Welcome to this jaw harmony meditation.
Taking a few deep breaths through the nose,
Deep and slow.
Grounding in this moment,
And washing away anything you don't need right now.
Can you tune in to the feeling of harmony?
Can you pick it up anywhere in your body?
This can be a slight tingling,
A feeling of everything is okay here,
Everything is in balance.
Just explore if you can pick up on this.
So if you could pick up on this,
On this harmony within,
Wherever it may be.
I want you to expand this,
Multiply this by 10.
If you couldn't pick up on harmony or you're not really sure,
See if you can create this harmony within.
Starting with a tiny little seed and watching how it grows as you breathe slowly and deeply in and out through the nose.
Really like a flower starting from the tiniest seed.
And then growing more and more,
Unfolding until you blossom.
Now tune into your jaw,
What is here in your jaw?
Just observing,
Not judging,
Not wanting to change anything,
Just seeing what is here,
Exploring.
Can you pick up on any harmony in your jaw?
Any little seed or whatever it is,
Tune in to the harmony present in your jaw.
If you're struggling to pick up on the harmony,
Just see if you can create a little harmony here.
Bringing to mind what you love,
What fills you with love and balance,
And giving a little bit of that feeling to your jaw.
Most importantly,
We're not really trying to make anything happen.
We're just enjoying this experience,
Bringing awareness to our jaw and tuning into the harmony that is within.
And that will only grow the more we give awareness and love to it.
Appreciating harmony comes with the kind of acceptance that at times we're naturally not going to be in harmony.
That's completely normal,
Because we have these awesome mechanisms that keep us safe and that want to ensure that we thrive and are protected,
Cared for.
When these mechanisms are triggered too much,
We can experience them in ways that are not so beneficial.
But at the core,
These are really important and beautiful.
Especially in our jaw,
We can feel how our body reacts in a defensive way to keep us safe.
So maybe just taking a second for thanking the mechanism present in your jaw,
The emotions,
All of those things to do with survival,
Keeping you safe.
And thanking them for the hard work they've been doing.
Letting them know that right now,
It's okay for them to let their guard down,
To fall back and let harmony and balance be in the driver's seat.
Now tune into your heart.
And see if there's any intention that you want to set for the rest of your day.
Maybe you want to be more self-compassionate,
More loving.
Or maybe you just want to do your best to tune into this harmony as good as you can and spreading it with others as well,
Reminding them of the harmony that they have within.
Even when at times we forget,
It's always there.
The sun is always there behind the clouds.
So thank yourself,
Thank your body,
Thank your process.
See if there's anything you want to remember from this session today.
Then slowly start to bring awareness back into your feet.
You can give them a little wiggle if you like.
Into your legs.
Into your hips.
Into your belly.
Seeing how your whole body is just that little bit more in tune with the harmony within.
To your chest.
To your lower back.
To your upper back.
To your shoulders.
To your arms and fingers.
Giving your fingers a little wiggle if you like.
To your neck.
To your jaw.
Seeing how your jaw feels now.
Just that little bit more in tune with the harmony.
And your face.
And whole head.
Sending one last wave of harmony through your entire body as it will ripple through anything that is to come.
