Good morning and welcome to this morning meditation.
So let us begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lay down and doing anything you can to make yourself even 1% more comfortable.
And when you are feeling good in your body,
Closing your eyes and start to become aware of your breath.
Breathing in and out through your nose.
And as you become more aware of your breath,
Allow yourself to really notice the sensation of the air as it moves in and out.
Noticing the warmth of the breath.
Maybe the sound of the breath.
And as you become aware of the breath and the sensation surrounded by your breath,
Seeing if you can deepen the breath.
Feeling your belly expand with every breath.
And as you exhale,
Feeling your belly draw gently in towards the spine.
Just enjoying that sensation of filling the belly up with your breath.
And gently releasing.
Finding your own rhythm in your own time.
And as you start to deepen your breath,
Start off with a full body scan of the body.
Just seeing if there's any parts of the body that are feeling a little bit tight.
And gently giving ourselves permission to relax and to release.
Starting at the top of the head.
Just taking note of any parts of the face,
The jaw that may be tense.
And allowing yourself to relax and release any tension or tightness.
Moving down into the throat and the back of the neck.
Just allowing yourself to release and to relax.
Moving into the shoulders.
Just noticing any places that may be feeling tight.
And allowing yourself to send some breath into these places.
Allowing them to release and to relax.
Continue flowing down the arms,
Into the wrists,
The hands,
The fingers.
Just allowing the whole arm to soften and relax.
And even give your arms a gentle shake just to release any tension.
Moving down the chest and the belly.
Allowing these places to become soft,
Gentle,
Relaxed.
Moving down into those glorious hips.
They do so much and they deserve to feel nice and relaxed.
Nice and loose.
Sending a little extra love into any places that feel tight or tense.
And giving yourself permission to relax.
And slowly moving our awareness down the legs,
The backs and front,
The knees,
The ankles,
The feet,
The toes.
Even giving your toes a little wiggle just to shake off any energy,
Any tenseness.
Let your legs feel nice and soft.
And as your body starts to become fully relaxed,
As your body becomes softer,
Again just bringing your awareness back to the breath.
And allowing yourself to send that breath.
Any places that may feel they need a little extra love right now.
And bringing your awareness down to your heart,
To your heart center.
And as you focus on your heart center,
Visualizing,
Imagining a light within the space.
And just taking note of the color of this light.
There's no right or wrong.
Because this is your internal light.
And it is yours and yours alone.
And as you focus on this light,
Notice how this light starts to grow and expand as you focus in on it.
And with every inhale,
You notice that this light starts to move throughout your body.
Growing and expanding.
Allowing this light to fill your very being.
From your head,
To your fingers,
To your toes.
And as this light grows,
Allow this light to be filled with whatever it is that you need in your life right now.
Whether it's a little extra love,
Confidence,
Joy,
Health and well-being.
Take a moment now.
As this light expands and flows through your body,
Notice how your body starts to fill with this feeling.
And as this light grows,
It starts to move beyond the physical body.
So visualize or imagine this light moving out of the body now.
There's so much light that has moved beyond the body.
Allowing this light to become bigger than you.
Allowing this light to move beyond the physical body.
So that this light surrounds you,
This physical body.
So that you are within a bubble of light.
And as you sit within this bubble of light,
Let this feeling within the light not only fill your body,
But surround you.
So that you are fully encapsulated within this beautiful,
Loving,
Kind,
Healing light.
And as you move throughout your day,
Allowing this light to fill you and surround you.
And if at any moment throughout the day,
You feel that you need to grow this light within you once again.
Come back to this.
Come back to this moment.
And see yourself filled and surrounded by this light.
Allow this light to be with you and this feeling to stay with you throughout this day and every day.
So when you're ready,
You can slowly start to become aware of the breath again.
Moving in and out through the body.
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes.
Maybe stretching your arms above your head.
Moving your body very gently.
And when you're ready,
Opening up your eyes.
May the light always be with you and within you.
