Hi,
It is Corinne Clements and I invite you to close your eyes and find a comfortable position.
Maybe it's seated.
Maybe it's lying down.
Allow yourself to be comfortable now.
Notice if you're trying to be something that you think others expect of you.
Whether you should be sitting tall with your back straight.
And if that's the case,
How does your body want to be right now?
Even if that means curling up into a ball,
Lying on the floor.
There is no one right way to meditate.
You do not need to be a monk in a cave.
You are already enough as you are right now.
Simply being here,
Taking this time for you,
Pressing play,
Listening.
You are already enough.
Just noticing the ways within.
You try to be who other people expect you to be.
Playing a role.
Doing what you should.
You can let all of that go now,
Because you are already enough.
There is nothing you need to do right now.
No list to check off.
You don't have to make something better or keep busy.
You,
Your breath,
Your awareness of yourself and your breath is already enough.
You have all you need in this moment.
Knowing that without your breath,
You wouldn't be here for very long.
And yet,
You don't worry where the next breath will come from.
In general,
You don't try to breathe better.
It's just there.
How can you be fully there for yourself now?
Knowing you are already enough.
You have what you need.
There is no one you need to impress.
How does that feel?
Is there a release,
A relief,
A sigh,
A letting go,
Tears?
Maybe it's a sense of lightness lifting up.
As you settle into that knowledge,
That knowing,
You are enough.
Notice how you are already whole.
You don't have to fill anything with stuff or people or activity.
You have all you need.
You are enough now.
You don't have to wait till tomorrow,
Right now.
You are enough.
Does knowing that make you smile?
What would you do from this place of knowing?
Would you create something?
Would you say something to someone?
How will your life be different from this place of knowing you are already enough?
The wholeness within me,
The divine within me,
Who sees and honours,
The wholeness,
The enoughness,
The divine within you.
Namaste.
