This is a nervous system regulation meditation.

This meditation is going to help you connect your mind and your body.

This meditation is also going to support you in regulating your body,

Connecting with your breath and gaining control back over your mind and your body and your life.

What happens is when stress takes over our life,

Life begins to control us instead of us having control over our life and by regulating our nervous system,

We take small steps in feeling more in control of our life.

So what I want you to do first is find a comfortable place to relax.

I recommend listening to this before bed or during a peaceful moment throughout your day where you're not distracted and you can be fully present with yourself.

And I want you to sit on your sit bones or laying down comfortably and I want you to start by just connecting with your body,

Feel the sensations of what it feels like getting more relaxed and present in your body and taking deep breaths through the nose and out through the mouth and feel how good it feels to inhale peace and exhale stress.

Another big,

Deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth and I want you to visualize a healing bubble of light at the bottom of your feet and we're going to do a full body scan while also being intentional with our breath.

You can create a really good rhythm with breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth or you can really take those deep inhales when you feel your body needs more regulation.

So I want you to go back to that visualization of the healing bubble of golden light and it's going to move up your feet,

Through your ankles,

Through your legs to your knees,

Through your quads up to your hips,

Up through your belly and I want you to take a big,

Deep breath in here with intention,

Big,

Deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

The light is going to go through your heart center,

Up through the top of your head and the bubble becomes a cocoon and you are engulfed in a healing bubble of golden light.

Take a big,

Deep breath in here and allow yourself to sit here for a moment,

Knowing that your body is at peace,

It is regulating,

You're giving yourself time through the stress of every day,

Your nervous system can be activated,

The stress,

Your emotions can be going up and down,

Life weighing heavy on you but right now in this moment,

All you have is right now and your body feels safe and at peace,

Connected and I want you to thank yourself because you gave that to yourself.

Just hang here for a moment,

Wiggle your fingers,

Take one last big,

Deep breath in here through the nose and out through the mouth and I want you to begin to stretch your body.

When we stretch our muscles,

We're letting our body know that it's safe to relax and start to release any of that tension that has been built up through emotional stress and our nervous system begins to regulate.

Deep breath in here through the nose and out through the mouth and if you need to continue this exercise,

You can put on some healing music,

Some healing frequencies,

Some peaceful sounds and continue breathing,

Continue stretching and you could also journal about what came up for you,

Any emotions,

Hold space for yourself,

You are your greatest investment.
