Welcome to this meditation.
We will be using one of my favorite postures which is legs up the wall.
This is a very restorative position so take your time to get there.
My favorite is to it on a bed with my legs up the wall but really find any place.
You can even use a block under your sacrum if you do not have a wall that's free for your legs.
Perhaps bringing a blanket to drape over the chest or anything that's weighted that would feel nice.
And once you get there we will begin with three inhales through the nose exhaling out through the mouth.
And slowly shifting to that Ujjayi breath inhales and exhales through the nose and slight rattle or constriction at the back of the throat.
Allowing the mind to settle.
And in the mind's eye replaying a honest movie of the day you just had.
Honest meaning the whole picture.
Allowing the mind to see everything that happened without judgment including the highs the lows the mundane the neutrals.
Just allowing yourself to integrate what happened throughout the day.
Noticing the mind wanting to replay a certain part of the day or getting attached to words or people and just naturally allowing the movie to proceed.
Using the breath as sort of an aid to continue on.
Once your movie comes to a close with you and your legs up the wall.
Seeing if you can hold gratitude for a person a moment or a lesson that you learned throughout the day.
And there is no such thing as something being too small to be grateful for.
Allowing whatever intuitively feels most potent to you in this moment to be what you hold in your heart.
Noticing how the body responds to this moment or person.
And seeing if you feel perhaps lightness in the chest a warmth in the belly maybe a soft smile maybe ease in the eyes.
And then gently letting this go.
Coming back to the Ujjayi breath in and out through the nose.
Ocean waves hound allowing the breath to soothe to integrate your day.
Allowing yourself to remember the feeling of peace before you fall asleep.
Perhaps offering yourself some kind words whether it was a good day or a bad day or a neutral day.
Showing yourself deep love regardless of the outcome of your day.
Reminding yourself that you'll wake up with a brand new day in the morning.
A new chance to remember love in its fullest form.
Thank you so much for practicing and remembering love with me.
I hope you have a beautiful night's sleep and feel free to linger here as long as you need.
