Welcome.

My name is Kim from Mindfulness Manor and I'm here to be your guide through our meditation today.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale through your mouth and repeat this step one more time.

As you settle in allow your body to soften and your shoulders to drop and allow your mind to arrive fully in this moment.

Life is full of unfinished chapters,

Conversations which are left unsaid,

Doors left slightly open and stories we thought would have a different ending.

Today we are not here to force closure but we are here to find peace in the unfolding.

I invite you to take another deep breath in and exhale letting go any need to control what's unfinished.

Feel the support beneath you holding you steady and notice the natural rhythm of your breath constant and effortless.

With every inhale invite acceptance and with every exhale release resistance.

And while we are grounded and open I'd like to invite you to bring to mind a situation in your life which feels unresolved,

The reason you turned to this meditation.

It could be a relationship,

A decision or a life path that took an unexpected turn.

Whatever arises simply notice it without judgment and no need or urge to fix it just pure awareness.

Imagine holding this unfinished chapter in your hands like an open book.

See the words of the story,

The spaces and notice where the ending hasn't yet been written.

Notice how it feels to hold this uncertainty.

What's coming up for you?

Is there tension?

Is there longing to rewrite what's already happened or is there a desire to skip ahead to the ending?

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale imagine loosening your grip.

Not dropping the book,

Not closing it,

Just holding it more lightly,

More gentle.

You don't need all the answers right now,

You are allowed to rest in the unknown.

In the space of the unknown yet still being grounded and anchored we're beginning to trust the flow of life and you walk with your book to a river flowing before you carrying pages of unfinished stories which could be yours,

Others and life itself.

Some pages float gently and some are carried away by the current.

There is no rush,

No force,

Only movement.

This is the flow of life.

We are not meant to hold on to every page forever.

Some stories will find their endings in time,

Others may remain open and that is okay.

Trust that what needs to unfold and it will do so in its own perfect rhythm.

You feel a lightness and you take another deep breath in and as you exhale allow this lightness and peace to settle in your heart.

You don't need to have it all figured out.

The beauty of life is that it is still being written.

You feel the warmness covering your body and when you are ready gently bring awareness back to the space around you.

Stretching your arms out above your head and giving a big sigh of relief.

While you open your eyes and know that you are here,

Whole,

Complete even in the midst of the unfinished stories.
