Good morning friends,

Good day,

Good evening,

Good night,

Depending where you are.

I just wanted to come on here and offer a short guided meditation that's going to help check in with ourselves,

Check in with our body and help us create some space for mindfulness,

For silence,

For peace,

For remembrance and also for creativity.

So often when we are going about our day to day and getting mixed up in the chaos of the world,

It's so easy when we have a minute,

When we do have a chance to slow down,

That our bodies feel heavy,

That we don't feel inspired,

That we don't feel creative and we certainly don't feel silent even though we've got this moment to slow down.

It's so easy for us to,

Our mind to keep going,

Keep going,

Keep going and it takes some time for us to slow down.

So I just wanted to offer this short guided meditation as a check in so we can create that internal space and really help our minds slow down so then that inspiration and that creativity can come back and that peace.

So if you'd like to follow on,

Please feel free.

If you'd like to save it for later,

Please feel free.

This is going to be just a short little check in with ourselves.

So if you do have time now,

Just get comfortable,

Take a seat,

Take a moment,

Listen to my voice,

Rest.

Allowing any tension in our body to be felt,

To be observed,

To be released.

Most of the time we get tension in our lower back,

In our shoulders,

In our forehead,

In our jaw,

In our hands.

So just take a moment to observe any tension that you may be feeling in the body and create awareness around that tension and just allow it to be there.

Feel the sensation.

The mind might try to label the tension that you're feeling and as the mind starts to label and starts to tell you the reasons why that tension may be there,

Observe the mind as well,

As well as the attention,

Observe the mind and let it do its talking.

You'll notice as you observe the mind and any tension that you're feeling,

When we can create the space between our true essence and the mind and our true essence and any tension that we may be feeling.

When you create space for observation and it doesn't swallow us up as much as it would do when there's no space between our true essence and our mind.

And if you feel really overwhelmed then just focus on the sensations of your breath as you inhale and as you exhale.

The breath is a beautiful bridge between the mind and the true spirit of who we are.

Now we're not here to achieve anything or be anything or necessarily do anything.

We're just here to be,

To observe.

And naturally when we are just being and the mind silence,

There's this silence that is always and forever present but sometimes the world gets so loud that we fall astray from the silence that we are.

How often do you check in with yourself?

How often do you give yourself time to create the space between your mind and the true essence of who you are?

How often do you give yourself the opportunity to slow down from the chaotic world?

Allow yourself to be here.

Remember to observe any tension that you may be feeling in your forehead or your jaw or your teeth,

Your lower back,

Your shoulders or your hands.

You may feel some resistance in your body.

Observe that resistance and go deeper and deeper and slowly start to release it.

Letting go.

Naturally when we become more present,

Letting go just happens because the truth of who we are doesn't have to hold on to anything.

It just simply has to be.

Feel free to continue in this meditation or feel free to open your eyes and enjoy this peace and silence that's always surrounding you and carry this with you throughout your day.

Happy beautiful day friends.
