Welcome and thanks for meditating with me today.
For our session today I will guide you through an alchemy meditation.
That kind of meditation is a somatic technique that helps us to harmonize with our physical feelings.
It means that we are going to bring all our attention inside our bodies.
We are going to be more present with what's alive in our bodies.
During this meditation we are also gonna ground ourselves with the breath.
Because our breath will be a key element for our practice today.
We are going to focus on our bodily sensations.
Using what we call felt sense and connect to the archives of body memory.
This type of meditation trains us to remain alert,
Open and receptive to any sensation that comes across our field.
We give it all our focus,
Attention and awareness without trying to analyze or judge anything.
So let's begin.
Take a comfortable position.
Ideally in a seated position to remain alert and to explore actively our relaxation.
Let's start by closing our eyes if they aren't already.
And take the time to arrive.
Keep your spine straight.
Tuck slightly your chin.
Release your jaws.
And keep a little space between your teeth.
Release your shoulders.
Your lower belly.
Your hands and your legs are heavy.
I invite you to globally feel yourself.
How are you feeling right now?
Without analyzing too much.
Just recognize it.
A simple sentence or a word is enough.
Sometimes it's even just a feeling without using any words.
Simply ask yourself.
How am I feeling right now?
Ask yourself how is my body feeling today?
Is there a specific part of your body that needs more attention today?
Slowly take a deep breath in.
And release everything with your out breath.
Inhale.
Your breath.
Your breath will be a key factor in our meditation today.
I invite you to inhale on a count of five.
And let go on the exhalation.
Keep following your breath like a cycle.
No pause at the top,
Neither at the bottom.
And of course,
If you don't feel like doing it today,
Simply follow the meditation without any breathwork technique.
So if you choose to breathe,
Let's begin to count on five.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Exhale,
Let it go completely without counting.
And exhale,
Let all go.
Keep going at your own count.
And remember there's nothing to achieve.
We simply want to bring more oxygen inside your body.
To awake a bit more our bodily sensations.
And if you notice that your attention goes out,
Simply come back to your breath.
While you're breathing,
I invite you to scan your body.
Looking for a specific sensation.
It could be a little pain,
Tingling,
Tightness,
A sort of pulsation,
Warmth,
Or any type of sensation.
It really doesn't matter.
I just want you to focus on one particular sensation.
The one that grabs your attention the most right now.
If you're using active breathing,
Keep the rhythm throughout the whole meditation.
Bodily sensations are constantly changing.
And during this meditation,
We observe them as they change,
As they transform and shift.
Once you find your sensation,
Bring all your attention to it.
Breathe in that sensation.
Breathe out that sensation.
It's an invitation to step away from the mind into the body and connect with our ever-changing sensory,
Energetic,
And emotional landscape that lives inside of you.
What's happening to your sensation?
Perhaps it changes,
It moves,
It intensifies,
Or it may even disappear.
If that's the case,
Simply keep looking for another sensation somewhere else in your body.
Keep breathing.
At first,
It may only be for a second or two that we can offer that quality of attention.
But every time we come back,
Something happens and we are able to stay longer.
It's an invitation to pay attention in a new way and to cultivate greater awareness at all times of our lives.
It's about learning,
Relearning to feel.
The body is always talking to us and sending us signals about what we are doing,
About how we are doing,
How we feel about a situation,
Or just how we are feeling at the moment.
Through practice,
Patience,
And intention we bring to it,
We train ourselves to be open to its messages,
Both the big and subtle.
This meditation is a journey back into our body and wants to harmonize the relationship with our own temple.
Turning to our feelings,
Using our felt sense,
Is a conscious invitation from the body to speak to us,
Opening the door to deep inner healing.
With continued practice,
We strengthen our presence and awareness and access the body archives where all of our memories and life experiences are stored.
Deepening our intuition,
We connect to a higher wisdom so that all of our life's moments and decisions are guided by an innate knowledge.
Keep breathing,
Stay present,
Be curious,
And start noticing once more how are you feeling right now.
Is there a difference from the beginning of this meditation?
Just be aware of it and slowly take a deep breath,
And when you're ready,
Bring some gentle movement to your fingers,
Your feet,
Your head,
Bring your attention to your surroundings,
And when you feel it,
You can gently open your eyes.
Thanks for practicing with me today.
