We often strive so very hard to reach outcomes, yet seldom do we slow down to become more attuned with realizing that 'less can more.' This practice hopes to create an awareness around the opportunity to 'try less and be more,' which can help us feel more at ease day to day, confident, and less stressful. This practice can help you cultivate more awareness around the benefits of 'trying less and being more,' living and leading from deeper places of our being and intuition, while providing a sense of 'Winning the Moment, Winning the Day.'

Hello and welcome.

My name is Kevin Parker.

I am a Corporate Mindfulness Meditation Instructor and Executive Coach.

Today we'll explore a practice that can help us to feel like we are winning the moment,

Winning the day.

And as we begin,

I invite you to be in a comfortable position.

You can have your eyes closed or opened.

Whatever feels right for you.

Let's start with a deep breath.

Breathing in fully,

Slowly,

Feeling the breath and then releasing at your own pace.

Breathing in.

And as you release that breath,

See if you can begin to just settle into the here and now.

Begin to notice,

Perhaps,

The support you feel from the chair you're on.

Begin to intentionally try to slow your thoughts down.

Settle into the moment.

Start to notice your body.

Notice your surroundings.

Scanning the room that you're in.

Noticing again your body.

Any sensations within it.

And then noticing your breath.

Maybe you notice it in the nasal area as you breathe in and out.

Maybe you feel your chest rising and falling with each breath.

Noticing it.

Feeling it.

Being in the moment with your breath.

Your body.

The surroundings.

Within this practice today,

We are intentionally going to try less and be more.

Realizing that less is more.

Less noise.

Information.

Social media.

Material items.

Less comparing ourselves to others.

This can lead to more human interaction.

Time and nature.

Living and doing what makes us truly feel alive.

See if you can see yourself,

Feel yourself.

Trying less.

Being more.

Realizing less is more.

More of what holds meaning for us.

More at ease with ourselves.

More confident within ourselves.

And sensing and feeling a quiet confidence emerging each moment,

Each day.

Allow yourself to feel more at ease with yourself.

Allow yourself to feel more confident in yourself.

Continue to intentionally slow down your thoughts.

Settle into the moment.

Settle in and feel your body,

Feel your breath.

Trying less and being more.

As we continue to settle fully into each moment,

Realizing that less is more.

We can then continue to feel more at ease with ourselves.

More confident.

More satisfied with perhaps how we show up,

Interact,

Perform.

More satisfied with how we're navigating life,

Its complexities,

And its blessings.

As we continue to cultivate this sense of trying less and being more.

We can feel more firmly grounded.

On a pathway that allows us to win each moment,

To win each day.

We will begin to transition to close our practice out.

We will take in again another deep breath to do so.

As you're ready,

Breathing in.

And as you release the breath,

This will close out our practice for today.

As you go forward,

Continue to try less and be more.

So that you can feel like you are winning each moment,

Winning each day.
