A good and relaxed approach to social media is crucial in order to take advantage of the positive aspects without being affected by the potential risks.

Here are some specific tips.

Avoid constantly looking at your smartphone or other devices.

Consciously schedule breaks where you completely switch off from social media.

Reduce the number of notifications you receive to minimize distractions.
