Thank you so much for joining for this gratitude meditation.

We're going to get started in a comfortable seated position,

Perhaps laying down or legs up the wall,

Allowing yourself to get any last fidgets out.

And as you're ready,

Perhaps shuttering the eyes closed.

Just noticing the heaviness of your body,

The support of the ground beneath you.

Noticing your eyelids getting heavier.

Jaw unhinges.

The cheekbones soften.

The shoulders roll down the back.

The throat clears.

Noticing the belly softening.

Noticing the weight of your left leg and of your right leg.

Noticing where you're finding the breath in the body.

Just allowing the awareness and the contact with the breath to grow.

Just inhaling into the belly and exhaling,

Letting the belly go.

Keeping that rhythm and allowing the breath to be wherever it is in the body.

Maybe the belly is a bit of a stretch,

So perhaps finding the breath wherever it is,

Meeting yourself in this moment.

And then taking a pause here.

Coming into contact with your heart space.

Imagining a warm glowing light.

Surrounding your heart center.

Perhaps emanating warmth in the chest.

Noticing any tingling sensation.

From this place of heart openness tuning into something you woke up grateful for.

Perhaps it's something you're grateful for in this moment.

Not only just bringing this attitude to mind,

But also sensing it in the body.

Noticing how your palms feel when you think of it.

Noticing the heart space.

Noticing if you want to smile or widen the eyes.

And we're going to repeat this two more times.

Bringing another thing,

A person,

A feeling,

An experience,

A place.

Bringing something to mind that you feel grateful for.

And just noticing in the body again how you feel gratitude.

And just simmering in this appreciation,

Just one breath.

And then one last time bringing together both of these gratitudes with something that's been a bit of a challenge,

A hardship you weren't expecting or maybe you were expecting,

Bringing this to mind.

Noticing what in this lesson you can be grateful for.

Finding a silver lining.

Not bypassing the hardship,

But simply just finding and observing a small light within.

Taking an inhale,

Noticing how you feel gratitude in the body,

And taking an exhale.

Thank you so much for joining this meditation.

I hope you have a beautiful day.
