Welcome to today's meditation for grounding and balancing the root chakra or muladhara chakra.
Muladhara chakra is located at the base of the spine.
You can focus your attention at this point,
The beginning of your spine.
So you can imagine it at the base of your pelvic floor around your perineum which is the skin in between the anus and the genitals.
Breathing deep into this space and letting go with a sigh.
So take a few more like this,
A deep inhale through the nose and then as you exhale,
Sighing,
Letting go and releasing tension.
One more deep inhale through the nose all the way down into your belly and letting go.
And now finding a relaxed breath becoming centered in your body.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose,
Trying to extend the exhale.
So inhaling and exhaling through the nose a little bit longer.
Keeping your attention on the base of your spine,
Your root chakra.
As you breathe in,
You're breathing grounding,
Clarifying,
Balancing energy into your root chakra.
And as you breathe out,
You're releasing anything that's no longer serving from this space.
So you can imagine your root chakra at the base of your spine,
A brilliant red light spinning,
Opening,
Cleansing,
Grounding this chakra with your breath,
With your body.
Beautiful.
Now we're just going to do a little bit of breath work which is specifically for Mula Dara Chakra.
And what we're going to do is breathe in for four,
Hold for a count of four,
Breathe out for four,
And hold for a count of four.
And this is balancing your nervous system and specifically grounding your root chakra.
So let's begin.
Breathing in two three four,
Hold two three four,
Exhale two three four,
Hold two three four,
Inhale two three four,
Hold two three four,
Exhale two three four,
Hold two three four and just continue this cycle on your own for a few minutes inhale hold exhale hold.
Count to four.
And keeping your attention on the ludara chakra as you do this you you you you you beautiful just coming back to a relaxed breath in and out and just noticing how you feel perhaps a little more grounded a little more calm putting your attention on muladhara chakra and on muladhara chakra knowing that you are safe to experience whatever arises there may be emotions discomfort just letting them be there just welcome it repeating to yourself I am safe I am worthy I am loved I am healthy I am grounded taking a moment placing one hand on your heart and perhaps the other on your lower belly just celebrating yourself for taking this space to connect with yourself connect with your root chakra your energy center for vitality bringing a little smile in smiling at yourself when you're ready you can take your space to finish this practice remembering that you have everything inside of you everything is there already you can take this with you this feeling throughout the day sending you so much love
