Take a moment to get comfortable.

Whether you want to be seated or laying down,

Make sure that your body is supported.

Allow your spine to be long,

Which means that there is space for you to breathe deeply.

Space for you to breathe easily.

And let's begin with the breath.

Taking an easy breath in.

And exhale.

Release your shoulders.

Soften your throat.

Take another breath,

Breathing in and out as you allow yourself to settle into this moment and to right now.

Allow for anything else that is happening in your space to simply be there,

To be happening alongside your relaxation.

Take your attention to your breath and just notice how your breath feels.

There is no need to change the breath.

Just simply notice how does it feel.

What are the qualities of your breath?

Is it short?

Is it a long,

Deep breath?

Is it smooth and steady?

Does it feel ragged or stuck?

Does the inhale feel different from your exhale?

And you'll simply notice without judgment,

Without needing to change.

And now focus your attention to the tip of your nose,

The edges of your nostrils,

And allow that space to be where you notice the breath,

Each inhalation cool,

Noticing each exhalation warm.

Allowing for all of your concentration to be at this point at the tip of the nose,

The edges of the nostrils.

And as you breathe easy,

As you allow that point to be your focus,

Allow for the rest of your body to relax.

As we breathe and relax,

We'll begin moving through a journey of visualization,

The feeling,

The sensation of noticing our body as we move through the idea of the energetic chakras.

So in this state of relaxation,

The breath is calm,

Your body is relaxed.

Imagine or pretend that you were breathing in a red color,

A red light,

The air is red,

A red energy,

Just imagine breathing that in,

Letting it move up through your nostrils down into your lungs,

Past your lungs,

Into your body so that as you breathe in this red color,

This red light,

This red energy,

Whatever you imagine or pretend it to be,

This red color,

This red energy fills up your entire body.

Your left side and your right side,

Your lower body,

Your upper body,

All filled with this red color,

This red energy,

Red light.

And it can be any shade of red,

Dark or light,

Bright or dull.

Breathing it in,

As you exhale,

Let it just settle into your being.

This color red,

The color of our first chakra,

The root associated with the earth,

Feeling of being grounded,

Settled.

Allow your body to feel solid and stable.

Feel yourself in a place of safety.

Allowing that red color to sink into every cell,

Every part of you,

Bringing with it the energy,

The intention of stability,

Of feeling safe,

Secure,

Being home within yourself.

Allowing for this red color,

Whatever you imagine,

To fade.

Let it just melt into the background.

And now as you inhale,

Imagine orange,

An orange color,

Dark or light,

Bright or dull,

Any shade of orange,

Breathing it in as though the air were orange,

Breathing in this orange energy,

Light,

Orange color.

So just like with the red,

It fills up your entire body,

From your head to your toes,

Out to your fingers.

The front of your body and the back of your body,

Whole thing.

Breathing in the orange,

The orange color of our second chakra,

The navel center,

Or sometimes called the sacral chakra,

This orange light,

This orange energy brings with it creativity.

You might feel a lightness,

A flowing movement like water.

The second chakra,

Creative center where things begin,

Where we birth new ideas,

Where we grow.

To center part of our decision making,

Yes or no.

Allow the sense of water flowing through the body.

Orange ideas,

Allowing things to grow.

Take another breath and then allow that orange color to simply fade,

Slip away into the background.

It's always there.

We simply are allowing it to rest.

And with the next breath,

Imagine yellow,

A yellow light,

Yellow energy,

Yellow color.

The air is yellow and we're breathing it in and we can feel it filling up our entire body like rays of golden sun.

As though you could breathe in the sunlight and you can feel the warmth flowing through you,

Lighting up every cell.

Yellow the color of our third chakra,

Solar plexus.

This is our place of personal power,

Standing in the bright sun.

Feel up the entire body with this yellow light that allows us to shine,

Shining out our true selves,

The great power within us.

Feeling lightness,

Feeling an energy of outward movement as though your whole body works,

Expanding,

Feeling the energy opening,

Expanding outward.

You may even feel a small smile.

You can feel the power you have inside you.

Simply rested,

Allowing yourself to just be here right now enjoying this feeling.

Take one more breath in this bright sun.

As you exhale,

Allow the sunlight to fade into the background.

You can bring it back anytime you need,

But right now let it go and breathe in a green color,

Imagining a green like the spring green leaves,

The sprouts,

Fresh grass,

Bright light green.

Bringing it in,

Imagine that this green light,

This green energy could circulate through your heart,

Into your lungs,

Out to your entire body,

The whole network of vessels and arteries,

Muscles,

Ligaments and tendons,

Bones,

All your organs,

Up into your head,

Into your brain.

This green light,

This green energy,

This green color filling you up from the inside out,

Filtering through all the tissues of your body,

Through every cell.

Seeing the color of our fourth chakra,

The heart,

Heart center,

Where we find compassion,

Love,

Acceptance,

Forgiveness,

Gratitude,

All the feelings without judgment,

Joy,

Anger,

Sadness,

Grief,

And allow yourself to feel whatever feelings you feel right now.

As you flood the body with green light,

With green energy,

Have gratitude that you do have feelings,

That our emotions are here and we know them.

The heart chakra is also where we connect with others,

Where we have compassion for ourselves and others,

Where we forgive ourselves and others,

Where we love ourselves and others.

The heart chakra is also a place of healing.

We can heal many hurts through the heart.

Breathe easy.

Allow your body to rest.

Take two more breaths of this vibrant green energy.

And then let that fade.

You can bring it back any time you need.

But for now,

Just put it away.

And imagine breathing in blue,

Blue light,

Blue energy,

Blue air,

A blue color,

In through the nose,

Down through the throat,

Into the rest of the body,

Filling up from our head to our toes,

Out to the fingertips,

The front of the body,

The back of the body,

Blue,

The color of our fifth chakra,

The throat center,

Communication,

Truth,

Wisdom,

Discernment,

The bridge between our head and our hearts,

The bridge connecting us to our higher selves.

Breathing in blue,

Opening up the throat,

The energy channel so that we can have clear communication.

We can speak our truth.

We can make sound decisions.

Blue the color courage,

Soaking that in.

And now let that fade.

You can bring it back anytime you need.

Let it fade into the background.

And then imagine indigo,

Breathing in,

Filling your whole body with indigo,

The color of our sixth chakra,

The third eye center,

Breathing in indigo,

Allowing that color to fill every part of you,

Breathing it in,

The third eye center,

The sixth chakra,

Our inner knowing,

Open,

Clear sight,

Vision,

The place where we can look inside.

And all of our answers are right there.

We simply need to look,

To open our eyes,

To see the truth inside.

And now imagining a violet light coming in from the crown of the head all the way down to the soles of the feet.

Violet,

The color of our crown chakra,

The very top of the head,

The seventh chakra,

A violet light throughout your entire body,

This energy,

The crown.

This is the place where we connect to spirit,

To the universe,

Divinity,

Ascended masters,

Angels,

Guides.

Whatever your belief is,

This is where you connect your higher power to God.

Open the space just above the very top of your head,

Like opening a window,

Connecting yourself to this higher power,

Or maybe even just your higher self,

Whatever your belief is.

This is the place of connection,

Where we listen,

Where we intuit,

Where we know,

Where we feel that connection,

That connection with everything,

That we are part of a whole,

Of all,

Everything.

There's no separation.

We are one.

And then any color that may be in your mind,

In your imagination,

Let that fade and bring to mind a crystal white light.

And imagine that you were being surrounded by this crystal white light,

Like a cloud or a blanket.

Wrap yourself up in this crystal white light,

Comfort,

Safety,

Security,

Knowing,

A place of rest.

Allow yourself to rest for a few more breaths,

Completely at peace,

At home within yourself,

Connected to all.

Taking one more deep breath in and out.

Let that crystal white light color fade and begin to feel your physical body once again,

Noticing whatever is supporting you,

Chair,

Bed,

Couch,

The floor,

Wherever you are,

Simply noticing whatever your physical body is in contact with,

Noticing that support,

Noticing the feel of the air around you.

Notice any sounds.

Allow your body to remain relaxed,

Your breath to be easy,

But simply become aware of yourself in your current space in this moment right now and take a deep breath in and exhale and take another deep breath in and exhale.

Returning all of your attention now to your space,

Maybe moving gently through your hands,

Your feet,

Or your arms,

Your legs,

Maybe even opening your eyes to look around as though this is the very first time you were in this space.

Be curious.

Notice where you are and then take another breath to fully arrive.

Exhale releasing this meditation,

Bringing yourself back 100% to the present moment and to the rest of your day.
