Welcome to your guided meditation to release anxiety.

Let's start by finding a comfortable sitting position with your spine straight up as if you had a magical string pulling you up into the sky.

And when you're ready,

Close your eyes.

Taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Exhale slowly through your mouth.

Inhale through your nose and breathe out.

Letting go of any tension in your body as you breathe.

Begin to focus on your breath,

Paying attention to any sensations around your nose when you breathe in,

Feeling the rise and fall of your chest and as your belly expands and contracts.

Scanning your body,

Bringing awareness to any tension,

Any discomfort,

Maybe on your forehead or eyes,

Might feel like a block in your throat,

A squeeze in your chest or even butterflies in your stomach.

And as you breathe in,

Imagine the fresh air traveling to those areas,

Releasing any tension and soothing any discomforts.

And I invite you to face the parts of yourself that might be hidden or compressed and face it with your love and acknowledgement,

Embracing all parts of you in this moment.

Breathing in and as you exhale,

Let it go of any stress or anxiety stored in those places.

And as you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine a warm,

Soothing light surrounding your body.

This light is filled with calm,

Love and relaxation.

And with each breath,

You feel the light entering your body,

Your cells,

Your bones,

Filling you up with peace and serenity.

Now visualize yourself in a beautiful,

Natural setting.

Imagine your bare feet touching the ground and feel Mother Nature.

The sun is kissing your skin and your breath is drinking from the fresh air.

And with each breath,

You become more and more connected,

Connected to your breath,

Connected to your body,

Connected to your heart,

Connected to nature.

Now inhale deeply with a count of 4,

3,

2,

1 and exhale for the count of 4,

3,

2,

1.

In 2,

3,

4,

Out 2,

3,

4.

Repeat this breathing for a few moments.

Allowing your breath to anchor you in this very present moment.

And as you continue to breathe,

Repeat this affirmation silently to yourself,

I am safe.

And feel the truth and vibrations of these words resonating within you.

Imagine any worries or concerns like leaves floating on a gentle stream and watch them as they float away from you,

Carried away by the current,

Leaving you lighter and more at ease.

Taking a moment now to express gratitude for this time you've taken for yourself,

For the inner peace you've cultivated during this time.

Remember that meditation can be a valuable tool in managing stress and anxiety in your daily life.

And make some time to connect with your breath,

Making time for your self-care,

Knowing that you have the power to find peace within self.

And when you're ready,

Slowly bringing the awareness to any heat,

Any cold,

Any sensation on your skin,

Maybe the touch of your clothes,

The seat or the floor that you're sitting on,

Coming back to your natural,

Normal breath.

And when you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes with a sense of calm and relaxation that you can take for the rest of your day.
