daily tasks and noticing where you feel abundant.

Notice any moments where you feel there's an energy of scarcity,

Of not enoughness.

Watching if this energy shows up in relationships with others,

With particular tasks,

Activities,

Any common worries or thoughts or wishes that come up during the day.

Watching yourself go through lunch.

Again just noticing,

Is this an abundant time or is it a time where you feel some amount of scarcity?

And then moving through your afternoon,

Perhaps there is time for any life admin that needs to be done.

Perhaps bills to pay,

Perhaps a side hustle,

Perhaps taking care of family and loved ones.

Just noticing as you go through your day where you feel the energy of abundance.

And noticing what that feels like,

If there's a texture to it,

If there's a weight,

A heaviness or a lightness,

If there's a colour.

How do you know the moments where you feel abundant?

And watching yourself all the way through dinner into your evening.

Just a typical evening view.

And just noticing how it feels.

Does it feel like there is enough or is there an element of not enoughness,

Scarcity?

And just watch yourself get ready for bed and climb into bed and just watch as you drift off to sleep.

Not worrying about remembering anything you've witnessed in this mini movie,

Knowing that your subconscious is taking note and will remember everything important.

Keep watching the movie and you watch yourself wake up again for this second day.

And this second day is going to be a different day.

It is a day where you are going to be living your most abundant life.

A life so full of abundance,

It's beyond what you've ever comprehended.

And see yourself wake up and just notice what's different today.

Perhaps the surroundings,

Perhaps what you're wearing,

Perhaps the energy,

The look on your face.

Just noticing how you are behaving in this new abundant world.

Maybe there isn't any difference.

Just noticing.

And watch yourself again go through the normal morning things that we all go through.

And just noticing what it feels like and what you're doing,

What behaviours are there when you're truly in connection with absolute abundance.

And seeing yourself have breakfast.

Noticing if anything's different today.

And then starting to work.

Again,

What are you doing?

This is your abundant world.

What work are you doing that is so aligned with the energy of abundance?

How are you holding yourself in this work?

How are your relationships with others?

Just noticing all the way through lunch.

Again,

Noticing how you feel.

Noticing that texture of abundance.

And seeing if you can really feel it as you watch this movie.

Watching yourself go through any afternoon activities,

Work,

Hobbies,

Life admin.

It all exists in this abundant world.

Perhaps it looks a little different.

Seeing yourself engaging with friends,

Family,

Romantic relationships.

Just noticing what it feels like to be in these relationships with an energy of pure abundance.

And see yourself go all the way through dinner and into the evening.

Really allowing yourself to experience what pure abundance in your life feels like.

And then watching yourself get ready for bed in this abundant world.

Knowing that this is all within reach.

If you can imagine it and you can experience it,

Then it is already on its way to you.

Seeing yourself getting into bed and closing your eyes.

And then the screen goes blank and you're back in the movie theatre.

And it's time to get up.

Make your way back to the door of the theatre.

Opening the door,

Closing it behind you and seeing that staircase in front of you.

The ten steps and with every step you're going to be bringing more awareness into your body and becoming more present in this moment.

Step one,

Climbing up to step two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Starting to feel more present halfway.

Six,

Stepping up to step seven,

Eight,

Nine.

Feeling the energy come back into your body.

Ten.

And then walking to the door and turning the handle and finding yourself back in this room.

Take a seat.

Ending this visualization and coming back to the physical body.

Again we breathe in through the nose.

Three deep breaths.

Breathing in through the nose.

And out through the nose.

Breathing in through the nose.

And out through the nose.

Breathing in through the nose.

And out through the nose.

Allowing your awareness to come back into the places where you're in contact with the chair or with the floor.

Gently wiggling the fingers and the toes.

Gently when you're ready allowing the eyes to open.

And perhaps coming up to journal anything you observed about the two movies you watched.

Seeing if we can do so with the attitude of curiosity and kindness.

Dream boards are fine, but I need to spend time daily contemplating and truly visualizing what’s important to me, seeing it and feeling it.
