Welcome,
My name is Kristi and I'm so glad to be with you and guide you through this practice.
This specific yoga nidra practice has been designed to support you in working with the sixth chakra,
Or ajna chakra,
And also be referred to as the third eye center.
The third eye chakra is our chakra connected to our center of seeing,
Intuition,
Imagination,
Dreaming and vision.
It is connected with the element of light.
Light is how we see and perceive.
This practice can help you find a deeper state of rest and rejuvenation,
While also creating space to connect with a deeper state of consciousness,
Cultivating a connection to your intuition,
Inner knowing and your mind's eye center or third eye.
You might imagine this as a clearing or cleansing of the ajna chakra,
Bringing you to this unique yoga nidra state,
Which is an embodiment state of deep rest,
As if the body is sleeping but the mind is awake and aware.
So I encourage you to lie down for this practice so that you can feel as spacious and supported in your body as possible.
The most important thing is that you feel extremely comfortable and at ease.
Begin with closing down the physical eyes,
Closing out all distractions,
Letting go of all the things commanding your attention outward and moving towards this inward journey to your inner command center,
The mind's eye center.
Using any props,
Pillows,
Blankets,
Covering the eyes,
Anything you need to feel nourished and supported.
With the physical eyes closed,
Seeing clearly with the inner eye,
The celestial eye also connected to the physical pineal gland,
Like an illuminated shrine in the center of the head,
Focusing your awareness on the mind's eye center.
Imagine drawing the inhale breath through the center of the forehead,
Down to the heart,
And then exhaling out through the heart center,
Up to the mind's eye center,
And exhaling out through the third eye.
Slow relaxing breaths,
Creating a felt sense of relaxing in the mind,
Relaxing in the heart,
The slow steady breath,
Clearing this channel with prana,
Experiencing space for coherence,
And just landing your awareness now on the mind's eye center,
Holding your awareness here and allowing a sankalpa to arise,
A vow to your truth to align with,
And planting it into the mind's eye center,
You may be working with a sankalpa,
Or allow spaciousness for one to arise,
Or you might like to welcome in the sankalpa,
Repeating,
I trust my own inner divine sight and intuition.
Now we'll move through a full body scan,
As we bring awareness to each point in the body,
Imagine the vibration of the mantra OM,
Like the resonance of a crystal bowl once rung,
Feel the lingering vibration of OM at each sacred point name,
With the quiet spaciousness of your inner landscape,
Allow the universal sound of OM to ripple through your entire being,
A subtle hum that unites,
Uplifts,
And awakens energy throughout,
Now allow your awareness of the vibration to resonate at the point between the eyebrows,
The third eye center,
Sensing any sensations arising from the third eye center,
Bring awareness at the center of the throat,
The right shoulder joint,
The right elbow,
The middle of the right wrist,
The tip of the right thumb,
Tip of the index finger,
Tip of the middle finger,
Tip of the ring finger,
Tip of the small finger,
The right wrist,
The right elbow,

Right shoulder joint,

Awareness resonates at the center between the eyebrows,
The third eye center.
Allow your awareness to move to your whole body.
Your whole body at once.
Your whole body is still.
But awareness of the subtle inner flow of pulsing vibration throughout.
Allow yourself to effortlessly breathe here.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of the breath.
Feel the sensation of breath moving in through the right nostril.
Breathing in and out of just the right nostril.
Holding awareness of the breath moving in and out of the right nostril.
Now feel the sensation of the breath moving in and out of the left nostril.
Breathing in and out of the left nostril.
Hold your awareness of the breath moving in and out of the left nostril.
Breathing in and out of the left nostril.
Now hold your awareness of breath moving in the left nostril and now out through the right nostril.
Hold your awareness of breath moving in through the right and now out through the left.
Moving from side to side.
Effortlessly breathing side to side.
Now release that and feel the sensation of the air moving through both nostrils.
Experience the sensation of the breath moving through both nostrils simultaneously.
Experiencing the union of the right and the left hemispheres of the brain.
Yin and yang.
Sun and moon.
Light and dark.
Night and day.
Shiva.
Shakti.
Imagine the breath moving in and out of the minds I center.
Lighting the way to higher wisdom.
Deeper insight.
Like a glowing path of light to psychic perception.
The breath gently moves in and out of the mind's eye center.
Continue to breathe here through the mind's eye center.
Opening this channel of awareness.
Imagine an indigo colored light moving with the breath.
Settling deeper and deeper into the darkness behind closed eyes.
A deep dark indigo vision like the moonless sky in the mind's eye center.
Begin to feel porous.
Filling with fractals of light.
Light beginning to shine in.
Seeing clearly like a sun rising in the center of the mind.
Seeing the truth of all that is.
Beyond the physical eyes.
Seeing clearly with the cosmic eye.
Resting here on this still point at the mind's eye center.
As you voyage deeper and deeper inward.
Let these images wash through the mind's eye center.
Letting them arise and letting them go.
Morning light meeting the night sky.
A slowly spinning golden mandala.
The center point of a blooming rose.
A soaring hawk in the sky.
A bed of deep purple lilies.
The rising sun.
Shakti rising.
Lord Shiva.
Shakti meeting Shiva.
Shakti meeting Shiva.
Shakti meeting Shiva here in the mind's eye center.
In divine union.
Resting deeply here in pure spaciousness.
The spaciousness with all separation dissolved.
All dualities collapsed.
Resting deeply in this union into higher consciousness.
Bring your awareness back to the space of the mind's eye center.
The center of inner vision.
Gently rest your attention here.
Exploring the light of inner knowing.
The insight that reaches far beyond what the physical eyes can see.
In this clear open space.
The deepest part of the mind.
Return to your sankalpa.
Your heartfelt intention.
Let it echo here.
Supported by clarity and stillness.
Affirming silently or aloud your sankalpa.
Your welcoming in.
I trust my own inner divine sight and intuition.
Begin to notice your breath once again.
The gentle rise and fall of your inner rhythm.
Feel your body resting.
Supported by the earth beneath you.
Feel the subtle pulse of the collective consciousness.
We are never truly alone.
Staying here to continue to rest.
We are gradually beginning to return.
Just becoming aware of your physical form.
And yet remembering,
Though this vessel may seem separate,
We are all energetically entangled with the entire universe.
Let that truth ground you in connection and presence.
And as we close,
I wanted to offer you a heartfelt quote by Glennon Doyle,
I have learned that if I want to rise,
I have to sink first.
I have to search for and depend upon the voice of inner wisdom instead of the voices of outer approval.
So continue to learn to nurture and trust your intuition.
Let it be your compass.
The command center that is creating your reality.
You might take a moment to gently reflect on these two questions.
What feels like a yes in my life right now?
What feels like a no in my life right now?
And just trusting the insight,
The wisdom that arises.
Again,
It's a true honor to guide you in this practice.
And I deeply value these connections.
They feel like a yes in my life.
So thank you so much for practicing with me.
If you'd like to connect deeper,
Please let me know what feels like a yes in your life.
What feels like a no?
And I look forward to practicing with you again soon.
Namaste.

That was amazing…thank you for the questions…am doing recovery work right now…doing whatever is necessary to get sober is a yes, and saying no or removing all the people and things that threaten that is what my intuition guided me to today…thank you!

Thank you, Kristi🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻I LOVE this nidra, the expansiveness it took me to, the gentleness of your guidance. An absolute YES to the return of the land of my birth, a NO to all the doubts that come up around how that will be real-ized🙏🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙏🏻

Moving to a new place that's perfect for me at this time is my YES. Staying stuck (sometimes for others' approval) is my NO. Thank you.
