Hello and welcome to your meditation today.
This meditation is designed to allow the fog to lift and for you to see things a little more clearly,
A little bit more bright.
Please begin in an easy seat or lying down.
Take a deep breath in.
Filling your whole body with breath.
Take a deep exhale.
As you breathe in and out,
Begin feeling your whole body releasing.
Feel your toes release,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your ribs.
Feel your heart center begin to soften.
Feel your shoulders relaxing down your back body.
Allowing your arms to be heavy and your fingers to release.
Feel your tongue fall into your lower palate.
Allow your eyes to close or be softened.
Drawing your attention inwards.
Maybe your gaze even focuses on your third eye.
Breathing out.
Breathing in.
You'll be exhaling with a sigh the next time.
Allowing your whole body to release.
And just listening to the sound of my voice.
Your mind wanders,
Come back to the sound of my voice.
Allowing your mind to just be here.
Be in the now.
Listening to the sound of my voice.
On this journey,
I want you to focus on allowing the fog to lift.
So slowly in your mind's eye,
Draw your attention to a really foggy day.
Maybe you're on a cliffside and you're looking out into the distance.
Knowing beyond the fog,
There's a beautiful scenery.
But right now,
You're surrounded by fog.
You feel the moistness of the air on your body.
Maybe there's a coolness.
Just noticing the fog of surrounding all around you.
If you begin to feel a sense of anxiety,
Know you are safe.
Know you're in a surrounding.
Know you're not alone.
Anxiety,
Know you are safe.
Know you're in a surroundings that you know,
But at this moment,
You cannot see clearly.
Begin to feel the moisture in the air,
The temperature in the air.
And then begin to listen to the sounds all around you.
Maybe you can hear some animals off into the distance.
Maybe there's birds singing or squawking out above.
Just listening to the sounds all around you.
What can you hear?
What can you feel?
And as you begin to really take in your surroundings,
Notice that fog beginning to slowly lift.
Slowly begin to allow you to see a little clearer.
See off into the distance.
What do you see?
See off into the distance.
What do you see?
Is there water below and out and above?
Is there mountains?
What season do you see?
Is it fall?
Do you see the bright colors of all the trees?
Is it winter?
Does everything have that calmness,
That stillness that comes when everything's covered with snow?
Maybe it's springtime and everything's vibrant and alive.
Maybe there's a hawk flying above.
You see blue jays and cardinals covering the trees all around you.
Maybe it's summertime and everything's a little stiller because it's a little warmer.
It's still so vibrant.
It's still so vibrant.
When that fog lifts a little bit more,
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Can you draw calmness and ease?
Can you look beside you and see who's with you?
Experience this gloriness as the fog lifts away and allowing you just to be exactly where you need to be.
Exactly for who you are.
Seeing this wondrous,
Glorious view as the fog completely begins to fully lift away.
Looking into the sky.
Looking all around you.
All around you and for this moment having complete clarity.
Complete clarity in this moment.
Who you are.
Where you need to be.
Maybe who you need to be with.
And how you need to continue on your journey.
In this glorious life we have.
Seeing everything around you as vibrant and as glorious.
Filling your whole body with that joy.
With that life.
Maybe even feeling the sun entering your whole body.
Filling you with all that energy.
To allow you to live the life you were meant to live.
And the fog lifts.
Feel your feet beneath you.
Feel your breath moving in and out of your body.
And begin feeling your body back in the room that you're in.
Maybe the tailbones pressing into the floor or back supported by your floor.
Feeling that sensation first.
Feeling the air in the room that you're in.
And allowing yourself a few minutes of stillness.
A few minutes of just being.
Slowly bring your mind back to your breath.
Filling your belly,
Your ribs.
Exhaling out long.
And if you haven't already,
Begin wiggling your toes,
Your fingers.
Nodding your head no.
Nodding your head yes.
Taking those slow gentle movements.
Allowing your body to reawaken.
And slowly blinking open your eyes.
Taking a full breath in.
Full exhale.
Maybe with a sigh.
I thank you for allowing your fog to lift.
And going on this journey within with me.
With me.
I hope you go in peace and ease.
This concludes your meditation for today.
I hope we meet again in the future.
