Welcome into this safe and cozy,

Amazing,

Beautiful,

Restful space.

This space is for your deep relaxation and we'll go on a beautiful journey together.

I'm super looking forward to spending time delivering these words in my voice,

Just especially for you.

So,

First to set the table,

Or I guess to unmake the bed,

We will do three simple things together.

That's it.

So we'll breathe together,

We'll imagine together,

And then we'll rest together.

So how's that sound?

I invite you to make yourself at home.

Comfort is essential here,

So comfortable,

Restful,

You're welcome to please lie down.

And take your time to get really comfortable.

So let's just stretch out a moment.

We'll just stretch the body long and reach the arms away from your head.

And I'm doing it too with you,

I'm pointing the toes,

Lengthening the legs,

Reaching and stretching the arms long.

Take a full deep breath in and then let it out.

Together again,

Stretch the whole body,

Extend the limbs.

And this time we'll add a sigh after we breathe in.

So first stretch out,

Point the toes,

Lengthen the legs,

Take a deep breath in,

And then just sigh and exhale out.

One more time,

The biggest stretch you've done all day.

Lengthen and reach,

Feel that sense of extension.

Deep breath in,

And then,

Ah,

Feels better.

Now we'll find a restful position here.

Let's just fully arrive here together with one another in our shared cozy space.

Just taking a moment for space here,

Space from words for a moment.

So now as we start to relax further,

Now that we've stretched,

Let's take several deep breaths together.

So deep breath in to your chest,

No need to stretch or move,

Just notice the body breathing.

And on the exhale,

Just let the breath leave the body,

Sort of ebbing back,

Being pulled back down.

And you'll breathe in and feel the fresh air,

Move and inflate the lungs,

Feel the rib cage expand,

Feel the breath high in the chest.

And then breathe out as you feel your body relax more.

Breathe in,

And this time noticing the expansion through those intercostal muscles,

The ones that connect and are in between the ribs.

Feel that expansion,

Feel the diaphragm lift,

Take the breath in.

And let the breath out through your nose.

Another breath in,

And this time we'll focusing on softening.

So a soft breath in,

And just soften your jaw and your forehead as you breathe out.

So again,

Softer this time,

Not as full,

Not as big.

And just relax,

Breath out.

Two more like that.

And one more focused breath where you're aware,

Fully conscious of the breath and how it feels.

But of course,

Feel free to take more deep breaths whenever you want.

When you feel ready to relax the effort of the breath,

Let's just naturally breathe and shift our focus.

So focus is shifting,

Not worried about breathing any sort of way,

Focus shifting to sensing and feeling.

Start to notice and feel the weight of your body against the fabric that you're wearing and the furniture underneath of you.

So notice the contact points of your skin against the fabric that you're wearing.

Notice the feel of the texture of the fabric against your skin.

What does that actually feel like for you?

Notice various points of your body and how the skin to fabric contact feels.

Maybe you can sense the fabric feels under the legs.

Different from the fabric under your back.

Different from the fabric across the chest and the front of the thighs.

So now notice a wider grid of perception of the full fabric you're wearing against your skin.

Just resting here.

Now move beyond the fabric to your physical form,

Your body,

And sense the contact points of your body against the support under and around you.

So same thing as we did with the fabric.

We'll notice the contact points of your body with whatever's underneath of you.

So sense into the joints,

So specifically around the ankles and the heel,

Around the knees,

The backs of the thighs,

The hips,

The middle of your back,

The shoulders,

The hands,

The back of your head.

So see if you're able to notice the several contact points of your body against the support or bed that you're laying upon.

So your mind is noticing now the feeling and the weight of the arms and the legs and the body against that support and rest into that a little more.

See if you're able to notice several contact points all at once,

All of those points.

So you're noticing where there is more heaviness.

And now we'll just soften around those edges so that the total body feels more restful.

Feel your spine lengthen away from your root all the way up the spine.

Soften the shoulders a bit more and just observe your natural breath here in and out.

Fully aware of the sensations of your body.

We're listening and tuning in and softening together.

Especially pay attention up toward the top of the head,

The back of the head,

The neck,

The shoulders,

See if there's any residual tension or holding or bracing away from the support that's fully got you.

And just soften around those edges.

Feel the hands soften the fingers might gently curl up toward the ceiling.

Any tension across the chest or the front of the face,

Jaw,

The brow,

The upper palate of the mouth,

All of that just softening more and more.

And I'll invite you to close your eyes if they're not already closed.

With eyes closed you might be able to focus on the intonation of the voice that you're hearing and the sound.

So now we'll transition from the breathing and the sensing and feeling.

Let's deepen this very restful soft state with your imagination and tune in as we visualize together.

Keeping the body in this very relaxed state,

Just visualizing what I'm about to illustrate now.

So no need to shift or change or breathe a certain way.

You're just simply listening to the intonation,

The tone,

The voice and the sound.

Just imagine that we're walking down a jungle path.

Just went on a long beach stroll in the sun was pretty hot in the open space where it wasn't jungly.

Had a full day and now our bodies are tired.

We both feel ready for a nap.

So we walk the path and continue to descend into the jungle.

Feet are sandy,

Skin feels hot.

Just walking together.

Steps are getting a little heavier,

Legs feel heavy.

There's no one else in sight,

It's just us.

Not even speaking,

Just know we both need a nap.

We've been staying at the most gorgeous treehouse that we've ever seen.

We've just come from a long day at the beach.

There's not a property or a person or a place in the vicinity at all.

It's just us,

Just our own oasis.

The treehouse comes into sight.

And we're so glad that it's right there,

Both feeling very tired.

We help each other climb up.

All the way up into the treehouse.

The main focus in the treehouse,

The only thing in there,

Furniture-wise,

Is a bed.

And this bed is asking for company.

It's lush,

It's got all these pillows,

It's got clean fabric.

It's just a massive bed in a treehouse in the middle of a jungle.

It's the most comfortable bed that we've ever been on.

We set our backs down,

Take our shoes off,

And start to climb into the bed.

We take a deep breath and just feel that sensation of being so glad that we made it to the summit,

To the jungle bed.

It feels so relieving.

So we've just arranged ourselves where we can lay on our backs.

And imagine we're laying on our backs in the most comfortable bed in the middle of the jungle.

And you know what?

There's no bugs in sight.

They're not even near us.

There's no bugs here.

It's the perfect temperature out now in the jungle.

There's not a breeze because the temperature is perfect for a nap.

We are in an absolutely comfortable temperature.

Our body is getting cooler.

It's the best temperature we've ever felt,

In fact.

So as we lie back,

We just take a moment and we look up.

And we can see the clouds through the silhouettes of the trees.

There's a density to the jungle,

But there's still outlines of the clouds.

And we both notice the same things at the same time.

We see the clouds moving above us really slowly across the canvas of the blue sky.

So we can see the wild jungle branches and the roots and the palms.

Our eyes are taking it all in.

We keep the same body position lying on the bed,

Feeling heavier and heavier.

And we're just enjoying this beautiful landscape together.

So our eyes are tracing the lines of the trees and the leaves.

Our eyes can see not only the trees and the silhouettes,

But also the clouds and this interplay of the colors of green and yellow and white and blue.

Our eyes continue to trace around the landscape.

It's very lush.

Our senses feel enlivened.

We can feel the sun rays.

Just a few of them grazing across our face and body,

We feel so calm and super relaxed.

We have no concerns,

No time or pressure,

Nowhere to be but here.

And we like it here,

Relaxing together in the jungle far away from anyone or anything.

It's sort of a dreamlike state.

We don't need to do anything at all but relax and rest.

Notice the soundscape.

It's beautiful.

We almost have to listen so closely and quiet,

Even the sound of our own breath,

To hear the faint bird song.

So we listen and hear a faint sound of birds with their beautiful songs in the jungle.

We feel astounded at the natural beauty of the faint bird song of the lush landscape of the blue sky of each other's company.

It's almost hard to take it all in.

We hear and sense and feel so many different things at the same time that are beautiful.

We both continue to relax,

Feeling any tension just keep melting away.

So that we're both calm,

Relaxed,

Stress free,

Not a single care in the world.

All that matters is gently relaxing here now,

Gently enjoying the warm sunshine,

The faint sounds of the jungle,

And this welcome shared space together.

We hear each other take one last deep breath and feel ourselves falling into a deeper state of relaxation.

Into the land of jungle slumber,

Both supremely calm,

Very safe,

Very peaceful.

You hear me sigh as I turn on my side and I fall asleep.

You feel more pulled into relaxation,

As you start to drift off to.

So now you're sure you're so relaxed,

Almost asleep.

The magnitude of relaxation is growing for you.

Feel your toes relax.

Feel the whole top of the foot and the bottom of the foot relax.

A softness around your ankles,

Calves,

The front of your shins even feel relaxed.

There's no tension in your knees,

The thighs,

The hips,

The sides of the legs.

So everything leg down is completely relaxed.

Feel a softening across front of hip,

The glutes,

Everything from hip down is very relaxed and soft.

The front of the belly is relaxed,

The low back has plenty of space,

The chest is relaxed,

The back body.

So everything from belly down is now fully super relaxed.

Shoulders heavy,

The weight of the arms sinking deep,

Elbows,

Wrists,

Fingers,

Super relaxed.

Everything now from neck down is very restful.

The back of the head,

Any tension in the jaw,

Super relaxed,

Front of the face,

Across the eyes,

The forehead,

All the way to the top of the head.

So now you feel full relaxation through your whole body.

So now you're fully fully relaxed in your physical body and you start to drift off into a deep jungle slumber.

Completely safe,

Restful,

Relaxed sleep.

Now you're drifting off to sleep.
