Anxiety can be so crippling and scary. In this recording, I do not use music, but the sound of breathing and the heartbeat. This allows you to match your breathing and heart rate, while gradually slowing it down. I also teach you how you can use water to release the gripping anxiety. After listening to this recording, you should feel calm, relaxed and supported.

Hello.

I'd like for you to take this moment to either sit back or lie down.

Take this moment for you to breathe in deeply into the body.

Get grounded within the body as if you were sitting on a strong wooden stump.

Feel the strength,

The solidness.

If your mind is chattering,

Just let those words float on by.

Slowing down the breath.

Feeling the heartbeat.

Letting your belly soften and receive the breath of life.

And if you are noticing any tension,

Restlessness or uneasiness,

Breathe into it and let it go.

You don't need it.

It no longer serves you,

So you no longer serve it.

You no longer give it power or control.

Just for this moment,

Perhaps,

You let it go.

You let it shift,

Soften,

Loosen its grip and hold on you.

And then imagine before you a body of water,

Like a lake perhaps,

Or even a cup of water.

Notice how the water is so calm,

Smooth as glass.

Our bodies are made up of water.

And so in your mind,

Say to yourself,

I am calm water.

I am calm water.

I am calm water.

Notice how the breathing slows down.

The heartbeat slows down.

I am calm water.

Let yourself become the essence of calm water.

Let it unfold moment to moment.

The feeling of calmness.

To just let everything go in this moment.

The thoughts erased.

The anxiety erased.

The chatter and the voice erased.

I am calm water.

I am calm water.

Each feeling dissolves away.

Each thought fades into nothingness.

A solid state of calm water.

Breath slow and smooth.

Heartbeat slow and steady.

I am calm water.

I am calm water.

Take this calm water within.

Become it.

Embrace it.

Welcome it in.

You are okay.

Whatever you are facing is only temporary.

For everything changes.

And in this moment,

You are okay.

Just receive these words.

I am calm water.

Stay with that.

Float with that.

Belly breathing.

Body relaxing.

I am calm water.

That's it.

You are okay.

I got you.

I am here for you.

You are okay.

You have a friend.

And you are okay.

I am calm water.

And everything slows down.

That's it.

In a moment,

Everything slows down.

Everything melts and fades away.

And so as you go throughout your day,

I want you to stop and just check in with you.

And if you need to,

Just imagine the water.

Even stare at a glass of water.

And affirm to yourself,

I am calm water.

I am calm water.

I am calm water.

Just slow everything down.

Giving back to you.

Because you matter.

You are important.

And you are okay.

You are perfectly okay.

And I got you.

I am here for you.

You have a friend.

That's it.

Just let yourself be.

Receiving.

Allowing.

Observing.

Letting things come.

And letting things go.

Just let yourself be.

And did so.

And so as you go throughout your day,

I want you to stop and just check in with you.
