This visualization meditation will guide you to meet diffferent versions of yourself. Just like nature, we enter different seasons within our lives. It is hard to accept some of these seasons. This meditation will give you space to accept and honor the past, current, and future versions of ourselves. Each season is truly worth celebrating.

Hi there and welcome.

Today I am bringing you a meditation that will focus on accepting all of the parts of us.

I recently had this incredible conversation with a friend about just the different seasons of our lives.

And this was a huge realization for me,

Just accepting that each day will never be the same,

Minutes and minute is not the same,

And we're going to continue to change.

And the seasons in between,

The seasons before us,

The seasons in front of us are all really worth celebrating.

Those past versions of ourselves,

They deserve a heck of a lot of credit because they got us to where we're going and are going to get us to wherever we're going in the future.

So during today's meditation,

We really are going to focus on honoring who we were along the way and also honoring who we are today based on each teeny tiny or big decision that we've made so far.

So we'll check in with your body,

We'll check in with the breath,

And then I'm going to guide you through a short visualization meditation.

So go ahead and get comfy,

Get cozy.

Sometimes folks like to lie down for visualization meditations,

Or maybe you just want to sit in a real comfy chair,

Whatever works best for you and your body today.

And when you're ready,

Go ahead and close down your eyes.

We're going to tune into the body here,

Just noticing.

Noticing what parts of your body are touching the floor or the earth.

And if you can,

Just do a slow body scan,

See if there's any areas that you're holding,

Gripping,

And just try to soften those areas.

Sometimes I like to do a couple of shoulder rolls,

Even rolling out the wrists feels good.

And just settle into your space,

Begin to notice your breath,

Being as gentle as possible with your breath and as gentle as possible with yourself today.

Breathing in and out of your nose and just noticing what this feels like.

You are breathing and you showed up today and that is more than enough.

I'd like you to imagine walking through a beautiful forest.

You are surrounded by this canopy of trees that almost feels like it's holding you as you're walking.

You're walking slowly,

No agenda,

Nothing on the to-do list,

And you're just exploring this area.

You can smell the pine,

You can even smell the sweetness of the sap on the trees.

On this path,

There's going to be three bridges that you will cross over and these bridges are sturdy and safe.

You continue walking and you come to your first bridge.

Slowly knowing that this bridge is safe and sturdy,

You decide to cross.

At the end of this bridge,

You see a younger version of yourself.

This person meets you,

Hugs you,

And thanks you for taking such good care of her.

Just enjoying this collective energy that the two of you have.

You sit at the end of the bridge and just enjoy.

With outwards,

You both feel like it's time to part ways and you continue to walk.

The sun is setting just a little bit more than it was when you started.

Canopy of trees are still protecting you.

And in the distance,

You can see your second bridge.

Again,

Intuitively,

You know that this bridge is safe and sturdy so you cross.

And at the end of this bridge,

You notice a version of you from just a few years ago.

Again,

This version meets you,

Hugs you,

And thanks you.

Thanks you for your love,

For your support,

And they share how brave you are and how brave you were for moving forward.

You decide to sit with this version of you for just a few moments,

Enjoying the energy,

Enjoying the silence,

Enjoying the space.

You decide to part ways,

Walking just a little bit longer,

Enjoying this day with no agenda,

No plans.

The sun is just on your chest now as you're walking and you can feel that warmth.

You see your last and final bridge ahead and you decide to cross.

At the end of this bridge,

There is an older version of you.

Can you see this version?

What does this version of you look like?

And what stands out most to you about this version of you?

You begin to see and feel how powerful this version of you is.

And as this older version of you stands before you,

They also thank you.

This version of you expresses how proud they are for not only showing up,

But they recognize that while you might be shedding some layers of yourself along the way,

You are truly starting to love every single version before you and what is to come.

You give one final hug to that version of you and you decide to continue walking.

In the distance,

You can see a tree stump perfect for you,

Perfect to sit in that last bit of sun and feel the warmth of your past and your present.

You can release this visualization and come back to your breath and body,

Continuing with those nice gentle breaths that we started with.

And with eyes closed,

I'm going to finish with a few words from Pavana Reddy.

And I invite you to place one or both hands on your heart if that's comfortable.

Today,

I am waking all the women I once was.

I am washing the dirt from their hair.

I am kissing the flowers from their eyes.

Today,

I am greeting myself with forgiveness and letting them go at the same time.

Release your hands and let's take one collective breath together into the nose and out through the mouth.

This is your practice in your time,

So in your own time,

You can bring some gentle movement back to your body,

Wiggling fingers and toes.

And when you feel ready,

You can open your eyes.
