Sometimes the word surrender can be scary.

It may bring up an uncomfortable feeling somewhere in our body,

Or make us think as though it's a negative thing to do,

Like waving the white flag or giving up on something.

As human beings,

We all come face to face with chaos in our life.

When things happen that feel unexpected or out of our control,

The first thing we usually want to do is tighten our grip on the situation and try to control anything that we can.

This is the exact moment that we need to surrender.

Surrender doesn't mean giving up,

It means giving in.

It means giving in to whatever you think should happen and handing over all trust in the chaos that is happening to the universe.

Surrender is remembering that the universe will never let you down and knowing that it always,

Always will have your back.

Surrender is trusting the process that is supposed to unfold for you,

Even if it's not what you think you want or should be happening in that moment.

Surrendering is one of the biggest acts of self-love that we can do for ourselves.

Even though it can sometimes be scary and make us feel alone,

When we give in to the uncertainty and allow ourselves to flow with the ups and downs of life,

We start to trust ourselves more and build a stronger connection with our intuition.

This is when the magic starts to happen.

Start by taking a few slow,

Deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

As you inhale,

Visualize your breath starting behind your belly button.

And slowly follow it up into your stomach,

Through your chest,

And feel it fill your lungs completely.

With an exhale,

Let the breath gently leave your body through your mouth,

Feeling yourself get lighter and settling deeper into your space on every exhale.

Let your breath begin settling into its natural rhythm and repeat the following words to yourself after me.

I am safe.

I am loved.

It is safe to surrender all of my worry,

Doubt,

And fear to the universe.

I trust myself and know that everything will be okay.

Everything is okay.

I am safe.

I am loved.

It is safe to surrender all of my worry,

Doubt,

And fear to the universe.

I trust myself and know that everything will be okay.

Everything is okay.

I am safe.

I am loved.

It is safe to surrender all of my worry,

Doubt,

And fear to the universe.

I trust myself and know that everything will be okay.

Everything is okay.

Take a deep inhale in,

Letting yourself feel those words sink deeper into your body.

As you exhale,

Remember that you are always free to come back to this space whenever you need to.

Always let your breath lead the way.

Namaste.

Very pretty. Please go slower on the words, phrases we are to repeat. Too many at one time and too fast. ❤️
