How to find your optimal personal morning routine.
Everybody is talking about morning routines.
Anyone who is successful or thinks he or she might be has one.
But there is also a danger that goes within.
If you take over something without reflecting,
There is a danger that you will be disappointed quite quickly.
The idea behind the morning routine is simple.
The way we start the day,
The way we start the day is the same as the rest of the day.
If we start super stressed in the morning,
Somehow pouring the coffee on the way to work,
Then the day often continues stressed.
If we start super lazy and don't get going at all,
Then the probability is quite high that things will go on like this.
If the day starts productive,
It often continues to be productive.
Observe yourself.
Do you manage to motivate yourself again to activate activities after a cozy morning mood?
So the morning routine principle makes sense.
But there are a lot of components of a morning routine.
So which of them should you actually do?
Let's first take a look at the classic components of a morning routine.
First of all,
Usually the most frequently heard recommendation is to drink water as the first action of the day.
This makes sense because the body loses water overnight and dehydrates.
You can compensate this the next morning and replenish the fluid reservoir.
Second,
Further component of a morning routine is meditation.
Advantages of meditation are obvious.
In some morning routines one also finds visualization and affirmations.
So take your time to visualize your life,
Your goals,
And yourself in the future.
Imagine at the beginning of the day how the day goes super productive and full of success as you wish.
Also,
An option for a morning routine can be found in writing.
Writing can be very meaningful.
Writing has many advantages.
For example,
Gratitude diaries,
A morning journal,
Or your own book.
Also,
An option for a morning routine is reading.
Many advantages go within reading.
For many,
Reading is something they would like to do,
But they unfortunately have no time for it.
Or it is not easy for them to manage the time for reading.
That is why the morning is perfect for reading at least 10 minutes or 10 pages.
In almost all morning routines,
Exercise is recommended at the beginning of the day.
This also makes sense in order to get your body going and to start with more well-being.
Also,
An option for a morning routine could be a healthy and balanced breakfast,
Especially for those who don't take their time otherwise to live a healthy life and eat a healthy diet.
Another option for a morning routine could be work as a fixed component.
Work immediately in the morning.
For example,
Emails,
Which I wouldn't suggest in that moment,
But that can be varying according to your preferences.
Some people think that it makes sense to work on an important project for an hour directly after getting up and then take a shower,
Do sports and start a regular day.
So that is quite a lot as you can see and there's certainly much more as you could imagine.
It certainly doesn't make sense to do everything,
Nor is it practical to do everything.
It's also possible that there is no routine for your personal wishes and needs.
That's why it makes sense that you look at yourself.
What does make sense to me personally?
Basically,
You should ask yourself whether the morning routine meets three criteria.
Is it motivating for me?
Is it feasible for me?
And is it useful for me?
So therefore the very first question you should ask yourself is,
What is your personal goal you're trying to achieve with the morning routine?
Is it more time for you?
Is it a healthier life?
Or is it to be more productive?
Or to create more?
The first option,
More time for you.
If you work all day and are basically busy with completely different things,
Then it can be very useful to reserve the morning for your personal development.
Good parts of your morning routine could be,
For example,
Drinking water.
This is important for everyone and no matter what goal.
The second is meditation.
The third is visualization.
The fourth is writing a gratitude journal or a letter.
And reading.
So again,
Of course,
You don't have to do everything that is mentioned.
If,
For example,
You do not like to read or if,
For example,
You prefer to lie in a bed in the evening and read,
Then just do that.
The points are arranged in such a way that it could be useful to take the time to calm your thoughts.
Time can also be used to reflect your life and goals.
To write down these goals also once clearly.
So it is important that you do not lose sight of yourself while working eight hours for others or also working for your children or others.
The second option,
You want to live healthier.
So you want to live healthier but your everyday life doesn't allow that somehow.
Take the wheel.
You are not the victim of your habits,
Even if they have already become deeply ingrained in your routine.
You may change your orientation at any time.
For example,
Through the following elements of the morning routine.
First,
Drinking water.
Second is meditation.
Third is movement.
And the fourth is a healthy breakfast.
In this way you start the day healthy with the body and your mind.
You take your time in the morning for exercise,
A sports session and a balanced breakfast.
In this way you start a day healthy with your body and mind.
You take your time in the morning for exercise,
A sports session and a balanced breakfast.
This has the big advantage that if you come home exhausted and have already eaten healthy,
You'll most likely stick to it,
While the probability is higher that you ask yourself unconsciously why should I eat healthy now when you already had such an unhealthy breakfast.
So these actions become a habit and you will find them easier in the future.
Of course you can adapt everything to your needs here as well.
A walk or yoga can also be a good option.
It doesn't have to be interval training.
Find your solution and orient yourself towards your goals.
Third option,
Work more productively and create more.
If you currently have a project that you want to pursue but don't get it in your everyday life,
Then the morning is ideal for prioritizing these goals right at the beginning of the day.
Finish a project and for example write a book.
This is a meaningful option.
This is the so-called silent hour and it is worth it.
You will see that it makes sense to just do the meaningful task in the beginning,
Because this time is reserved just for this task and doesn't have to be found in another time slot during the day.
So for this goal the recommendation is to drink water as in all other goals,
To start with a visualization,
With meditation and breakfast.
You can use meditation to calm down your thoughts and focus on your future goals.
You can use visualization to imagine how you have already successfully completed your upcoming tasks.
Then after that it is time to get to work.
At the best before everyone else gets up.
Work,
Make yourself a breakfast and then go to your regular day.
Then it goes on.
So these were three suggestions for your optimal personal morning routine.
I hope you enjoyed it.
As already mentioned you can still adapt and coordinate the suggestions among other and find your personal solution.
Especially by having your own goal in mind,
Which you want to achieve with your morning routine.
Feel free to write comments which option of the morning routine you prefer.
I'll be happy if you do so.
Have a good day and see you soon!

Thank you, thoughtful insight. I like to start my day with a few deep breaths, then sit up, give myself a hug & with a smile say, βGood morning, I love you.β Felt silly at 1st, but nowadays I enjoy the positivity. After a gentle stretch, I get up, freshen up, drink water & then listen to soothing meditation music while envisioning goals, self- reflect, & enjoy my coffee. Next I meditate & then a strength/stretch routine. Finally a healthy breakfast & whatever the day brings. I like to read, journal & make To Do lists at night. β¨β€οΈπ

Excellent spot on. You listed my exact routine. First thing is always drink water. I cannot begin my day without meditation. It calms my mind & is a must for productive well-being day. Then I have collagen peptides w/coffee. After a daily morning workout I drink more water & eat organic healthy small breakfast that further aids a positive productive mindset. Some mornings I journal when time. ππΌπππΌ
