Some days are challenging. Some weeks are challenging. Some moments are challenging. But one challenging moment does not need to create another challenging moment. This meditation reminds us that yesterday is not today. Every moment is brand new. This moment is all that is. Be right here, right now.

Some days are tough.

Some moments are tough.

But every moment is a brand new moment.

Every day is a brand new day.

You have not seen this day before.

So this meditation is to remind you that yesterday is not today.

That the moment that just passed is not the moment that is here right now.

What is here right now is now.

And that is all we have.

So start out in whatever position you feel called to meditate in today.

Maybe that's sitting in a chair,

Sitting on the ground,

Sitting up tall,

Leaning against a wall,

Lying down on your bed,

Lying down on the floor with your legs up the wall.

Wherever feels right for you at this moment.

Be here now.

Be here now.

Close your eyes and close your mouth and breathe softly through your nose.

We're going to start by clearing out everything from the past.

We're going to use a purple tornado.

And that tornado is currently spinning right above your head.

It's going to go down into your head and travel throughout your body.

And as it spins,

It's like a giant magnet and it picks up everything from the past,

Everything that isn't serving you,

Everything that is keeping you from being present.

All of the energy that you've picked up throughout your day,

Throughout the last few moments,

If it's not yours,

It's going in the tornado.

If it's not serving you,

It's going in the tornado.

And just let that tornado flow through the top of your head.

As it spins,

It feels gentle.

As it goes in through your neck,

Your throat,

Through your chest,

As it goes down your arms to your fingertips,

As it drops into your belly,

And then into your hips and into your legs,

And into your legs,

And all the way down to your feet and goes out through the tips of your toes.

And here you are,

Here,

Here in your energy.

Now let's get grounded in your energy.

Notice the points in your body that are touching the ground or the surface beneath you.

Feel the weight in your body.

Feel that connection with something that is bigger than you.

Like a frog sitting on a lily pad,

This is what is supporting you right now.

Allow it to support you.

Allow yourself to be where your body is,

To be where your feet are,

To be where your butt is,

Right here,

Right now.

You have nothing else to do.

You have nowhere else to go.

Your job is to be right here,

Right now.

This moment right now,

This is all that exists.

This is all that is.

This is all that is.

Be in it.

It is safe to be radically present.

You are exactly where you're supposed to be right now.

You are exactly where you're supposed to be right now.

You have no idea what's going to happen next.

Sure,

There may be trends,

There may be patterns,

And the truth is you've never read this book before.

You've never watched this show before.

You have never experienced this day before.

You have never experienced this moment before.

It is brand new and filled with potential.

Feel the freedom in that.

You have no idea what's going to happen.

It is not your job to predict the future.

It is your job to be right here,

Right now.

It is your job to wonder what might happen next.

It is your not your job to skip ahead and read the last page.

It is your job to feel the joy of discovery,

To lean into the wonder and the magic of it all,

To feel the wild roller coaster of having no idea what's coming next.

The freedom of letting go,

The freedom of being radically present,

Radically present,

The freedom of being right here,

Right now.

Thank you.

And when you feel ready,

Let's close this practice with gratitude.

Thank you for this brand new moment.

I've never seen this one before.

May your day,

May your moments be filled with wonder and awe.

May your life be filled with love and joy and ease and play and magic and miracles.
