So I want you to find a comfortable seated position or to lay down as you listen to this guided meditation.

Allow yourself to just sink into the place that you are sitting or laying.

Notice if you're holding on to any tension in your body.

Allow yourself to let it go.

Now I want you to notice how you're breathing.

Check in with how your body is feeling.

How deep is your breath?

Is your mind racing right now?

Are you thinking of all the other things you need to get done?

Are you allowing yourself to be present in this moment?

No need to pass judgment on any of it.

Just practice noticing what's going on inside of you.

Now I want to bring you back to your breath and I want you to focus on the very tip of your nose and the feeling as the air comes in your nose and as you release it out.

As you notice the sensation,

Start practicing taking deeper breaths in,

Filling your lungs from the bottom all the way up to the top.

And now I want you to start to release the air out through your mouth very slowly and calmly.

Taking a deep breath in,

Noticing the sensation at the tip of your nose,

Filling up your lungs,

Releasing the air out through our mouth.

Whenever we're doing energy or healing work,

There's so much flowing within us and out of us.

That's important that we blow that air out in an effort of releasing what it is that we are trying to heal and let go of.

Continue to focus on your breath,

Allowing it to get deeper and more intentional.

Now in this moment,

I do want to bring you back to all the things that are going on in your life.

I want you to imagine that you are standing at the edge of a cliff,

That there are weights on your shoulders.

Each particular weight has a name to it.

Each name is something you're facing in your life right now.

The overwhelm,

The stress,

The anxiety,

The anger and frustration,

The fear,

All of it is piling up on top of you as you look down this cliff.

And I also want you to look up for a second and notice there's the sun parting through the clouds.

It's very hard though to focus on that because there's so much weight on your shoulders.

There's this cliff in front of you and it just feels like,

Where do I go now?

I can't move forward.

I don't want to go backward.

I just feel stuck.

You may start to feel your body literally take on weight.

Your posture may change.

Your breathing may change.

You are able to handle this.

Don't worry.

Now all of a sudden at the edge of this cliff,

You start to notice light coming together to form a bridge.

At first you can't believe what you're seeing in front of you.

What is going on?

But the longer you look at it,

You realize truly there is a bridge of light right in front of me.

You start to notice that the weights on your shoulders become easy to take off.

You slowly take each one and throw them off the cliff.

You no longer need to be stuck in this moment.

You decide to take a leap of faith and step out on this bridge of light.

Holding onto the rail,

You take your first step on.

You take your next step and you continue to walk until you're in the middle of this bridge.

You look back.

You notice that you can see the cliff dropping down all of those weights at the very bottom.

But now you can start to look up and also see the sun parting through the clouds.

You feel a sense of hope and understanding that there is a cliff below you,

That things are challenging right now,

But also that there is light.

You have support around you.

You have the ability to move forward now.

You can release those weights and you can see that there is something greater in the future.

Often when we feel stuck,

We lose sight of creativity.

We know that there's some sunshine ahead of us,

But it feels like it's so far away and we don't know how to focus on it when there's so much weighing us down.

As we slowly remove each of those weights and allow them to go basically into the abyss,

We start to take steps forward into faith and hope that whatever's going to come next is going to support us,

Take care of us,

Provide that bridge to the other side of how life could be.

And as we take those steps forward,

We start to see the sun part the clouds and we truly experience the sunshine on a cloudy day.

You are supported.

That bridge is truly there.

Each step that you continue to take on the bridge to the other side is actually happening in this moment.

You are releasing the weights and the stress that have continued to hold you down.

Grief is stored in our bodies and as we shift that energy and allow it to no longer create a sense of suffering,

We start to allow it to flow in us,

Developing this bridge in front of us,

Helping us to grow.

Continue to walk across the bridge.

Find yourself on the other side,

But take a moment to look back.

See where you were.

Know that that cliff was there.

See that that bridge provided you a way to still experience the darkness of what was below you and also the light of what is in front of you.

We need to learn how to coexist with both and not run from the darkness or be scared of the light in front of us.

The bridges we create in our life help us on that journey of experiencing both sides.

I want you to take one more deep breath in,

One big breath out through your mouth and know that you will always have sunshine on a cloudy day.

When you're ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bring yourself back into your mind in the present moment.

Open your eyes and remind yourself there's always sunshine on a cloudy day.
