Mindfulness Meditation and Confidence Practice to cultivate calm, focus, and confidence. Within the mindfulness part of the practice, the breath will be used as an anchor. For the confidence part, visualization and remembering one's emotions and mindsets will be used to build confidence. One can add their own binaural beats or ambient soundtracks via another source.

Welcome to Mind Training Matters.

My name is Kevin Parker.

Today,

We will use mindfulness meditation and visualization to activate and build out our confidence.

Let's drop in.

Please be in a comfortable position.

Your eyes can be closed or opened.

Begin to bring your awareness to the feeling of your breath,

The sensation of your breath.

Perhaps you feel your breath the most in the nasal area as you breathe in and out,

Or in the chest as it rises and comes down,

Or in the belly as it fills and empties.

Allow your awareness to be in the chest.

Allow your awareness to rest in the sensation,

The feeling of your breath.

As your awareness settles into the feeling of your breath,

You may also notice from time to time that thoughts surface,

Or that maybe you're aware of sensations in your body,

Emotions emerging or bubbling up,

Or even sounds in and outside the room you're in.

And that's all part of our practice.

So just acknowledge whatever surfaces,

Then come back to that feeling,

That sensation of your breath.

You're doing a great job.

Stay with it.

Within your practice,

You may also notice at times your mind feels calmer,

More spacious,

Or there's times where it may feel busy and less spacious.

And that is okay.

It's all part of our meditative work.

So just acknowledge patterns and feelings like that that you may experience as well,

And then come back to the feeling of your breath.

Let's transition now to building out our confidence.

Begin to visualize a time when you were extremely confident.

It can be from any moment or chapter of your life.

As you remember that confident moment or chapter,

See if you can also remember the feelings associated with it,

The feelings that you may have experienced.

The mindset you had,

The empowering energy field you felt within.

Now,

Make an intention related to being in this confident mindset more consistently.

Repeat it several times to yourself.

See yourself in that mode again as you repeat your intention.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Let these confident and empowering feelings sink in at a deeper level within yourself.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

See and feel this confident energy washing over you,

Renewing you,

Strengthening you.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Acknowledge and trust that you could have this mindset more consistently.

You are doing a great job.

Be confident in yourself.

As a way of concluding,

I want to encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your past.

As a way of concluding our practice today,

I ask you to take in one deep breath and hold it for a few seconds and then slowly release it.

And if your eyes are closed,

Begin to open them.

Breathing in.

Thank you for your presence and practice today.

Keep up the great work you are doing.

Until next time,

Be well.

Be confident and empowered.

This is great, Kevin. The pacing is great, the amount of silence is perfect and I really like the ambient background music. Thank you!
