Hello and welcome.
This is Clea and during this recording I will be guiding you into a somatic meditation.
This is a great meditation when it comes to centering yourself in the present moment as well as connecting with your feelings in this moment.
When you feel ready,
Sit in a comfortable position and gently close your beautiful eyes.
Take a deep breath through your nose,
To your chest,
To your belly and notice how your body is relaxing with each breath.
Notice the feelings in your body.
What are you feeling?
Without putting a name on it,
Just notice the sensations.
Where are you feeling it?
In which part of your body are you feeling it?
Which are the muscles involved?
In which part of your body?
If this feeling was a texture,
How would it be?
If this feeling was a color,
What color would it be?
Just sit with this feeling and explore it,
Trying to understand it more,
Trying to get to know it better.
Instead of pushing it away,
Just let it be.
Say to yourself,
I choose to feel this.
Sometimes our minds try to keep us safe by avoiding what is real.
What is perceived as dangerous.
But sometimes this danger is a feeling that we need to feel in order for us to release it.
So,
Say to yourself,
I am choosing to feel this.
I choose to feel this.
And notice how your body reacts.
Notice the difference that it makes in your feelings.
Or you may not notice any difference at all,
Which is okay.
Notice how your body is reacting as you are choosing to feel this feeling.
Notice what is changing.
Is there any muscle tension?
Is there a feeling of resistance?
Resistance may show up in different ways.
It may even be a feeling of unease.
A feeling of uncomfort.
Pay attention to your body and observe.
Ask this feeling,
What are you trying to teach me?
What are the lessons?
What are the lessons that you are missing?
Pay attention to your body as you explore the ideas.
Listen to your inner voice.
Many of the answers that you need are within you.
You just need the courage to accept them and to feel your feelings,
To receive them.
And if no message is coming to your mind right now,
Let it be.
Let yourself be open to receive the message when you least expect it.
Bless yourself.
Bless your future self.
And bless your past self.
Bless your future self with all the lessons that are yet to come and be open to receive them.
And so it is.
You can choose to stay into this state of being.
Or you can choose to open up your eyes.
