This guided meditation is here to help you navigate your grieving process.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or laying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Take a moment to bring awareness to your breath.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest as you inhale and exhale.

Notice the rise and fall of your abdomen with each inhale and exhale.

Allow your breath to be slow and steady in the present moment.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Acknowledge any emotions that may arise within you.

Grief is a natural response to loss,

And it's okay to feel whatever you're feeling right now.

Allow yourself to sit with these emotions without judgment or resistance.

Let's explore the stages of grief.

The first stage is denial.

Allow yourself to acknowledge any denial you may be feeling about the loss.

It's common to want to reject the reality of the situation,

But know that acceptance will come with time.

The second stage is anger.

If you're feeling anger towards yourself,

Others,

Or even the universe,

Allow yourself to fully experience it.

Anger is a natural part of the grieving process,

And it's important to express it in healthy ways.

The third stage is bargaining.

You may find yourself bargaining with a higher power or with yourself,

Wishing things could have been different.

Allow yourself to express these wishes and desires,

Knowing that they are a normal part of the healing process.

The fourth stage is depression.

Grief often brings feelings of sadness,

Despair,

And emptiness.

Allow yourself to feel these emotions fully,

Knowing that it's okay to grieve deeply for the loss of someone or something dear to you.

The fifth and final stage is acceptance.

This is the stage where you come to terms with the reality of the loss and begin to find peace and healing as you continue to breathe deeply.

Bring to mind memories of the person,

Pet,

Or thing you've lost.

Remember the love and moments shared.

And allow yourself to feel gratitude for the time you had together.

Now visualize a warm,

Loving light around you,

Surrounding you.

This light represents the love and connection you shared with the person,

Pet,

Or thing you've lost.

Allow this light to fill you with a sense of warmth and comfort,

Knowing that love transcends physical boundaries and can never truly be lost.

With each breath,

Feel this light expanding within you,

Filling every corner of your being with love and healing energy.

Know that the love you shared will always be a part of you.

Guiding you through the darkest of times and lighting your way towards acceptance and peace.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Repeat the following affirmations silently to yourself.

I honor my grief and allow myself to feel it fully.

I embrace the memories and love shared.

I trust that healing and acceptance will come in time.

I am surrounded by love and support,

Both within and around me.

Take a moment to sit with these affirmations,

Allowing them to sink into your subconscious mind and guide you towards acceptance and healing.

When you are ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the room,

Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.

Know that it's okay to grieve,

That you are not alone in your journey.

May you find comfort and peace in the love and memories shared.

And may you continue to honor the legacy of the person or thing you've lost in your life.

Thank you for joining me in this guided meditation.

May you find solace and healing in the days ahead.

Namaste
