The Energetic Diffusion Technique is a beautiful way to create non-mental integration of daily issues, recurring issues and/or past emotional issues that were overwhelming. Before starting this meditation, bring to mind a situation that you feel is unresolved. We will be letting this emotion come up so that we can feel it and process it and allow it to integrate. This process is great for reolving old blocks, emotions and events that have remained in the body.

Hello,

My name is Carrie Wade.

Thank you for joining me for this Yoga Nidra session in which we are going to be doing an energetic diffusion technique.

Now this technique is especially powerful in helping you to integrate daily issues or even old blocks or emotions or events that have stayed in your system but doing it non-mentally on an energetic level.

So please make yourself as comfortable as possible.

And close your eyes and quiet your mind.

Be still.

Let go of all thoughts,

Worry,

And tension.

Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.

And let go even more.

Now bring into your awareness a situation that feels incomplete.

Feel it fully.

Make it very real for you as if you were in the middle of it right now.

Now notice where you feel that event in your body.

Fully observe the range of sensations.

If you were to describe that sensation,

What would you say?

What does it feel like?

Just be aware and breathe into that place of sensation.

Use the breath to be with what is there.

Not trying to make it go away.

Just use the breath to hang out with it.

Breathe into it.

Just let it be as it is.

Fully observe what you are aware of now.

Truly feel the sensation.

If it has changed or moved,

Stay with it.

Not trying to avoid any part of the experience.

Let it be fully felt as if to say to it,

I am willing to feel you.

Give it full permission to be.

Experiencing without trying to change anything.

It just is.

So breathe with it.

Stay with it.

Now simply observe what you are now aware of.

Create space for what is there.

Don't recess what you are feeling.

Create a sense of relaxation in the midst of it all.

Make no effort to control or manipulate.

Be soft,

Spacious,

And at ease.

Continue to breathe with what is present.

Make space for it all to be as if to say,

It's okay that you are here.

Simply observe what you are aware of now.

If the sensation moves or changes,

Follow it patiently and ease fully.

Stay with the process.

Stay present and be interested and curious about what you are feeling.

If you feel yourself moving into avoidance,

Breathe and come back to an openness to what you are feeling.

Notice what happens in your body if you remain present,

Relaxed,

And connected.

Continue to use your breath and attention to be with it all just as it is.

Simply observe what you are aware of now.

Make space for it all to be.

It just needs to be acknowledged.

Remove yourself from any tendency to control or resist.

Just let it be as it is without needing it to be different.

Now drop below whatever is happening to a space of silence.

Whether the sensation has shifted or not,

Allow integration to happen with where you are now.

As we enter further into yoga nidra,

Any releases,

Shifts,

And changes that need to take place will happen spontaneously and effortlessly.

Now it is time for your body to rest deeply.

Let go of any need to make anything happen.

Enter the deepest state of letting go right now.

Feel yourself held in absolute stillness,

Totally absorbed,

Fully engaged in the flood of energy.

Allow the commentary of the mind to dissolve into sensation.

Bring your attention to a constricted or dense part of the body.

Though you may not consciously recognize the cause of this feeling,

The innate intelligence of your body knows how to resolve it.

Breathe into this area.

Make space for it.

Give it room to move.

Disperse.

The body releasing whatever it no longer needs.

Now sense the body's healing energy streaming towards this area as if it were attracting it like a magnet.

Watch this part of the body returning to wholeness,

Vitality,

As it is surrounded by this healing light.

With each inhalation,

Begin to sense the body as more energy than density until the whole body is felt as a pulsing,

Tingling energy field.

Any emotions,

Thoughts,

Or fears that may have contributed to the imbalance can now be released and resolved.

See and feel the whole body healed and whole.

Allow your entire self to respond spontaneously and effortlessly to what I say.

I feel my burden is lifted.

I feel complete freedom from managing,

Controlling,

Or needing anything outside of myself.

I release all those who I blame for my unhappiness.

I am free and clear of all that has happened in the past.

I am light unburdened and free.

Every relationship I encounter unconditionally allows my hidden self-rejection to be resolved.

I allow my body to create a profound healing shift right now.

I remain free from all of life's struggles and I shift into the next level of consciousness.

I am a clear channel for the free flow of divine guidance.

At this sacred moment,

Your whole being has made a major paradigm shift.

Establish yourself in total trust and faith that remains free from any need to be in control.

Feel energy and grace fill you and surround you at all times.

Do not hesitate,

Doubt,

Or dispute it.

Let it come naturally.

Now begin to become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.

Slowly feel yourself begin to rise to the surface of awareness.

Gradually you can move as if you are waking from a restful sleep.

Regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed,

Know that something deep within has shifted to connect you with your intention.

Become aware of your body and bring a deep sense of peace and gratitude with you.

As you bring attention back into your body,

Notice how relaxed the body is,

How soft the breath is,

How silent the mind is,

How quiet the heartbeat is.

Be still and be grateful.

Know that you can easily enter here again and again.

And when you're ready,

You may gradually open your eyes.
