This guided visualisation is designed to help you connect and find your authentic self. When all of the words pressures, fears and self limiting beliefs are stripped away from you, who are you? what does the Authentic version of you look like?

Hello and welcome to this guided visualization.
My name is Cully and this visualization is designed for you to explore your values and help you connect with your authentic self.
You may use this visualization to connect with your true self and also in moments of confusion.
Now allow yourself to get in a nice comfortable position.
Slowly and gently close your eyes and lower your gaze.
Allow a feeling of relaxation to start on the top of your head and allow this feeling of relaxation to slowly and gently make its way down your forehead.
Notice your eyebrows becoming less tense.
Notice your eyelids becoming lighter.
Notice where your tongue is if it's on the roof of your mouth.
Let it drop down to the bottom of your mouth.
Unclench your jaw.
And just allow this feeling of relaxation to slowly and gently make its way down your face.
Roll your neck left to right and then right to left,
Allowing your neck muscles to relax.
Roll your shoulders front to back and back to front.
And allow a feeling of relaxation to continue down the rest of your body.
Now as this feeling of relaxation makes its way slowly and gently down your body,
Turn your attention to your breath.
Notice your normal breathing pattern.
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to breathe in.
And I would like you to breathe in through your nose.
And we're going to release that breath through your mouth.
As we breathe in,
I want you to imagine that you're breathing in relaxation.
And as you breathe out,
I want you to imagine that you're breathing out any tension.
So nice deep breath in through the nose,
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
One last time.
Nice deep breath in,
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
Now allow your breathing to drop to its normal rhythm and its normal breathing pattern.
And focus all of your attention on your normal breathing pattern.
And just continue to breathe in relaxation and slowly and gently breathe out any tension.
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
Breathe in relaxation,
And release any tension.
Just focus your energy on breathing in relaxation and releasing any tension.
Just continue this for a moment.
If you get distracted,
That's okay.
Just bring your attention back to your breathing.
Just feel your body becoming more and more relaxed.
It's going into a deeper state of relaxation.
With every breath in,
You're becoming more and more relaxed.
Just continue breathing in relaxation.
Now turn your attention inwards as we begin to find your authentic self.
Start by reflecting upon your values.
What is the most important thing to you in your life?
What do you value?
Where does your sense of right and wrong come from?
Spend the next few moments thinking about your core values.
The values that come to your mind,
They make up the core of who you are.
When you are living a life true to your core values,
These core values will drive your behaviour.
When things are not going the way you want them to go,
Or you feel out of alignment,
Or you feel a sense of unfulfillment,
It could be quite possible that you are not living a life true to your core values.
It will always feel good to behave in ways that are consistent with your core values.
For example,
If honesty is something you value,
This would be reflected in your life by being truthful,
And wanting others around you to also be truthful.
If you value your family,
Then your life may reflect this in the time you spend with family members.
Think about your core values.
Now consider what else makes you who you are.
Finding your authentic self involves learning who you truly are.
Your authentic self is the real you,
The person you are truly meant to be,
When all of the pressures of society and culture are stripped away.
Your authentic self is the person you are at the core,
The person you can be if nothing holds you back.
Visualise the person you believe yourself to be right now.
It's okay if you aren't quite sure who you are.
Just picture yourself going about the things you would usually do in a typical day.
Imagine that you are watching yourself,
Observing yourself,
Just going about your usual activities.
Now picture this person,
Picture yourself standing in an empty room.
Imagine watching this person,
Observing this person,
Standing all alone in an empty room.
Imagine you could strip away all the things that hold you back from your full potential.
Imagine all self-doubt dissolving,
It's being replaced with confidence and self-assurance.
Visualise this person before you and imagine all of the things that could get in the way of your success,
Such as circumstances,
Lack of resources,
Lack of forgiveness,
Illness,
Any baggage from the past.
Imagine anything and everything that is holding this person back in any way,
Shape or form.
And now see these problems,
These issues,
These circumstances dissolving,
Disappearing.
Visualise these problems,
These issues,
These excuses,
Leaving your body.
Visualise them as they leave your body.
Let them all go,
Encourage every single one of them to leave your body,
To leave your subconscious mind.
Just visualise them leaving.
Now visualise this person standing in an empty room.
What is left of this person when all the layers and all the barriers and all the excuses are stripped away?
Who is this person?
When there is nothing holding this person back,
When all of the limiting beliefs have been stripped away,
When all of the excuses have been stripped away,
Who is this person?
This person is you.
This person is you at your core.
This person is your authentic self,
The pure authentic self.
When nothing is left to get in the way of complete self-expression,
This person is you.
You may only have a vague picture in your mind and that's okay.
Allow that picture to come into focus.
Begin to add the details.
Allow the picture to become clearer.
Think of your motivations.
What motivates you?
What drives you?
Think about what catches your interest.
What energises you?
What propels you into action?
Now think about your personality and your character traits.
When all of the barriers are removed and all of the layers are removed.
What characteristics are left when all of the fears have gone away?
When you're operating from your highest vibration and living life from your highest potential,
What traits do you have?
What values do you have?
Start to think about your characteristics.
Think about your energy.
Are you high energy?
Are you laid back?
Are you calm?
Are you introverted or extroverted?
Maybe you're a combination of the two.
In what ways are you creative?
In what ways are you practical?
What do you appreciate in life?
What do you admire?
Imagine something that makes you smile.
What comes to mind immediately?
Visualise some of the things you enjoy.
Things that you like to do.
Think about all the characteristics of the person who is left when all of the barriers and all of the fears are completely removed.
Just take a few moments to really try to visualise your authentic self and all the characteristics when all of the fears and excuses are stripped away.
Now create a different picture in your mind.
Visualise in as much detail as you can the person you want to be.
Imagine the highest version of yourself.
Your most authentic self.
How does this person behave?
What does this person,
Your authentic self,
Value most in life?
What motivates your authentic self?
What brings peace into your life?
What brings happiness and joy into the life of your authentic self?
What characteristics does your authentic self have?
Visualise all of the details of the person you most want to be,
Of the version you want to create.
The image in your mind right now of the highest version of yourself.
This person is you.
This is your authentic self.
This is who you truly are at the core of your existence.
Beneath all the layers that life has put on top of you.
The version you see in your mind now is you at your most authentic self.
Now just spend a few moments with your authentic self.
Now allow yourself to step inside this image and fully become this person.
Become who you are.
Step inside the most authentic version of yourself.
And simply become your authentic self.
Feel a sense of calm and serenity.
Feeling secure,
Knowing exactly who you are.
For this is you,
Your most authentic self.
You may take this authentic self with you,
Allowing this true essence of you to shine through in everyday life.
Allow your values,
Your characteristics,
Your hopes and dreams and your motivations to shine through.
Allow your values to guide your behaviour.
Allow this fearless version of you,
This person who is not held back by any limiting beliefs.
Allow this person to guide your actions.
And just know,
You have always been this person.
You will always be your authentic self,
A positive,
Confident person.
A person you love and appreciate.
Underneath all the challenges,
The baggage and the demands of life.
This is the real you.
And this real you will always be inside of you,
Ready to come out.
Now just continue to spend some time with your authentic self.
This is the real you.
Now as it's time to leave your authentic self,
Keep the image of your authentic self with you as you go about the rest of your day.
And know that this authentic version of you is ready and waiting for it to come out and express itself to the world.
Slowly take your attention back to your breathing.
As we begin to bring our consciousness and our awareness slowly and gently back to the outer reality.
Just focus on your breathing.
Focus on your in-breath and your out-breath.
Just focus on your normal breathing pattern as we slowly and gently return back to the outer reality.
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to breathe in through your nose and then release that breath through your mouth.
Breathe in through the nose and release.
Breathe in through the nose and release.
Breathe in through the nose and release.
And one last time,
Nice deep breath in and release.
And when you're ready,
In your own time,
Slowly and gently bring your awareness back to the outer reality.
And when you're ready,
You may slowly and gently begin to open your eyes.
You may want to sit with yourself and reflect on this visualization.
You may want to journal on your experience.
Or you may just want to continue with your day.
It's entirely up to you.
