This short mindfulness practice is designed for moments when overthinking has taken hold. Attention is redirected out of mental loops and back into the body, creating space for clarity and steadiness to return. A simple reset you can use anytime your mind feels stuck or busy.

Transcript

Take a moment to pause.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a slow breath in and let it go.

Now bring your attention into your body.

Feel your feet.

Notice their contact with the floor or the ground beneath you.

Let your attention rest there.

Feel your hands,

The weight of them,

The simple sensation of being here.

Let the body become the place your attention lands.

Notice your breath moving in the body.

You don't need to control it,

Just feel it move.

As thoughts arise,

And they will,

Don't follow them.

Let them pass and gently return to sensation.

Feet,

Hands,

Breath.

Take one more slow breath in and gently release.

As you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes and return to what comes next from this quieter,

Steadier place.
