
Saying No

This is an active practice using Modern Energy tapping points to release blocks or fears of saying "No" when you need to. It is great for anyone who fears conflict or upsetting someone and ends up compromising themselves. When we do this, our energy body takes a big hit and we teach ourselves the lesson that we do not love ourselves.

Hi there,
It's Kelly here.
And today I want to share with you a mindful tapping,
Active meditation for respecting your boundaries,
For being able to say no sometimes when it's necessary and for recognising how not to betray yourself.
So we're going to just start off by getting nice and comfortable,
Finding a nice straight spine,
Relaxing your shoulders down and closing your eyes.
Just take a few breaths in and out and allow yourself to become fully present,
Bringing all your focus into the body.
Allowing each out breath to help you relax a little bit more.
And then gently placing your hands one over the other over the heart centre space.
And we're going to take a few more breaths here,
Allowing your out breath to be slightly longer than your in breath.
And just now affirming to yourself that you're ready to do some work on allowing yourself to have good boundaries that increase your own respect for yourself and your self worth.
You feel the type of person that ever finds yourself doing things that you know really in your heart,
It's either not good for you or it's something you feel obliged to do because you don't want to have some conflict with another person or hurt their feelings.
This is a perfect tapping round for you.
So we're going to be using the mindful tapping points which originally stems from modern energy tapping.
And we're going to make a start now by taking one of your hands and just very gently and lightly tapping the top of your head right on the crown.
And we're going to say I release anything that stops me being able to say no when I need to.
Now take a nice breath in and out.
And now gently bring that hand down and start tapping in the middle of the forehead,
Your third eye point.
Safe for me to release any beliefs that cause me to betray myself.
Nice breath in and out.
Gently moving the hand down and now just using one or two fingers on the very corner of your eyebrow,
Top of the eyebrow point nearest to your nose.
I release any beliefs that cause me to find it difficult to say no when I need to.
Nice breath in and out.
Now just slide your finger all the way along your eyebrow and down to the corner outside edge of your eye.
It's safe for me to release these beliefs now and look after my own boundaries.
Nice breath in all the way out.
Now as we come down under the eye we're going to tap on the eye bone directly underneath where your pupil would be if you were looking straight ahead.
I now release any societal conditioning that impacts my ability to say no when I need to.
Nice breath in and out.
Now we're moving down to just under the nose and above the top lip,
Right in the centre.
I release any need in me to people please that causes me to betray myself and my own health and energy.
Nice breath in and then all the way out,
Releasing that energy on the out breath.
We now move the finger down to the right centre of the chin tapping lightly and rhythmically with a sense of love.
I respect myself and I respect my boundaries and I listen to the inner voice.
I release any fear of saying no.
Nice breath in and out.
Now we're coming down to tap on the collarbone and we're looking for the nodule at the end of the collarbone.
We have one either side.
You can tap with a few fingers here and that will make sure that you're definitely tapping on the right acupressure point.
It's the K27 point.
I release anything that inhibits me from being able to speak my truth with confidence and clarity.
Nice breath in and out.
Now we're going to come down and we're going to tap on the hands.
We're looking at the thumbnail and we're tapping the very base of the thumbnail on the outside edge.
It's safe for me to speak my truth,
Have good boundaries and respect myself.
Nice breath in and out.
Now we're just moving on to the first finger and we're tapping the same point on the base of the nail bed on the outside edge.
I now focus on being able to say no when I need to,
Of not feeling that I owe anybody anything and keeping my boundaries healthy.
Nice breath in and out.
Moving on to your middle finger now.
It's safe for me to have good boundaries.
It's safe for me to release any fears of rejection by speaking my truth.
Nice breath in and out.
Now we're moving on to the ring finger,
Base of the nail bed on the outside edge.
I speak my truth clearly and compassionately and this builds my self-worth.
Nice breath in and out.
Then gently moving on to your little finger.
I now focus on loving and respecting myself.
I find it easy to say no to things that I know aren't good for me or when I'm people pleasing for the wrong reasons.
Nice breath in and out and now we're coming to our final point which is called the karate chop point and it's just like a karate chop movement and it's on the back edge of the outside of the hand.
I'm now focused on feeling confident,
On loving myself and looking after my needs and I give myself full permission to embody this now.
Good and then a nice breath in and out.
Now we're going to bring the hands back over the heart and we're going to take some more nice breaths in and out.
I want you to visualise yourself in a very relaxing place.
It's very beautiful and just by visualising yourself there you can feel healing happening.
Now imagine as you stand in this place you've now become aware that you are carrying around a very heavy rucksack and within it were all the burdens,
All the conditioning,
All the beliefs,
All the assumptions that made it hard for you to say no sometimes.
You're taking that bag off now in this safe space and allowing yourself to be free of it.
You walk away from the bag feeling much lighter,
Freer,
Stronger and having more respect for yourself.
And as you walk away you notice the bag is shrinking and shrivelling,
Losing all its power now that you're not attached to it anymore.
You look back once more to see it dissolve completely.
Now go find yourself a place to rest and relax in this beautiful relaxing place of your mind.
Notice if there's any energy you would like to give yourself today that can be anything,
Could be happiness,
Vitality,
Radiance,
Love,
Respect,
Self-worth,
Peace,
Whatever you'd like as you sit in this relaxing place feel the energy coming to you now summons it in with your mind and see it arriving like a beautiful bubble of light.
It comes closer and closer with each breath in that you take and then with each out breath you start to flow it through your energy body.
Enjoy the sensations of breathing this new energy in.
See yourself glowing with this new light and then see it surrounding you too.
And now see it spreading out ahead into your day creating a beautiful pathway of light for you.
If there's any conversations that you know you need to have that you've been worried about being able to say no or speak your truth practice them now with light around you.
Feel that wonderful energy supporting you.
That's right.
Now from your relaxing place give yourself a hug.
Thank yourself for doing this work today.
And then when you're ready just relaxing your hands down having a little move your shoulders gently moving your head from left to right and then opening your eyes.

Good pace and good message for taking care of yourself. Boundaries are important without being reactive or defensive.
