Welcome to today's meditation for the throat chakra,

Vishuddha chakra,

And this is our energy center for feeling a connection to the astral and ethereal plane,

As well as governing your own self-expression and the ability to use your voice in the world,

As well as in your own being.

It also correlates with any issues with the thyroid or neck problems,

Neck pain.

This can be connected to the throat chakra.

So let's take a few deep breaths together,

Inhaling through the nose,

And exhaling and sighing out of the mouth,

Making some noise on the exhale,

Starting to activate that throat.

Deep inhale.

Ah.

And again,

Inhaling through the nose.

Ah.

One more time.

Ah.

Ah.

And now just coming to a relaxed breath,

In through the nostrils and out through the nostrils.

And be aware of the frequency of the music here,

So the flute can activate the throat chakra,

So allowing this music to penetrate your energy body.

And just relaxing as you inhale and exhale,

Letting go of any tension in the hips,

In the shoulders,

In the face,

In the arms,

In the legs,

In the knees,

In the toes,

In the toes.

And now placing your awareness at the base of the spine,

The perineum,

The root chakra.

And as you inhale,

Feel that you're collecting anything that's no longer serving from your physical body into the earth,

From your root.

Simply keeping your awareness,

Your attention,

Your loving focus at the base of your spine as you breathe,

Invoking in safety,

Calm,

And feeling grounded.

Beautiful.

Now bringing your awareness up to the heart space.

And as you inhale,

Imagine breathing in warm,

Glowing energy into your heart space.

Feeling it as love,

As gratitude,

As forgiveness.

And as you exhale from the heart space,

You're releasing anything that you've been carrying in your heart,

Letting it go on the out breath.

So a few breaths here,

Breathing into the heart,

Opening to love.

And exhaling out whatever isn't serving.

And now taking your awareness up to the throat.

Imagining a brilliant blue light radiating from your throat,

The color of the sky.

Vast,

Expansive,

And as you exhale,

You're letting go of anything that's holding you back.

And we're going to do a little bit of chanting here or vowel pranayama.

So working with the vowel that corresponds to the throat.

So you can imagine it's spelt with like E-E-E,

The letter E.

So you can imagine this repeated and it will sound like this.

So deep inhale.

E.

So we're chanting the letter E three times,

Really feeling this resonate from your throat chakra.

Let's begin,

Deep inhale all the way into the belly through the nose.

And exhale.

E.

E.

E.

Now just coming back to a relaxed breath in and out of the nostrils.

And noticing any sensations around your throat,

Inside,

Perhaps around the neck,

Shoulders,

Or anywhere in your body,

Noticing and becoming aware of the sensations that are present in your body.

And noticing how you feel in your energy body,

In your emotional body.

Are there any subtle shifts?

Any changes in the way you feel now compared to the beginning of the practice?

And know that you can come to this practice at any point throughout the day,

A simple check-in with yourself,

With your voice,

A little hum.

Thank you so much for doing this practice.

Wishing you a beautiful day and a beautiful journey with your voice.

Much love.

Absolutely incredible practice for releasing what was pushed down for so long inside of me. This was a beautiful experience that I will come back to again as I continue to heal
