Using a float tank can be a fantastic experience. For people that are new to using a float tank, it can be challenging to quiet the mind and relax. Hello.

Get yourself comfortable in the float tank.

It might take a little time to get that right position,

But know that today we're going to focus on getting you deeply relaxed and then increasing your confidence so that you feel good.

So notice the body as you float there,

The lukewarm water that holds the body.

It supports your body.

And as I speak to you,

You can just allow yourself to begin to relax,

Maybe examining your thoughts and making the choice to allow your mind to become like a blank slate.

And allow your awareness to just follow the breath,

Aware of any multiple sensations arising or disappearing within the body,

Just receiving the body as it is,

Just feeling this body,

Breathing all by itself,

Gradually allowing your attention to come into awareness,

Awareness of the sensations generated by the breath within your body.

Feel the sensation of relaxation filling the belly,

In the chest and in the throat.

The nerve,

The air,

The sensation of the air and how it flows through the body with each inhalation and with each exhalation.

Notice the breath.

Notice clearly the quality of change occurring deep within you.

Notice the gentle act of letting go.

And if judgment arises,

You can notice that too,

Without judgment.

And if at any time the body will twitch,

That's okay.

It's your body's way of releasing trapped emotions like stress,

Tension,

Pain or worry.

So just watch this simple process unfold all by itself,

Simply floating and letting yourself be.

Just allowing and receiving,

Observing the changing sensations with each in-breath and with each out-breath.

Watch for any thoughts arising and see how thought thinks itself as you return to the breath.

Notice the subtle intention to follow the breath,

To release the control over the breath and to allow the breath to just be itself.

This moment of floating in this healing water,

Which is so warm,

So supportive and nurturing.

It simply holds you here and you simply observe.

You simply receive this experience,

Moment to moment.

Allowing my words to float in the background as this wonderful sensation of deep relaxation occurs.

And when a thought arises,

You can allow it to dissolve and fade away into pure silence.

Letting go of thought,

The gentle breath that supports your body,

Floating through the vastness of awareness.

Not thinking the breath,

But entering it directly.

Let your awareness go within the breath.

Feeling moment to moment the body's subtle changes,

The shift of energy,

The muscles relaxing and softening.

And then there's this gradual deepening deep within your core to just let go.

Allow the body to breathe all by itself.

That's right.

Noticing the beginning,

Middle and end of each inhalation.

Observing the space between.

Noticing the middle and end of each exhalation.

And then the space that follows.

Deeply relaxing and experiencing the simple act of breathing.

Without thinking the breath.

Simply unfolding moment to moment.

Without clinging or condemning.

Without force or judgment.

Just watching.

Just being.

Gently letting go the edges.

Allowing the walls to fade away.

Letting the armor go.

And going within.

Noticing your willingness to simply let go.

And float here.

Safe and secure.

Quiet and peaceful.

Noticing any sensations and then letting them float away.

Gently letting go.

Noticing any tension fading away.

You're okay.

There might be sensation after sensation.

And those sensations can just drift away.

Gently.

Easily.

As you float.

Edgeless and free.

So calm.

So relaxed.

It feels so good,

Doesn't it?

And I know there's a part of you that might be struggling with confidence.

And that's okay.

That's normal.

Everyone experiences self-doubt.

Every once in a while.

We're all perfectly imperfect.

And I know you are older.

You are wiser.

And so all parts of you are now working together.

For the whole of you.

For the best of you.

For they are you.

And you are them.

And so all parts are negotiating now.

Negotiating all the differences.

Allowing the old ways of thinking and acting to finally come to an end.

And that part of you that once began any negative behaviors is now aware and willing to let you,

The older,

Wiser self,

Now make healthy and more positive choices.

And so you will find that your younger self is accepting your attention,

Love and companionship to be better.

To feel better.

To live better.

And to thrive.

Mentally,

Emotionally,

Physically and even spiritually.

That's right.

And like any good friend,

Every part of you is receiving forgiveness.

Forgiveness of yourself and those imperfections.

And finding understanding,

Wisdom and compassion for all things that happened in the past.

For all things that happened in the past were all opportunities to learn,

To grow,

To expand.

And how to be a better person.

As well as how not to be.

And it's all okay.

You're okay.

For you know a better way to be.

To live.

To act.

To thrive.

For there is this older,

Wiser part of yourself that understands.

That has mercy.

That forgives.

That cares about you and for you.

So all parts of you come together now.

Like the pieces of a puzzle.

Secure and safe.

Allowing you to make better,

Healthier choices and decisions.

And all of these positive changes are integrating now.

Filling you with more confidence and self-belief.

Filling you to the brim with a sense that you are secure.

You are safe.

You are capable of so much more.

And so you do what needs to be done.

You follow your dreams.

You believe in you.

You embrace your gifts.

Your talents.

You find your voice.

And yes,

You speak your truth.

For what you have to say,

It matters.

How you think and feel matters.

Because you matter.

You're important.

You're a gift to this world.

So it's safe to be seen.

It's safe to be heard.

It's safe to feel.

You have had this truth since the day you were born.

To be,

Do,

Have and become all that you desire.

So what does your heart desire?

I see.

You can have it.

You can be it.

And so you give yourself permission to follow your heart.

To fulfill your dreams.

And to move past things that people have said.

You move past those limiting beliefs.

And you believe in you.

I mean in the past.

People once said the earth was flat.

And some people,

They actually believed it.

And just because someone said it was so,

It doesn't make it true.

The only thing that limits any of us is the way we think.

And so at this deep level now,

Where behavior begins and thoughts are stored,

You now think more confidently.

You are now more optimistic and positive.

And you realize that the you of the past needed this gift to be more confident.

To believe in you.

For when you were just born,

You were filled with so much confidence.

So much determination and self-belief.

You know,

It took great confidence to learn to walk when you were a baby.

And each time you fell down,

You got right back up.

Because you believed in you.

You were determined.

And you did it.

And you even did more.

You learned to run.

To jump.

To sing.

To read.

To draw.

To dream.

It even took confidence to make new friends.

To stand up for yourself or others.

So that confidence,

It's always been there.

You simply forgot.

You've always been a confident person.

All along.

And so now,

You do more.

You speak more.

You live more.

And ever before,

You no longer hold yourself back.

And you no longer allow someone else's ideas or ways of thinking to hold you back.

And you now realize,

With compassion and understanding,

That every face is a mask.

And behind every mask,

There are issues.

The people with the biggest issues speak out and act out the most.

It has nothing to do with you.

It's their insecurity and lack of confidence that allows them to act the way they do.

And so you see past it.

You see through it.

You are the quiet observer of life and people.

And you know when to avoid those people when they have issues.

You simply step back or walk away.

Just observing and allowing the moment to pass.

Remaining confident and secure in yourself.

And finding that you are now being drawn towards more confident and secure people who support you,

Who see you,

Who understand you.

And those confident and secure people are kind and understanding.

And so you really believe in you.

You are kind to you.

You.

You notice that you are happier with each passing day.

And life is getting easier and easier as you let all the little things go.

And you just go with the flow of this deep relaxation.

As you simply float.

Breathe and be.

And your mind so blank.

As you articulate all of my words.

Grabbing hold of all these words.

And they flow through you now.

Softly.

And so supportive.

And you reflect on all these words.

Soaking them up.

And you let them seep into yourselves.

For you do listen.

You do observe.

And you take it all in.

Moment to moment.

And all this confidence softly settles to way down.

Forming a structure.

Becoming like concrete.

So solid.

So secure.

And you're okay.

Everything's gonna be okay.

You can float.

Light and free.

That's right.

And now be quiet.

And you can enjoy the music for the remainder of your floating experience.

Enjoy this gift of deep relaxation.

And you.

And the sun.

And the water.
