G'day everyone,

We've all heard and felt that quote,

Everyone waits for the right time,

When really,

They should have started long ago.

It's simple,

But it always hits.

We often delay action not because we're lazy,

But because we're waiting.

Waiting for clarity,

Confidence,

The perfect mood,

The right plan,

The green light.

But what if that moment never arrives?

What if readiness is not something we wait for,

But something we create?

This practice is about dropping the idea that you need to be more prepared,

More healed,

Or more certain before you begin.

It's about showing up,

Imperfectly,

Honestly,

And right on time.

Because the truth is,

There's nothing magical about tomorrow.

The power is in choosing now,

Choosing presence.

So today,

We're going to explore that mindset through stillness.

We use the breath as an anchor to bring us back to the present,

Again and again.

No pressure to fix or force anything,

Just a quiet return,

A gentle reminder you're allowed to begin exactly where you are.

Let's begin.

Beginning by finding a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

If you're seated,

Let your spine lift gently,

Shoulders soften.

Be lying down,

The body be heavy and fully supported.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through the nose.

And a long,

Deep breath out through the mouth.

Nice,

Let's do that again.

In through the nose.

And then out through the mouth.

One more time,

Inhale.

This time when you exhale,

Let's let something go.

Now allow the breath to settle into its natural rhythm.

If you need to change it,

Just notice.

Moving in.

And moving out.

When you're ready,

I just want you to notice the part of you that still believes that there's a perfect time to begin.

It might be a better version of you,

Could be a clearer day,

A little more courage.

Just observe that voice with no judgement.

Now ask gently,

What if now is the perfect time?

What if everything I need is already here?

What if the feeling of readiness is something I create by beginning?

Let that question land in your body.

Breathe it in.

And breathe it out.

There's no rush here.

Only presence.

Observing.

Now shifting that awareness to the top of your head.

And starting to make your way down from the top of the head to the tips of your toes.

Noticing any places that might hold any tension.

Not feeling the need to change them at all,

But just simply observing.

Noticing.

The jaw.

The neck.

Your shoulders.

Upper arms.

Elbows.

Tops of your hands.

Palms of your hands.

Tips of your fingers.

Your chest.

Waist.

Stomach.

Hips.

Thighs.

Knees.

Your calves and your shins.

Ankles.

Tops of your feet.

Soles of your feet.

Way to the tips of your toes.

Each exhale just really melting further,

Further into the ground.

Feeling that ground beneath you.

You're supported and held by that ground.

Now just bring to mind something you've been wanting to start.

Maybe it's small.

Maybe it's huge.

Now just picturing taking just one step forward towards that goal.

Not the whole journey,

Just the first move.

What does that look like to you?

Feel what happens with your body as you visualize that first step.

Not from pressure,

But just simply from curiosity.

Possibility.

Letting go of the outcome.

Letting go of the timeline.

Focus only on the shift from stillness into motion.

And that shift,

That's where everything changes.

Bring that awareness back now,

Back to that breath.

The gentle rise and the fall,

Wherever that might be.

When you're ready,

Just quietly thinking or saying to yourself,

I don't need the perfect moment.

I just need this one.

Let it echo.

Let it settle.

Let's take a final breath in together,

In through the nose.

Open the mouth,

Let it go.

Wiggling your fingers,

Your toes.

Gently opening your eyes if they were closed.

As you return to your day,

Asking yourself,

What can I start right now?

Thank you for flying with me.

I'll see you again next week.
