In order to calm our minds, we can use all sorts of objects to rest our attention on – the breath, an image, a candle flame, the sensations, a mantra or sound. In this 15-minute sound meditation, I guide you on how to relax and bring your attention to the sound, and when your mind wanders remind you to bring it back. Let me know how it goes.

Find a comfortable position.

Whether it be sitting or lying down.

Give yourself the time to relax your body and your mind.

Breathe deeply into your belly.

And let all tension go.

Notice how you feel.

Physically.

Emotionally.

And mentally.

Notice how your body relaxes.

The longer you are still.

Pay close attention to your breathing for a few minutes.

Notice how this naturally calms your breathing down.

And as your breath slows and calms.

So does your mind.

And you find yourself naturally relaxing.

Your body and mind more and more.

And now that you are deeply relaxed.

Bring your attention.

To the music.

Let your breathing synchronize with the music.

Feel the music in your body.

Reaching every part of you.

Notice the sense of well-being that it brings to you.

Notice how relaxed you feel.

And as you listen.

You are able to relax.

Even more.

Relax into the music.

Breathe the music.

Be the music.

And if your mind starts to wander away from the sound.

Just gently and calmly.

Bring it back.

The sound is in the present moment.

Thoughts take you away from the now.

To the future.

Or to the past.

Or they may be commenting on your experience of the present.

There's no need for any of this now.

Let all that die.

Allow your mind.

To be still.

And as your mind comes.

Your feeling of peace grows within you.

Just allow yourself to be.

To be in the music.

And let the sound and the listening dissolve into you.

Your sound is your ending.

To the present moment.

You are able to relax.

And let the sound and the listening dissolve into you.

Allow the sound.

Let the sound.

To anchor.

To the present time.

Right now.

This is all there is.

And as the meditation comes to an end.

To take this peace with you into your life.

And to remove others.

Thank you.
