So today we're talking about the seventh chakra,

So we're finishing up our chakra 2.

0 series and For anyone who is new to this series All the other six chakras are here on insight timer and they're also on YouTube on my youtube channel Which is just Katrina boss But that's okay if you've not heard the other ones you don't have to have to be here today the Foundation of these talks and the reason they're called chakra 2.

0 is that very often when we talk about the chakras we talk about what happens when there's dysfunction and We treat it almost like having functional chakras It's kind of out there.

It's only for people who are I don't know mega healthy intellectually spiritually physically or something like that,

But for the rest of us we're kind of just broken and our chakras will always be some kind of shaded version of our potential This very Not pessimistic,

But it it's almost like well,

You have to be real.

We're obviously not perfect we're only human like we have this real perspective and And especially with the seventh chakra because the seventh chakra we often talk about it as being our connection to the divine So this is like guru stuff I mean,

I mean you can't be connected to the divine and still worry about paying bills one or the other you either choose this life of divinity where your ego consciousness is dissolved and you are in full liberation in somebody or You care about relationships and fitness and politics in the world.

Like it's sort of this one of two things and Sometimes we even see the chakras as being some kind of ladder That we're like going higher and higher and higher and higher and eventually we achieve this Enlightenment in the seventh chakra and we can fall into this trap in spiritual communities for sure and We just want to give up everything so that we can have this seventh chakra like oh you know experience as if the rest don't matter as if experiencing divine love in the fourth chakra doesn't matter as if Fully integrating ourselves into the village and exploring nature in the first chakra It doesn't matter that the seventh chakra is this no but enlightenment is what I want.

That's what I want and So it gets very confusing because we start separating all the chakras in like well,

This is my favorite chakra and that's just lowly Relationship stuff.

I'm so not caught in my second chakra like there's so much weird Separation when we talk about the chakras So the reason this is called the chakra 2.

0 series is I believe that one of the reasons we do that one of the reasons we separate all the chakras like this and we sort of Elevate some and we demean others is because there are these two worlds that we are living in at the same time all of us all of us here and And there's this world of divine light of perfection That if you imagine this sort of running down through your center We look at energy channels in the body called Nadi's and these are the not in these nadis There's like tens of thousands of them seventy two thousand four whatever and these nadis carry the prana through the body They're kind of like the nerve system of our energy system our nervous system in our physical This is like the nerves of our energy system and the main channel down the center the Shushmana Shushumna,

I know I can never pronounce it properly It's the main guy that sort of connects that our first chakra with our seventh chakra and sometimes we can imagine that in that Shushumna,

This is the Purity,

This is the divinity.

This is the pure light.

This is the Kundalini.

This is the that perfection and Then we sort of have this other world that we're living in Which Cindy Dale this really interesting teacher she calls the shadow world And so if you imagine us as these divine beings Incarnating in this really curious world and looking around the world saying wow It's kind of messed up here There's some really difficult factions here that are causing humans a lot of problems This isn't how we were designed like we even say things like well,

I'm only human.

It's like Is that a good or a bad thing or am I simply a human suffering?

As we try to adapt to the shadow world and This whole idea that if you imagine the Shushumna down the center being this perfection this beautiful light channel This is where our chakras lie So now instead imagine that our chakras right now are perfect.

I mean their energy energy vortices don't Get twisted They're perfect.

They're their energy They're just flowing energy So the question becomes so we have these perfect Chakras inside that it sort of exists in that light world that world of wisdom that we all can access.

It's kind of those feelings inside when and We touch it every so often Maybe we feel extreme joy or even sometimes in extreme sadness.

We touch that perfection in life Sometimes it's playing with a puppy sometimes it's watching the sunrise You know,

Sometimes it's making love.

Sometimes it's eating chocolate,

But we have this And literally this is all that exists.

We all have access to it But then we have this interface That we have to have up to this curious shadow world that we live within And very often then when we look at the different chakras what we're really looking at is the interface Between the perfection within us and this really weird dysfunction outside of us So when we talk about well if I have a blocked seventh chakra Well,

The seventh chakra is a spinning vortices that connects us to all of infinity To God to great consciousness to the bigger picture,

Whatever we understand that to be Nothing wrong with our seventh chakra But in order to survive here in the shadow world,

We may have put up a program Between that perfection and the world around us just to survive It's not a it's not wrong and this is another huge thing that I think really blocks us on our spiritual path that Because we were taught that we were sinful by birth That we are only human everybody's messed up.

Everyone's got issues We internalize that and then believe that I can't fix things Even if I do even if I do have the greatest Realization there's a ceiling as to how healthy I could really be How happy I could really be how wealthy I could really be how enlightened I could really be how fit I could really be How balanced my life could be there's a limit I mean you have to understand where I came from and who I am and my experiences.

I'm broken We really are not broken.

We are not broken We really have internalized this idea that there's something wrong with us And when we internalize that that becomes the ceiling that becomes the limit of what's possible So this whole idea of the chakra 2.

0 series is to say what if that's not true What if we're not broken at all what if we are perfect What if these chakras within us are in their original divine state Then we can actually expand them expand them in their perfection and as they continue to expand They shed light on this interface we've created and we can slowly release all the programs of the interface So this is the foundation of our talks So in its perfection the seventh chakra is our connection to the divine And if you imagine what it like what does that really mean like that's a word it's just a doesn't really mean anything So the divine is sort of that infinite aspect of who we are and we do experience this So if you imagine your imagination our imagination is infinite it can just go and go and go and go and go Positively,

Negatively,

Productively,

Destructively we can experience that infinite aspect of ourselves If we're with someone we love we can experience infinite love Like we just think I just I just feel like I love more and more and more and more and more We do have this connection to this infinity it's not just for mystics it's not just for gurus Every one of us can experience this infinite aspect of self So one of the challenges in the shadow world is for whatever reason that's not allowed There's no knowing that you're an infinite being you're not allowed to think that you actually are capable of everything capable of anything you want and we're taught this at a very young age that no no no you're limited by who your parents were the culture you were raised in your gender maybe even your skin color or your religion we have all of these things that say no no no this is where you belong and so we're it's sort of beaten into us that we are limited beings this is this is all you are this is this is it there's no there's nothing else even within religions very often you have to have an intermediary between you and god you can't do it because we're just not capable of it we're just lowly common folk well so now imagine you've got this beautiful seventh chakra and some people believe it's right in the crown of the head like it's right here and some say that it's a little bit above it's a few inches above it doesn't matter where it is so imagine we have this glorious energy center right here where we are literally plugged into the cosmos and we live in a place that says oh no no you're not plugged in not you and maybe we learn this as children not you and maybe we learn this as children and we think oh so then now we have kind of a program in the interface that says you're not plugged into the cosmos though you are limited sinful being you cannot do this kind of thing and that's really interesting and again it's just something to look at that program what program do we have in that interface that tells us that we don't have access to infinite wisdom that we aren't capable of anything what in the world would limit us here we are incarnate beings we are infinite beings who chose to come to earth why would anything stop us oh well you know you've got to understand my parents or you've got to understand that i've and there's the kids and then there's it and it's like but why are these limiting our potential who says what is that what is that program that says and this is where it's really interesting because they often talk about the crown chakra as being the place where the individual person meets divine consciousness so we are an important person like and this is not about letting go of the physical life letting go of our circumstances letting go of our responsibilities it's not about that it's not a ladder where we let go of all these things the ultimate goal of all the chakras is understanding that they all work together the seventh chakra is not a place where we escape the world we are incarnate here the first chakra is fantastic this is our connection to the earth this is us incarnate the second chakra is amazing this is relationships this is interacting with other people in the world around us our third chakra is amazing this is our mission this is why we're here this is our unique fingerprint this is our unique perspective and beliefs and thoughts that propel us on our journey our fourth chakra is amazing this is divine love this is whether it's love of other people or or love of chocolate not like you can't tell i like chocolate the fifth chakra is amazing this is where we hear guidance and we we share and we express and we do all these things and the here is where we feel this enlightenment and this insight and all these things why would we ever give any of that up why would we want to leave all of that to be liberated from this incarnation we're here we woke up this morning this is it this is us alive this is amazing so the goal is to fully integrate this awareness of the divine in to all of those and you can feel that you can feel what would it feel like to have this beautiful connection to the divine it's almost like remembering who we really are and now we explore the first chakra so i know who i am i know i am this divine being and then i go for a walk in the woods i know that we are all divine beings infinite incarnations intentionally unique and fantastic and i walk down the street of my town and i see everything i see happiness and sadness and weird stuff and great stuff and everything what's my perspective as i do that it's like look at this world how cool is this imagine having this perspective in our second chakra in our flow in life in our interactions with others in our creativity when we can fully release whatever is in that interface to allow us to really feel this beautiful pulsing seventh chakra right now and feel that in relationships it's like how you doing like there's a real lightness to it there's no attachment there's no grasping there's no requirement there's no expectation how can you even have expectation in an infinite world suddenly your third chakra makes sense because you're a you're a unique refraction of god and you have a specific tendency and interest and and your mission in life doesn't have to be altruistic saving the world and all that your mission in life might just be loving cats and i i don't mean that as a negative thing i mean that as a imagine spending your life simply expressing love for animals what a beautiful existence what if your big passion in life is baking and every time you start pulling out the ingredients joy fills you what higher good is there we've really made stuff up about what our mission is supposed to be and this is something we're going to come back to but what is one of the great places that we can go to really expand our awareness of the seventh chakra is joy joy is a very very powerful state of being and sometimes our third chakra makes more sense who we are what we're here for what's our mission what's our journey all those things when we really imagine what if my mission is joy what if that joy consciousness what if i just follow that and it can be anything it can be anything from painting to accounting to water skiing to climbing mountains to reading books just following joy this is when you sit in whatever it's like uh abraham hicks would say do whatever you'd need to get into the vortex it doesn't matter what it is get into the vortex and once you're in the vortex all the answers will come so it's a very interesting thing to access this seventh chakra energy that is right within us right now so to really know that when i'm talking we're talking about the seventh chakra as a separate entity and we're talking about the seventh chakra as a separate entity and we're talking about the seventh chakra as a separate entity but we only want to talk about it in the way that it blends with all the chakras we are not escaping life and spending our life meditating ignoring everything that we can't resolve that's not why we're here that's not why we came to planet earth so one of the interesting things when we talk when we use words like the seventh chakra is where the ego dissolves into infinite consciousness what do we really mean by that what do we mean by dissolving the ego to merge with infinity what does that mean well imagine the ego's a lot of interesting things i mean and lots of people call it we describe it in many different ways but for all intents and purposes the ego positive or negatively carries this personality it carries this journey it carries this unique thumbprint whatever it is i'm here to do this is my ego and of course we can have dysfunctional ego attachment and whatever all that stuff but in it's we're looking at things in the light here the ego is just the ego the ego is just who i am that's what makes each one of us separate and different and interesting wrapped up in that ego is what we might call karma for whatever reason we all come in fully loaded we aren't blank slates children when they're born i mean anybody here who has children or has has or knows children or even remembers being a child we come in with personalities and we come in with tendencies and we come in with issues and we come in with joy but we come in we come in loaded and i don't mean that in a negative way i mean we come in with a path so imagine that part of our ego part of our third chakra might even be to work out some issues or to finish things one of my favorite definitions of karma was by osho and he called it unfinished business and you can feel that whether we understand the world in terms of reincarnation or not or multiple lifetimes or timelessness or however we see that but you can even imagine it in this lifetime if we do something and we only get so far in it it's like we repeat the pattern again to try to do a bit better then we repeat the pattern again to try to do a bit better and we keep doing it until we do it perfectly and then we move on to a new chapter to a new chapter and in his perception it was the same thing as karma except we're just spanning lifetimes we're spanning the eternal life of a soul i guess so in many ways many of the patterns that we come in with as children perhaps we could understand them within the map of karma so then all of a sudden being able to access the wisdom of our seventh chakra and again in the dance of all the chakras we're not separating it how do we access the seventh chakra wisdom and infinity and wonder and blend it with this whole human experience well all of a sudden a little extra light helps us see our patterns clearer and then all of a sudden we start to watch ourselves saying wow that's an interesting pattern i'm repeating what's that all about and so it's really interesting because as we come into this space dissolving the ego consciousness dissolving that allows us to kind of remember and then when we have these moments of remembering who we are that infinite self then we come back into our incarnation and those patterns don't have the same hold they had before it's not about expanding up here and staying there but we can do that when we die like we'll leave soon enough it's not a you know or not that's a whole other story but we don't need to go there and stay there we need to go there experience this joy and then come back into our life and say oh i see this i i see this pattern now and what's really cool is when we can really experience this infinite self we're not coming back in and being heavily judgmental of ourselves either or anybody else this consciousness isn't attached to anything we suddenly see even the people in our lives who drive us crazy who are probably also caught up in our karma it's one of the it was in that celeste i know i'm really referencing the celestine prophecy lately a lot i'm gonna have to reread it or something but i remember them talking about i think he was the one that introduced the idea of soul groups that when we come in these people that we meet into our in our lives whether it's family or friends or strangers on the street and we look at them we go have we met because you seem awfully familiar that perhaps we have met it was just another lifetime and we were siblings or lovers or it's always funny to me that we're all friends and we're all friends and we're all lovers or it's always funny who we decide oh we must have been lovers in a past life when it's also possible that we were just annoying siblings or something but when we imagine that and then we imagine the patterns that we're experiencing with people when we can really go in and just kind of tap in with that infinite space inside we're not so angry we're not so the grudges don't hold as well the judgment doesn't hold as well the expectations dissolve so when every time we kind of dissolve that ego consciousness so does all the stories that we're telling ourselves so it's a very interesting space to be able to integrate into this world and what it does is it kind of fast forwards our growth we can just cycle through our life unconsciously so if we kind of disconnect ourselves from our sixth and seventh chakras or even the whole upper triangle of spiritual perspective if we just disconnect from that and just stay in our first three chakras and again in the shadow world perspective sort of slaves to the interface slaves to what we've learned slaves to everything we've accumulated over our lifetime we'll still get there it'll just be bumpier we just still have to have the fights and we have to have the regret and we have to end that relationship and we have to start a new one and we have to you know what I mean like we just we'll still get there but if we can actually integrate all of this incredible energy that's right here right now it's like we can kind of ah i see that and just simply let it go there's a lot of different ways to imagine what this feels like that what it feels like to experience the seventh chakra in meditation it's a very interesting thing and meditation what I mean by that it can be anything it could be sitting in meditation it could be walking in the woods alone it could be sitting by the sea it could be sitting by a bubbling brook it could be being completely absorbed painting it can be anything but that inner consciousness it's like it becomes this warm flame inside it doesn't necessarily feel like fireworks like i think sometimes we imagine the ecstasy of the seventh chakra to be this out of body experience and i do think that well i know that does happen but it isn't that's not the merging that's not what's valuable to us on a day-to-day basis we can certainly have times when that kundalini energy is just just flying through us 100 but that's that's not a that's not a state that's not a that's not a state that we live in that's an experience it's almost like a download it's a time when we kind of get plugged into something and we receive information and then we return we return to the world so on a day-to-day basis it can feel like this lovely flickering candle it's also if you imagine the idea of us being a drop of water it's like the drop of water merging with the ocean and this is a beautiful thing to play with in meditation or as you're falling asleep or sitting outside in your favorite spot in the sunshine to just feel yourself a part of the whole to close your eyes closing our eyes really helps because it gets rid of the separation as soon as our eyes are open we're very aware that i am me and that tree is there and that house is there or that water is there but if we close our eyes and we feel the sun or we feel whatever's around us and we imagine ourselves as that drop of water merging into the ocean same thing as even star gazing to lie and look at the stars but to not feel yourself as separate from them but to let yourself flow through the stars to know that we are made of the same thing that those stars are made of we are all one that we are all part of it all part of it and then we have this amazing experience imagine you're stargazing and you really feel that embodiment you really feel that oneness and then you come back into your house and you see a loved one and you have this sparkle in your eyes going high everything has this other dimension or this other feeling or this other expansive joy you know to integrate that all the time the other thing that's really interesting about reintegrating the seventh chakra is to know that we often experience it in moments we do have this experience in moments and then sometimes we can kind of berate ourselves that we don't continue to have these experiences why do i keep falling back into my old patterns why do i keep going back why do i keep forgetting then all of a sudden you have another moment like that in your life and you think yeah i knew this i i realized this i had this how come i keep forgetting and we can really berate ourselves and again this comes out of this shadow world huge self-judgment somewhere along the line we were taught criticism like nobody's business criticism of others criticism of self instead of again this sort of perspective this big picture perspective that says what an interesting path we're on isn't this fascinating because for whatever reason we lost this but it's still there it's just i think that the interface is very thick to block us from that but we just have to look at it it's not a big deal we just have to go there sometimes people talk about they talk about moksha freedom liberation and this is often considered the the chakra of liberation this is the chakra of enlightenment but this is liberation total freedom and they often give the example of a bird in a cage and when we've been taught that this is not part of our reality this is not for you you are only a local person you are not a only a lowly commoner you are a broken person you are damaged goods you cannot experience all this nonsense i don't want to say it this is sort of what we're taught all these things i just said are like the bars of the cage for a bird so you live in the cage and you think this is normal and then all of a sudden maybe you read something or you hear something or you have an experience and you go wait a minute none of that's even true i'm as infinite a being as everyone else here i have seven chakras or many many more i'm an incredible being connected to the cosmos why are we being taught this and you have this awareness and this is like the door on the cage being opened and the bird goes like i could just fly out like i don't have to do this i don't have to live in the cage really and so maybe the bird tries it birds never lived out of the cage it has no conscious memory of freedom no conscious memory of what it would be like to live in this state of wonder all the time and i mean while we're going to work while we're paying the bills while we're caring for the kids while we're caring for our parents whatever it is there is a freedom inside this is not an external freedom this is a spiritual freedom this is victor frankl's foundational freedom of choice that no matter what's going on in the world i get to choose my response to it this is a decision between my soul and the world around me but it's really just me and my soul so we can experience this freedom regardless of our circumstances within whatever circumstances we find ourselves so all of a sudden the bird gets this little taste of flight and it leaves the cage and it begins to fly and it's like oh i didn't know i didn't know i could fly but maybe it flies and it just lands on the branch over there and it sits out there staring at the cage but i can't go further than the branch right like this is pretty free all right this is awesome and then it hangs out in the branch for a while and then it goes back to the cage because it knows the cage i mean you can be free once in a while right or those people can be free because they they don't have this cage that they have to take care of and also i'll go back to the cage for a while so we go back to the cage for a while and we happily live in the cage and then every so often we remember oh yeah that door i just have to open the door and just fly out and then this time maybe we fly further than the branch and then bit by bit we do this but it's just part of the journey and maybe every time we return to the cage there's something important we're supposed to sort of there but every time we've flown a little further we have a little bit more insight to understand the cage humans whatever this experience is that we're having we seem to really be designed to do it organically you know what i mean like we seem to by organically what i mean is when something grows organically there's a seed so if you imagine them an ecosystem and you plant a seed in it a new seed that seed will start to sprout and it will slightly change the chemistry of the soil around it it will slightly change the water table because it's now drawing water the animals might shift slightly because there's now a new plant there the ecosystem will start to grow and it will start to grow and if you look at the soil there the ecosystem will slightly change in these very subtle little ripple effects and now the ecosystem is changed we're like that we make one little change you know and it can be something simple like we study satya all the time we study truth what does that mean well it's really easy to say just start speaking your truth all the time well we are very all kinds of people in our lives and relationships and even relationships with ourselves the best thing we can do is make one small change in total truth that is connected from the crown all the way down with every single chakra and then allow the organic ripple effects to happen in the world and then when everything has found its new homeostasis we then make another new change and then everything does this this is a much gentler way of shifting our consciousness than saying i'm going to change these 15 things come hell or high water damn it it's not like that we're not robots we're organic perpetually dynamically changing and growing beings so we need to change little things but really change them and allow everything to shift in its very subtle gentle way and that's where the seventh chakra to help that these programs that live in the interface that block our access to this true divinity inside of every one of us they are insidious and i mean by what i mean by that is they hide in the shadows they're hard to nail down because they're systemic philosophies so for example there might be a philosophy that says well i'm only human just that statement i'm only human if that's a mantra that i believe that is a program that is an in the interface between the world out there and my seventh chakra it's almost like although i am an infinite being capable of anything on the planet that i actually can manifest anything i desire in order to survive here i have to believe that i am only human so that's my interface i am less than there is a ceiling on what i can accomplish that's a weird thing to unearth that's a weird thing to get rid of do you know what i mean like it's a it's it's it's not so clear it's not like if we were raised in a culture that said women are less than men well i can fight that i can fight that i can argue it i can write essays about it i can you know what i mean there's physical things i can kind of chew that one up we can have intellectual debates and we can do all these kind of things it's a very obvious thing but the funny programs up here or for example i mean this might be this might be a program about god consciousness this is very confusing territory first of all the very word god is extremely confusing it's been co-opted by so many institutions and people and stuff like it's literally like okay can we use a different word because that word i don't want anything to do with that word and so then we talk around it and here and there and blah blah blah we get all confused about it there's so many programs that even the idea that we try to define it which is why one of the huge religious tenets is do not define me do not use your literal words you're only going to cause trouble which is what we do and then we make have wars about it and we do the most horrible things in the name of god and all these things these are horrible things that block us from that that say okay whatever that's all about i don't want anything to do with it there's a huge program so it's really easy for me to say okay we need to clean up that interface and then we have to do a lot of things and then we have to do a lot of things and then we have to do a lot of things to get rid of that interface but you kind of sit there and go it's so interwoven into our upbringing into our family into our culture it's almost like i'm swimming in the pool but i can't see out of the dirty pool because it's so systemic this is where it's so we cannot battle this or we cannot clear that with our mind we have to have those experiences we have to experience joy we have to experience that merging into the ocean we need to experience that releasing into the candle flame whatever that is which is why we do things like meditation but the key to meditating is to not be attached to what happens this is why there's many many ways of meditating that help us access this incredible expansive part of us for example one of the techniques that we use when we meditate is to allow the thoughts to float through our mind we hear this all the time let's focus on our breath if thoughts come in just let them float through like fluffy clouds or logs flowing down a river we have all these techniques to allow the thoughts to flow through why are we doing that why are we practicing letting the thoughts flow through we're strengthening this ability to be able to experience joy to be able to observe the thoughts of the ego observe the thoughts of karma observe the thoughts of our past and allow a detachment from them allow them to float by this is this area this is this beyond all of that so we're practicing that but we can't get attached to whether or not we're good at it or not everybody always has random thoughts we're alive some say that we have like 10,

000 thoughts a second like there's a lot of interesting statistics out there how they measure them i don't know but so the fact that the thoughts go by we're human we're incarnate and i don't mean we're human like we're broken i mean we are incarnate human we have thoughts we're alive so we practice this we practice sort of allowing the thoughts to go through sometimes we practice neti neti which doesn't allow the thoughts to go through we don't even let them in the door they come in and we go no oh no no no no no no no we do this practice and then what that does is it allows us to stay in the quiet room it allows us to stay here but these are practices we're learning to release all the programs that aren't letting us access this perfection inside each one of us right now sometimes we do traticum which is focused gazing and this often times we think about candle a candle gaze and so you sit quietly maybe you do something called chiastherium which i have a recording here on insight timer to really help stabilize the body and you sit quietly with your eyes closed and then you open your eyes and you gaze at a candle and this candle you gaze at the candle until it appears here in your third eye and then you close your eyes and you continue to see the candle burning here kind of like you know when you stare at a picture and then you close your eyes and you can see it's negative in your mind's eye that kind of thing it's the same thing that's why we do candle gazing we're practicing this clear space right here but that's all we're doing when we're meditating we're just slowly practicing how to experience even if we have a moment even if that bird's cage opens for a moment and we fly out for a moment and we return that moment counted that moment helped us expand just a little bit this is another reason why when we want to expand it we think about its nature what is the nature of the seventh chakra peace joy divine wisdom mystery so even to sit and meditate and simply feel peace and of course what's really interesting is as soon as you start to feel peace something's going to rise in the interface to say yeah but what about this but what about this but this is the beautiful use of meditation that this is an exploration it's not about achieving meditation it's about achieving the feel peace and of course what's really interesting is as soon as you start to feel peace something's going to rise in the interface to say yeah but what about this what about this but this is the beautiful use of meditation that this is an exploration it's not about achieving meditation a meditative state it's about wow so i meditated on peace and this topic came up interesting that's really valuable to know that we just see it from this perspective that we say yes good i needed to know that excellent and then maybe we go away to journal or maybe you have a friend that you talk to or a therapist and you say you know i was meditating on peace the other day and wow do i ever have some serious programming in my interface that believes that that's not possible i'd love to talk about that more or if you meditate on joy and you say okay i'm just going to embody joy and then that little voice comes up in the interface and says yeah but that's not reasonable that's not real that's what i mean these the interface here is very insidious that says no no but joy isn't actually possible that's just for people who don't care about anything that's just for people who don't have responsibilities that's just for people who haven't had the life i've had and this is very valuable information because you basically we're reading the interface and we can say interesting i don't believe that i can be joyful be joyful well that's sure good to know so it's a really interesting thing to actually just first of all just to imagine yourself in these chakras fully integrated all the time that the point of the seventh chakra is not to escape life and just live in this state of being but to allow it to constantly be flowing this is a flow these are all connected so that this wonderment flows into our relationships and this wonderment allows us to just effortlessly love and this wonderment goes down into the first chakra and believes in abundance all the seven chakras live together which is what makes us so interesting like really multi-dimensional fantastic beings we are when you really bring all that together it's really really phenomenal if you have any questions i would love to answer them with comments so if the chakras are perfect when we do chakra meditation what should we be doing all chakra meditations teach about balancing cleansing visualizing colors spinning opening i don't know what i what i genuinely believe is that our soul knows what it needs every single one of us is so unique where we are we will be drawn to something that heals us when our intention is i want to really connect with my full flowing chakras we will be drawn to a kind of meditation and for one person it might be colors it might be a cleansing thing but to imagine that you're not cleansing you you're cleansing the interface so it could be it could be so many different meditation paths and many different ones for each person so i would just really really trust your wisdom like whatever meditation practice you go into just really trust your wisdom and you can just really focus on that perfectness inside of you and allow the meditation to cleanse the interface whatever it is is there something to the saying that you need to first balance the lower chakras in order to reach the higher ones i heard that but i think it's not true thank you that's a great question i believe it's very important i believe that you know when we talk a lot about spiritual bypassing i think this is where people say okay i have all these issues in my relationships and i have all these issues in my i struggle with love so i'm just going to meditate and connect with the divine and it's like when we can go down to that first chakra and we can because it's almost like in the lower chakras we have more we can work with there's more physicalness there's more juice there's more stuff to play with so in the first chakra if we are struggling with the very grounding if we're upset that we were born if we're not even able to do that we're not even able to enjoy the world on a first chakra level then we need to stay there we need to find out how do i love the world how do i do it is it sitting in a cafe reading a book drinking a cup of coffee is it going out in nature is it snorkeling is it painting what is it that makes me happy to be here what is it that makes me happy to be here if i don't have that if my first chakra is right sideways and i don't want to be here anyway how can we ever embrace the wonderment of being alive of the seventh or the divine love of the fourth they don't make any sense one isn't better than the other in fact those early chakras are so foundational they're literally foundational to our entire spiritual journey so it's so important to get back to that first chakra and really be a part of the world somehow volunteer somewhere go next door and find out if they need something fixed like be a part of the village be a part of nature be a part of the world and when we can actually find how we fit in in a first chakra level suddenly we kind of exhale as a being it's like okay i i'm okay that i'm here okay i all right i'm happy i'm happy i was born i'm happy to be here and i'm saying this lightly but that journey could take a decade that's not an overnight fix that's a huge journey and that could be revisiting our childhood that could be finding our roots that could be connecting with our ancestors that could be whatever but we have to feel like we belong on planet earth like we have to believe that we have to know that from there once we feel like we actually belong on the planet then we can start playing in the relationship thing like you imagine if you're playing in the relationship world i'm not saying that we're all we're all playing in all of them all the time but if you're playing in the relationship world but you don't even feel like you belong on this planet what's going to happen in the second chakra suddenly we we only belong because you're in my life i only belong because you feel this way about me and i have expectations of you like you know what i'm saying like you can see how it goes but if you can really find your peace whatever that is whether it's walks in the forest whether it's walking your neighbor's dog whatever it is that makes you go i'm all right then we start playing in the second chakra and we focus there and we go okay what's going on here what's really going on and we can use all the chakras we can still pray and we can ask for wisdom and guidance and listen and trust the visions we have and we can still do all that you know but then we start playing in the second chakra and you know it's that whole ramdas quote if you think you're enlightened go spend a weekend with your family and again some families are crazy like don't get me wrong but but what's my soul's interaction with that what's my soul's interaction with people around me this needs to happen you need to be grounded there then we can move up into our third chakra well if i like being here and i'm kind of digging the people in the world as well i maybe can start to understand my own mission why was i specifically put here but if i don't really want to be here and everyone drives me crazy how could i ever understand my third chakra how i fit into the hole because i don't like anything that's here to begin with do you know what i'm saying so yes and thank you so much for asking that because it is so so important because we want to skip all that because that's the hard part we just want to just go straight to enlightenment but the truth is we have to really ask ourselves why am i here why am i incarnate why am i well we're here to experience this world i love studying and teaching non-duality but only as it applies to duality it's great to experience oneness as long as it lets me enjoy love more and it lets me enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a friend more it's only as it integrates in the duality that it's interesting thank you so much for being here i hope you have a wonderful day

The last q&a answer really struck me. If I don’t enjoy being here on planet earth, how can any of the other areas of life work well. I’ve got some 1st chakra homework to do. Thank you so much for this whole series and a new perspective.
