Today's meditation,
For me,
The word relief came up a lot in the last few days.
We're seeking relief from the pain and the suffering.
For some of us,
It's been a lifetime.
It's been many lifetimes.
Our family heritage.
And for some of us,
We are awakening to this reality.
There's no competition.
There's no right or wrong in the way you're feeling.
If you're waking up to it,
Then you're doing the work.
And stay with it.
And breathe through everything that's coming up for you right now.
So we'll take some deep breaths with intention of grounding our meditation.
Grounding this practice.
Closing your eyes when you're ready.
Three big deep breaths,
Inviting the belly to open and release.
Feeling it in the back of your body,
Along the spine.
And breathing deep,
Opening up the chest.
Inviting this present moment to hold you.
Inviting yourself to take a pause.
Take a pause from the thoughts,
The feelings that have been rushing through you at full speed.
Our bodies demand rest.
Let's give that fully.
So that we can return to our actions and our processing and making the changes that are necessary.
Asking for and welcoming in relief.
This does not hide from you.
It does not need to be found outside of you.
Returning to yourself.
Finding quiet.
It can be simple if you allow it.
In whatever situation you are,
In whatever position you are,
Release into yourself into this moment.
Feel the relief flooding into your body.
When you accept this moment.
Just as it is.
Recognizing your full potential is here right now.
Sit back and feel the relief washing over your body.
When you surrender.
I surrender to yourself.
I surrender to your purpose.
Understanding that you can change yourself and be an example to others.
And invite them to also change themselves.
Rooting in love.
Rooting in connection.
Rooting in respect.
Surrendering to this present moment.
And feeling the relief.
Freeing your body.
Unclenching what has been tightened within you.
Loosening your heart.
Loosening your belly.
Loosening your jaw.
Opening your heart.
Opening your mind.
Opening your hands.
And giving.
Feeling the sweet connection.
And feeling this connection to the present moment.
Stay here as long as you like.
When you're ready.
Come back slowly.
Give gentle movements to your fingers and your toes.
Roll the head around.
Relax the whole body.
I invite you when you return to your day to drink a big glass of water.
Wash your hands.
Do something that connects you to water.
Fresh air.
Do something that connects you to a sense of relief physically.
Just to further this feeling and to carry it into your day.
And repeat that ritual whenever you need relief or just overwhelmed with thoughts,
Feelings,
Tasks.
Just remember that this is here for you.
Namaste.
