Healing Our 3rd Chakra: Chakra 3.0 Series
by Katrina Bos
What can we do to figure out why we are here? How do we sort out the ideas that we've internalized from others and understand our personal journey? Let's explore how to build our 3rd chakras from our perfection within so that we can easily digest the world around us and really enjoy our lives.
Transcript
So today we're continuing our chakra 3.
0 series and We're talking about the third chakra and physically if you look at this This is a spot a couple inches above the navel It's sort of your diaphragm your solar plexus this like mmm part of us this core part of our being and if you're new to the Chakra series This has come off of the chakra 2.
0 series,
Which you can also listen to and it talks all about We often think of the chakras in their negative Manifestation You know when we learn about the chakras we say ah my third chakra.
It's blocked because I have no sense of self and I'd have no conviction in life and I've poor digestion and I have all these issues and so we often define it like this and I believe that it's because the world has been so dysfunctional So when I was teaching in my last yoga teacher training last year I was sort of it was really interesting because I had to document all of My understandings about yoga and philosophy and and meditation I had to document on video because it was all online and as I was wanting to talk about the chakras I realized that something wasn't quite right with what we believed about them and I believe that it's not that what we've been taught about them was wrong It's that we needed the lens of the consciousness of 2020 2021 and now 2022 Because we're actually capable of seeing the world differently now,
At least this is my experience.
It's it's a radical time Where all of a sudden these ideas that were once accepted even 10 years ago 20 years ago 50 years ago We wake up and we look at these ideas and we say But that's not true That's not actually reality Whereas ten years ago.
We might not have even questioned them.
We would have just accepted it as This is just normal and This is this curious consciousness And so one of the things that came to me it actually came from another teacher That there are actually these two worlds living at the same time that we're living in the world of light and the shadow world and the world of light if you imagine these chakras inside of us That the chakras belong to that world of light the chakras themselves are not blocked They're not damaged.
There's nothing wrong with them.
And this is really important to know especially as we go on a healing journey Because if I believe that my third chakra is somehow damaged I Internalize the idea that I am damaged that there is something wrong with me and So then that I think oh,
Well,
I've got to fix me There's something like it's almost like I have to go into my pancreas and actually sort out what's wrong in my pancreas and the second part of that is because I think there's something wrong with me I Think it actually takes away my confidence to fix what's wrong Sort of like how can the broken break fix the broken?
I must need you to fix me because you aren't the broken Because you aren't broken like I am So it's very disempowering When we imagine that from the very inside out there's something wrong with us So instead we just want to look at this whole talk and this whole series the chakra 2.
0 series and the chakra 3.
0 series We want to look at it under a very different with a different paradigm So instead imagine that your chakras are perfection Your chakras are this are these incredibly divine?
Whirling energy vortices and They are perfection which means you are perfection You as you are you are perfect But then there is this crazy world we live in and this teacher Cindy Dale she said Cynthia Dale she called it the shadow world and the shadow world is full of darkness and meanness and separation and cruelty and Not to be all negative about it,
But to be realistic about it a Lot of the things that we suffer with and struggle with in life is because we've been poorly treated treated And we've been hurt We've been neglected We've been manipulated like this is a reality and to pretend that's not true You know to kind of have those rose-colored glasses that no no no that's not true I don't see that like it's even funny in the spiritual world.
We have this idea that You know the idea that the world if you see it in the world.
It's a reflection of your inner being First of all it's not true I don't think I think there are things for sure that if they jump out at you over and over and over again that Perhaps there's something in this for you to learn and listen to and be aware of that there are patterns that are repeating Can I can totally dig that?
But The world out there is dark,
And this is why it's a different paradigm There is a real darkness and sometimes we're raised by people Who weren't ready to have children?
We very easily internalize their perspective and their pain and their hurt and their lack of conviction and We believe it's ours so to really understand if we believe that those people say who raised us or our ancestors the people around us or our teachers or our bosses or our community if we think that they're all perfect and We are simply messed up because we don't fit in with them.
We're gonna have trouble but if we recognize that there is a real the world out there is guided by some very strange principles and That the idea of adapting to them You know there's that whole saying that being well adapted to a dysfunctional society is not a good thing So instead we recognize that okay.
There's this shadow world out there There's this divine perfection inside and in order for us to live here.
We had to develop an interface in the same way that If it's snowing and cold out we have to put on a sweater and a parka and gloves and boots But the parka isn't us.
It's just the interface between us and the world So this three point oh series is all about how do we look at that interface?
Per chakra so for example the third chakra in the light in this perfection our third chakra is Our assignment here every single one of us has a unique DNA sequence We each have a unique purpose we each have a unique thumbprint We each have a unique reason for being here and to not go crazy with this reason like we're all Messiahs like that's the danger as soon as I say what is our mission?
What is the reason we're here?
It's really easy like why do I don't know why I'm here.
I don't know I don't know because we're we're thinking too much like save the world stuff you might simply be here because You want to enjoy animals?
Or maybe you want to swim in the ocean or maybe you want to experience love or maybe you have a particular Set of beliefs that you're just simply exploring the world through it doesn't have to be this great big thing And that's what's really important that our unique perspective Perspective is just our unique perspective,
So this is our third chakra Our third chakra is what makes each one of us different?
And This is a good thing on the one hand we all live in this great singularity this great oneness this great divine wholeness But we also live in duality We live in very separate bodies in different places on the earth With very different missions with very different characteristics physically psychologically emotionally mentally and that uniqueness is our third chakra and It's really important,
And it's awesome Like if you take everybody that's here right now,
And you put us in a room the most exciting thing about us is our uniqueness You know there might be a common interest that brought us together,
But it's our uniqueness.
That's interesting This is the third chakra in the light ah It's like the the eternal I am The statement I am is so so so important So I am Katrina I am this Incarnation this is the third chakra But then we go out into the world and there's very curious ideas out there Like you're supposed to fit in you don't want to stand out You want there's this cookie cutter mentality?
That is deeply ingrained in our in most education systems in the world not all but most of the standardized public in public education Even think of that the standardized education system.
How do you take all of these unique beings and standardize them to Really understand how deeply this program goes inside of us to make sure our uniqueness isn't expanded So there's all of this training in the world that says don't be unique don't stand out don't shine don't do these things Fit in don't rock the boat.
Don't be honest.
Here's how you want to lie Just little white lies to keep everybody happy So we create an interface in between this perfection and we say oh okay,
So When I want to be honest about my truth,
I better not I better make sure what what do you think?
Hmm.
Okay,
You think something different?
Okay So now all of a sudden it's almost like we have this program that runs in the interface that although this is my idea I'm gonna run it through this program so that when I it comes out of my mouth It's digestible to you If it's not exactly my truth Well,
That's okay because it's worth it because I don't want to rock the boat and I want you to think I'm an easygoing person Right.
So we have these interfaces but the problem with the interfaces is That we are actually living our life our digestion Physically goes awry Eventually in our life we become depressed We become bored We become invisible We feel lonely because nobody knows us.
Nobody even knows who we are.
I remember when In 1999 I got I was sick and I'm repeating this just because there may be people here who?
Aren't in our normal time slot and I had breast lumps and my mom had died of breast cancer and all of her family all of the women and The men all died of heart attacks kind of the same area.
I Had a miraculous healing.
I met a man a teacher my first spiritual teacher who helped me really turn some big corners in my life and after I healed I Decided to write a book about it called.
What if you could skip the cancer and in my research about About for this book.
I discovered this psychologist named Rollo May one of his great teachings was That many many people live their lives Actually almost deleting this third chakra.
This isn't these aren't his words But we live for other people we take your thoughts and we say okay I will live according to your thoughts your belief systems I will live in the world that you have defined and I'll make it easy for you and I will serve you and I will help You and I will do all this but what happens is we disappear My third chakra disappears it actually doesn't even exist and Realize that as soon as one chakra disappears they all disappear And we're separating the chakras into seven chakras for the sake of our discussion But it isn't real.
There's no such thing All the chakras are actually one energy.
These are just the different facets of the diamond so if One chakra disappears like the third chakra you can also guarantee that your interactions in the second chakra aren't right and your Abundance in the first chakra isn't right and your ability to hear your guidance in the higher chakras isn't right either So this idea that well,
I'm just gonna simply live According to everybody else's belief systems that that's okay that I can survive this way.
It's okay.
It's just this one thing It's not just this one thing.
It's like pulling the plug on our entire life And Rolo May was speaking about this in the context of disease,
Which is why it was so interesting to me and What he said was for people especially for people who get certain kinds of cancer and again Many things are called cancer today,
Which is not the cancer that I'm talking about from 20 years ago 30 years ago But many people who had cancer at that time Often did this they deleted their third chakra and they just simply lived the life that made everyone else happy and That was certainly my story and what he said is People can go for counseling.
They can go for therapy.
They could have their breasts removed.
They can go for chemotherapy They can do all kinds of things they can do yoga.
They can change their life,
But if they don't have the I am moment None of it will work if you don't have that moment where you finally realize that I matter I matter this being this incarnation this DNA sequence this person until Until I realize that I matter None of the healing will work It's almost like you're doing all this stuff,
But it's just going through a sieve and it's just being lost It's all the books we've read and it all just disappears and we go on this training and disappears and we have this Beautiful treatment and it just disappears and nothing touches us Because we haven't found we haven't created a ground That we even exist That's what I felt like when I was sick.
I felt like this ghost That had all these arms and my arms were just simply serving everybody else they were keeping my husband happy and keeping my children happy and keeping my in-laws happy and Keeping the people at the school happy and keeping my family happy but I was irrelevant I was like a ghost in the machine and This is really really really important Because very often in the interface We're taught that you don't matter You should be selfless Your life is about serving others Your life is about making other people happy Your life is about fitting in Contribute to society by being one of the whole this is a deep training that's sitting in our interface and Interrupting our ability to actually be who we are And this is a really important thing this I am so some of the ways of healing this interface is To really look at these trainings these ideas So for example if you struggle with this sort of sense of self this power center this confidence Living in conviction living in your own conviction really being strong in it It's asking one question to ask is Do you believe that we are each meant to be unique individuals?
Really like are we meant to be unique and This includes all the people around you too Do you believe that we are actually supposed to have separate thoughts?
Different belief systems different goals in life Because the third chakra in its definition It's not just our sense of self.
It's also our thoughts We often think of our thoughts being in our brain But this area energetically is actually our connection to Divinity it's more our connection to the cosmos to infinity to listening for divine guidance It's more about the unseen world the third chakra is the set of beliefs ideas thoughts that We need for our mission So if you imagine that every single one of us is unique and we each have a different journey to take and one person is a marine biologist and one person is a trucker and one person has 12 children and one person is whatever Each person is gonna have a different set of thoughts a different set of belief systems that are gonna help them on their journey Because this is the book you need to have to go forward Do you believe That every person should have a unique book of thoughts So this is really important for a couple of reasons one if I believe I meant to be completely unique and normal Then it won't bother me that you don't understand my journey This is my perspective.
This is how I live and if you say to me,
Well,
How could you think that?
Why would you do that?
That doesn't make any sense?
You know,
Maybe it's worth a discussion or maybe it's not maybe it's just Well,
That's just how I see it Can we live that clearly within us to say?
Well,
That's just my set of belief systems That's these are just my thoughts You have out you you have your own thoughts.
These are my thoughts So it creates a real clarity inside of us that we get to live this life and we're supposed to live this life uniquely Like this is a very different thing.
It's not like i'm being a rebel I'm just going against you i'm supposed to have different thoughts Like this is this is by design and the second big part of this is that If i'm supposed to have a different set of thoughts and beliefs then so are you And so is everybody in our lives.
They're all supposed to have different sets of thoughts and beliefs So now imagine this Imagine the implications of truly believing that everyone on our lives Have a different set of thoughts and beliefs So suddenly we're raised by people the influences of our parents is not just the The influences of our parents is like,
You know,
It's something that we unpack for a long time in our lives good or bad So now you imagine that your parents Are different souls than you They have different ideas than you they have different belief systems than you We don't have to reconcile with them We don't have to believe what they believe and they don't have to believe what we believe And this is what I mean.
Like it's really important to really ask ourselves.
Do I really think this?
Do I really believe this do I really believe that they're meant to have different beliefs and and ideas than I am Or do I want them to believe the same things I do Do I want them to see the world the way I want to see because a lot of times we do want that as children And we always want love we always want connection we always want respect we always want that But what if our parents really are different Are we okay with that or deep down?
Do we believe that we're all supposed to believe the same thing?
And then what if one day we have a partner?
A spouse a lover a boyfriend a girlfriend Oftentimes we're attracted to this other person because they're different We recognize their uniqueness and we're attracted to it like magnets.
We're attracted to it But then we start getting together and some weird belief system comes in and says now We must have the same belief systems.
We must share Ideas about life we must share our life path ideas And this is where we kind of start to subconsciously and passive-aggressively beat each other up And we try to hone their thoughts into our thoughts and we want them to have our perspective Well,
This changes everything in our relationship That if the other person now has to think like I think and they have to believe what I believe And again,
This is where we really have to ask ourselves.
Do I think this?
Really important because again if we limit them we limit us Because if they're not allowed to have their own thoughts and beliefs,
We're not allowed to have our own thoughts and beliefs So it's a really really important thing to ponder The other interesting thing about that is that if we're not allowed to be unique this is a deep training To not stand out,
You know,
It's funny like there's a saying Wave your freak flag high so all the other freaks can find you Now,
I love this phrase because i've always felt like a freak my whole life That that I was so different or I saw the world so differently than other people Right,
So I kind of like yeah freak flag But the very fact we use the word freak Is part of the interface That i'm a freak because i'm different What again We have to really look at this is that what I think If I have a different idea do I think i'm weird?
Like think how many words we have for weird different odd strange like freak blah blah blah outcast Like you just there's a million words For anyone who's different And this is really dangerous Because I actually think sometimes it's it's a leftover from deep learning It's it's a leftover from deep primal training that says If you imagine I don't know in a previous consciousness That anyone who is different We had to kill them.
We had to get rid of them.
There's something wrong with them I swear this is where Not that I want to get into this,
But this is where some weird roots of Racism and homophobia and all these things come from They come from some older You know,
I feel like our consciousness is rising and rising and rising and it reminds me it goes back to some kind of caveman Mentality that if you're different i'm frightened and i'm gonna kill you because we have this idea That different is bad It doesn't make any sense But that's why you can't really talk about it because it's it's just nonsense in this consciousness,
Right?
So Why is different bad?
Is it?
And so if different isn't bad Imagine the joy of you closing your eyes and sitting there and thinking So I could just be me all the time And it doesn't matter if it ruffles other people's feathers and I don't mean imposing myself on other people.
I just mean living my life you know just Just being me And again from this previous old I'm kind of why i'm missing the word that i'm trying to find It's almost like a previous evolution a previous stage of evolution Where if you're different you might be kicked out from the herd and then you're going to starve This is really important That you cannot be different or else you won't be accepted and then you're going to be eaten by coyotes or something It's a big deal So it's really important to really that's deep in the interface,
Right?
So if we imagine these thoughts and beliefs ideas the idea that I have different thoughts and different ideas than you do The world isn't so black and white that There's a lot of people that believe that well,
If you don't believe what I believe you're against me And if you're against me now we have combat It's a funny thing.
It's sort of that.
Well,
It's my way or the highway if you don't if you don't agree with me Well,
Then screw you But to actually be able to say but we all have different perspectives So this is where it was so funny when I uh was heading for my political debate Running for town council on tuesday two days ago I was really thinking about because of course the election is on right now.
It finishes in a couple weeks But I started to realize that some of the questions that they may ask me I may have really radical ideas about As I was thinking about the questions that they they'd given us some topic areas that they might ask us about areas that they might ask us about and I realized that wow,
Some of my ideas are really different than What would probably be thought of in this small town or especially around health care or housing all these different things that wow You're a little radical And it was so interesting to be sitting here in this position where I really want to get on town council and it really is It really is a popularity contest Whether or not I get elected and the journey in my heart on my way to the debate was Do you say what people want to hear to get elected?
Or do you allow your truth To you know,
I want to say do you want to are you going to let your freak flag fly?
But I want to find a better way to say it.
Are you going to be honest?
Are you going to actually represent your third chakra properly?
Am I going to represent actually?
If if this incarnation This person is meant to be on that council Then I should probably show up as me And by the time I had gotten to the debate I decided that no matter what they asked I would answer honestly No matter how different it might be no matter how it might be taken I'm going to answer totally honestly And if it means I don't get elected That's okay Because maybe those ideas had to get out there.
Maybe someone else will run with it But to deny my third chakra to deny who I am For the sake of the popularity contest I couldn't do it And this is I mean,
This is just an example in politics but to really imagine how often do we do that in life?
How often do we say well,
This is not a popular idea.
I don't want to upset you.
It's not worth the fight I'm,
Just going to bury it so How do we fix it?
How do we fix this?
Let's say we've lived a whole life and we've been trained that popularity is the answer and I don't mean Popularity like I want to be popular like valley girl popularity.
I just mean I want to be liked I want my partner to love me.
I want my kids to love me I want my community to I don't want to feel like a freak So on some level we've been living in this popularity contest.
I mean it kind of begins in high school,
Right?
So,
How do we get back?
How do we get back to ourselves?
So at this point our interface is globbed with all kinds of nonsense because in order to be popular I've had to adopt your belief and your thought system and your version of reality and all these things I've had to bring them all in so now my entire third chakra is just like Surrounded by Goo It's just surrounded by all kinds of nonsense Well,
The third chakra in terms of the elements is fire The first chakra is earth.
The second chakra is water and the third chakra is fire This is the fire of the digestion.
This is the fire of the furnace So in many ways this fire is our passion And the only way we're going to be passionate about our life is if we're living our life We aren't going to be passionate about living the life of our partner Or living the life of our children or living the life that our parents laid out for us We might be able to do it for a little while and convince ourselves that no no,
No,
I like this.
I like this Right,
We might be able to But in the end if we really want to have that fire if we really want to have that conviction We have to be able to actually stand in who we are and live Well,
This is passion This is feeling alive And one of the emotions that lives in the third chakra is anger Is fury and I don't mean rage that we like rage on someone else But I mean this self-righteous truth that says this is who I am Get lost Or other various phrases Because very often the anger we suppress is because people,
You know,
We talk about people,
You know Crossing boundaries and we need anger to push that back But very often the boundaries that are being crossed is other people want to be They have a certain version of reality And they want us to live in their version of reality And if we don't do it they push and push and push and push Anger is the fire inside that says no I have a life.
I am meant to be living You have a life that you are meant to be living You live your life.
I will live my life if our paths happen to dovetail And we get to spend time together and our lives can actually build each other up and our paths can kind of Coincide in interesting ways wonderful But do not impose yourself on me Yourself,
Isn't that interesting yourself?
Your own self Yourself,
Isn't that interesting yourself your I am experience do not impose yourself on me This creates a very healthy anger That says back off But first we have to believe that we're allowed to be angry Because again in this interface there will be a program very often that says you're not allowed to be angry Angry people are out of control.
Angry people are unenlightened Angry people aren't peaceful.
You're supposed to be like the buddha.
You're supposed to be a nice person Well,
You're not very nice.
I don't feel safe around you because you keep getting angry at me And again,
I'm not talking about people who are mean to you and are cruel or that is wrong People who are having temper tantrums,
That's not anger.
That's just childish flailing at people I mean the anger that says stop You are not me You do not get to make decisions for me.
You do not get to tell me how to think You do not get to tell me how to interpret the world I have my own third chakra.
I have my own assignment here and I am going to see the world as I see the world This is the third chakra power And it has nothing to do with the other person.
I'm not telling them what they should do I'm not telling them how they should live.
I'm not giving them my judgment on their life i'm saying I have the right to live my life If we believe if we have in our interface the belief that i'm not allowed to stand for my truth And i'm not allowed to get angry.
We're in big trouble Because what it means is we've lost the fire in our third chakra So it all of a sudden you have this small.
I mean there's a little bit of fire there But it's like a wet fire that someone keeps putting wet leaves on And it just smokes And it doesn't really burn and nothing really happens and we just feel this sort of blah in life So one of the first things we have to look at is are we allowed to be angry?
And I say that because and not that we want to live a life of being angry But we want to live a life that is ours And anger is what will help us Keep other people's versions of reality at bay so that we can truly live ours Third chakra issues are for people who struggle with their sense of self Not everybody has third chakra issues for some people.
They don't need to listen to this talk Because they're like I have no idea what you're talking about.
You can't tell me what to think Right,
These guys don't need this because people like me who need this Because i've been a people pleaser my whole life and my third chakra is a little bit scant So to actually come to a place where i'm allowed to actually define the world according to what I love you imagine And then the beautiful thing is so this fire has a couple of aspects one The fire burns out all that isn't you When we really are passionate like when i'm really passionately working on a project or i'm really passionate about something It's like everything that doesn't serve me suddenly Disappears it's almost like by the light of the fire of my passion you see the things That actually are holding you back But if there's no fire Everything just kind of gets to creep in on us So one of the first things we want to do is really ask ourselves well,
What do I think?
What do I believe about the world?
And this is actually a beautiful journaling exercise To actually sit down in the morning and say What do I believe?
How do I see things?
What are some philosophies that I really want to live according to One of my fears about running for political office Was that my world would become very focused on other people That I would end up people pleasing again And I would be out there Because there's a belief system that says i'm supposed to take care of everybody else It was funny one of the questions that was asked in the debate And so there were eight of us and they would ask a question And she would pick someone who had to go first and then you had two minutes to answer the question Then she would move to another candidate And one of the questions I was the first to answer the last question and the question was how do you plan on representing Everyone's belief systems in the town of Goderich And so I thought about it.
I only had like 10 seconds to think about it before I could answer And I said my goal isn't to represent the beliefs of all the people of Goderich I said that's impossible I said every single decision every single topic is divisive There's probably 20 different opinions about every topic that we have to make decisions on as a council I cannot represent all the beliefs of everyone in the town I said but there may be people out there who really resonate with me And you might think wow,
You know what I share her belief systems I share how she sees things or at least a portion of it and I believe that she represents me on council And that in a council of five people That perhaps each one of us represents a different portion of the town And it was so funny because then I heard all of my colleagues answers and their answers weren't like that But it was a really interesting thing for me to come to this place where I was like I will drive myself crazy Trying to represent Every single person's belief system in this town The best I can do is be really clear about how I see things And then at least I can represent those people But it's all about you know,
It's all about that and so it's a very interesting thing To really sit down with a journal and say to yourself Why am I here?
What would make me happy?
What do I believe?
How do I believe I'm meant to live my life?
And then really live that life And to live from that place the other big thing about the third chakra is imagining the idea of Judgment Very often if I if you hear something and it doesn't resonate for you and you say yeah,
That's not for me Sometimes there's an idea that oh,
Well,
You're being judgmental And it's like Well,
I'm not being judgmental I'm being discerning and this is a big difference.
So if you look at Our immune system our physical immune system and we imagine this as a metaphor For our psychology or psych our psyche our emotions and all that Everything we bring into our bodies has to be digested thoughts food ideas Movies opinions of others the news the books we read everything everything that comes in has to be digested Well,
The first line of defense is this immune system that says whoa,
Not you You're poison.
Oh,
No,
You're this you can't even come in.
So there's this first line of defense That says yeah,
This isn't for me at all.
I'm not even going to digest this I'm just not even going to open this app.
You know what I mean?
I'm not even going to read this because I don't want to have to digest this I don't even know if I can digest it because it's so not for me Then it comes in and the body brings up enzymes to try to digest whatever we've just eaten and Within this process the enzymes kind of start to play and they start to start to Play and they start to sort and they say ah,
Yes.
This is a new this is nutrition.
This is a mineral Okay,
This is a toxin This is this is roughage and it starts to sort everything and it gets delivered either to the bloodstream or the lymphatic system or maybe it just passes right on out through the Intestines and we just poop it out because it's irrelevant.
It's just roughage This sorting this digestion is so important And many would call it judgment and we would say oh well You're just being judgmental because you're supposed to accept everyone's beliefs and ideas We can see how this idea this thing in the interface Will really glut our digestion like will really slow our digestion down If i'm supposed to eat everything I'm supposed to digest everything It's impossible and once I actually eat it i'm not allowed to sort it I'm not allowed to sort the things that are healthy for me and not healthy for me The things I'm meant to keep and take and let go of Of course I am and this is discernment and as we walk through the world and things come into our arena We're supposed to sort it And it's not being judgmental It's being discerning.
So it's very important for a healthy third chakra interface To be able to say yes.
No,
Yes.
No,
And if we say no to something it doesn't mean it's wrong It means it's not for us Maybe it's important for someone else's journey.
Maybe it's exactly what they need But it's just not for us And this is really really important if we want to have a healthy third chakra interface The last thing I want to mention is in many of our talks.
We've talked about satya Satya truth deep truth This is what we're talking about And when we talk about living in conviction,
We're talking about satyagraha Standing in our truth Because what happens is when our when our third chakra when we have so many ideas We have the ideas that we came in with we have our ancestors ideas.
We have the ideas of our parents We have the belief systems of our society.
We have the belief systems of our church We have all these ideas and this can lead us to incredible overthinking Overthinking to the point of illness headache like that.
We just actually make ourselves crazy So,
How do we make decisions when there's all these beliefs like there's just so many ideas that we can't make So how do we make decisions when there's all these beliefs like there's just an it we are inundated with ideas This is our satya This is when we close our eyes and we ask okay.
What is the truth?
This also lives in our third chakra.
It lives in all the chakras,
But it also lives in our third chakra And when we connect with that satya Then we know okay,
Here are the belief systems that are mine I can now stand strong in this And I can live from this place And I don't have to argue with you and I don't have to fight with you Any more than you need to fight with me or try to impose yourself on me And we can be very clear and very Healthy and then from that place once we come to that place Then we live with passion Then that third chakra comes alive and we become passionate about our mission And we go out into the world and we create this and we do this and we do this and we do this And it's super fun and exciting Because at least we're starting with the foundation that wow,
Look at this awesome gift I was given This awesome assignment that I get to play out here on earth If you have any questions I'd love to answer them But sometimes when you're living with someone for a long time their beliefs become yours How to not be affected Totally and this is where anger is so powerful Because anger is the beginning of understanding As soon as they they say something and you kind of push back That's a little note to self that says Oh,
Wait a minute This pisses me off Interesting If you find yourself talking about this other person You know that they believe this and they believe that and blah blah blah blah blah Then look at those things that you're repeating.
What do you find yourself talking about if you're talking with another person?
What is it because very often these are the things that you have internalized?
And it annoys you it's like it's like grading It's a dissonance inside of you.
This is why anger is so important that we allow it and not to attack the other person But to simply Sort out who we really are I love anger.
It gives me energy and shows what's important exactly i'm exact.
I 100 agree the resonance is so interesting because Another part of the belief system that gets stuck in our interface Is the belief that life is meant to be hard That your path is meant to be hard that what you're put here to do is meant to be hard We know when it's easy We know when when we're in line with our third chakra because it feels good It feels easy It feels like flow We talk about the backside of the chakras the backside of the third chakra Is knowing that the universe has my back That this is my mission.
I was designed for it.
All I have to do is relax into it and let it flow out of me If there's something in the interface that says no no,
No,
No your mission is not worthy That's a problem But if we can just relax and allow it to flow It's easy and that's something that we're not often used to that to actually Follow the easy way It's kind of like being in relationships and perpetually choosing difficult partners And maybe it's karma.
Maybe we need to do it because we need to keep repeating a pattern until we really get it but It's really uh It's a very interesting thing that we actually think that relationships are supposed to be challenging or that's what makes it interesting Or that jobs are supposed to be difficult or it's normal that life is hard or something like that What if it's not meant to be and again,
This is a very serious belief system that can be stuck in that interface So then all of a sudden even if flow is not something must be wrong because It's not supposed to be this easy Why do we keep choosing complicated partners?
Is it really karma?
I don't know And when I say karma,
I don't mean punishment.
I mean that we're repeating a pattern that for some reason This feels familiar because the funny thing about the funny thing about complicated partners is It's like so for me There's certain partner types that I will relate to And there's others I won't at all so I might relate to partners who are hard working,
But they kind of neglect in the relationship,
But they're good people Or maybe they as long as they're this it's okay But if a guy ever yelled at me,
I would be gone like it wouldn't even they wouldn't even have a second chance Like if someone actually yelled at me Or swore at me they would never see me again.
That would be just over You know and I'll but I'll put up with all kinds of other bad behaviors,
But you can't yell at me You certainly couldn't hit me Whereas another person Depending on maybe how we were raised or whatever's going on in our life Well yellings that that's expected.
I mean,
That's that's kind of normal or that happens You know,
You have bad days or whatever,
But that's not my pattern but it might be your pattern and that's weird Like why why do we have these patterns?
In my experience it feels like I keep it's almost like I would have a relationship Then I would have another relationship especially since I became single And I started watching the patterns thinking wow I do have not a chance to be a part of this But I started watching the patterns thinking wow,
I do have not a type like,
You know He looks like this or he looks like that but a behavioral pattern And it's almost like my puzzle piece fits that puzzle piece and our puzzle pieces fit And then all of a sudden as I start to change I don't fit with this puzzle piece anymore And then I go Unless they change too and we change together or something like that So it's really interesting when we have these I don't know I just see it as patterns and I don't know what that is exactly We fall in love with potential but even falling in love with potential,
You know,
What's funny about that is sometimes Okay,
I'm gonna say this Because this is my just my story It is so dangerous to fall in love with people's potential Because we're not actually paying attention to what's real and on the ground We maybe we see them in another dimension This happens.
I really this is something that I've really been playing with lately But I actually think that isn't as human beings we actually shift dimension all the time Like you can look at someone and they can be really angry or something like that And then all of a sudden you kind of fall into this really loving space And it's almost like they look different and they feel different And they feel different And we think we've seen their potential We think we've seen something else,
But I actually think we've simply shifted into another dimension of who this other person is and who we are But it's not actually in this world It's something else And sometimes I think we even feel that about ourselves That I fall in love with my own potential,
But I'm really clear When i'm not actually acting on it You know,
It's that idea that oh no,
Here's what I believe.
I don't really do it But I believe this Well,
That's nonsense All that matters is what I'm doing.
I can believe a million things But that's not who I am who I am is what I do So if we have that thing that we do with ourselves that I believe in my own potential and I believe that because I have all These beliefs and thoughts and that's who I am But I don't do any of them It's kind of like if oh,
I believe in yoga.
I believe in meditation I don't practice it or anything.
Like I don't actually use it,
But I believe it's really important Well,
Then that's not you What you do is what you are Oh,
Yeah fitness so important I don't really do anything in terms of fitness,
But I really believe it's important,
Right?
Like what we do Is there it's like there's a buddhist saying It's not enough to believe you have to walk the path or else it's not your truth So sometimes if we do that for ourselves,
We also do it with other people We believe in their potential We believe that the potential that they are is who they are in the same way that we believe our potential is who we are And so it's really interesting.
But once we start actually doing the things We start recognizing that this person isn't doing the things They're not making any movement towards doing the things What are we doing?
And so there's a real interesting mirror sometimes there Not everyone is willing to grow alongside with you and nor should they This is again this so important thing about the third chakra No one is supposed to walk your path with you People are supposed to walk their path People are supposed to walk their path and we're supposed to walk our path We're not supposed to bend each other to each other's paths So it's not that i've outgrown you i'm just on my path and our paths have diverged You know,
This is one of the great challenges In this other belief system that's in the third chakra that says that when you're in a relationship,
It's till death do you part?
And everything else is a failure This completely Almost forces us to make each other bend to each other's paths I need you to come on my path And if you're not on my path,
Then you're behind me or you're less evolved than I am or less enlightened No,
They're on their path and if it Compliments your path Can be together And if it doesn't Allow everyone to walk on their own journey This is really really important Like this absolute addiction to making other people like ourselves is really a problem Relationship is the choice to work next to someone holding mirrors for each other Totally and I mean and if that's what you want to do,
Then that's that really and that complements each other Right,
Then that's really important.
That's not everybody's choice For me in in this time of my life I have no interest in that But this is me my third chakra my path I have no desire for complicated relationships.
I have no desire I have no desire for any of that If i'm going to be in intimate relationship with someone I want to explore the best of ourselves I want to see what we can build and what we can be joyful about I'm writing,
You know three books right now when I teach and i'm passionate i'm potentially going on council and I love my life That's me If someone wants to be in that then I also want you to love your life and i'm not here to rub your edges off You need to go find someone else.
It's not me,
But that might be someone else and it might be excellent So even to say relationships are challenging All that matters is that you both want the same challenge That you both are actually working through patterns and helping you guys sort out the puzzle pieces That's it That's all that matters So thank you so much for being here I hope you have a wonderful day
