Welcome to guided meditations with Kevin Karras and Sia Music.
Welcome to today's practice.
A practice that's geared to help you settle down and to come to some clarity around decisions in your life.
It may be helpful for you to have a journal or writing utensil nearby.
If you need to pause,
You can pause really quick.
But we'll begin.
So finding a position where you can sit comfortably and write and starting to close your eyes when you arrive there and close them too comes us in clarity with him.
Feel your breath.
Tune into the ocean of your own consciousness.
Space to discover what you're present with.
Particularly paying attention to any challenges that come up.
Whatever it is that you need to settle down and get some clarity on.
And just feel the effect of getting to take a deep breath.
And to exhale,
Let some of the tension settle down.
Just looking at the situation now.
Looking to the patterns and cycles of thoughts and feelings around it.
And what is it that you're feeling?
And be real with acknowledging the feeling.
Begin to see if you can just allow your body to settle any points of tension.
Any of the tension which may be coming up related to these thoughts and feelings.
And fill that tension instead with some inspiration.
Find within yourself that place,
A place of inspiration.
Where new insights can arise.
So being open.
And in a moment we'll begin our activity.
An activity to just be able to be open to your own wisdom within yourself.
Start by asking yourself,
What wisdom can I learn from the situation going on in my life?
And allow yourself to imagine a mentor,
Teacher,
Or role model who you look up to.
What inspirational message would they bring you?
And what advice would they give you?
Just be open to visualizing that person and their voice.
And have them help you.
Give you some wisdom on this question.
And we'll begin to just integrate the wisdom we've discovered.
Just starting to bring it back.
And taking some time to really,
Really write and reflect on what came up.
Even if just for a moment.
To be able to use this wisdom in the rest of your life.
Not needing any particular answer.
Just being with what is.
