Welcome to this guided sleep meditation for a tranquil night's rest.

Find a comfortable position in your bed,

Ensuring that your body is relaxed.

Let go of any tension in your muscles and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Exhaling slowly through your mouth.

Repeat this a few times until you feel a sense of calm wash over you.

As you lay here,

Become aware of the natural rhythm of your breath.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest or the sensation of the air passing through your nostrils.

Allow each breath to bring you into a state of deep relaxation.

Imagine a soft,

Warm light surrounding you,

Creating a cocoon of tranquility.

This light is calming and soothing,

Wrapping around you like a blanket.

With each breath,

This light fills your body,

Releasing any remaining tension.

Now turn your attention to your thoughts.

Acknowledge them without judgement and then let them float away like leaves on a gentle stream.

Your mind is a calm and peaceful river,

Allowing thoughts to come and go without disturbance.

Visualise a serene landscape.

Picture yourself in a beautiful,

Quiet place.

A meadow,

A beach,

A forest or any location that brings you a sense of peace.

The air is filled with tranquility and you can feel the gentle breeze on your skin.

As you continue to breathe,

Notice any areas of tension in your body.

Imagine the soothing light directing its attention to these areas,

Melting away any tightness or discomfort.

Feel the warmth spreading through your muscles,

Leaving you completely relaxed.

Now shift your focus to the sounds around you,

Whether it's the hum of distant nature or the silence of your room.

Let these sounds become part of the peaceful symphony,

Lulling you into a deep,

Restful sleep.

With each breath,

Feel yourself sinking deeper into a state of relaxation.

Your body is heavy and your mind is calm.
