Welcome to the Women's Meditation Network with your host,

Katie Kramitzos.

You're feeling the economic impact.

Maybe you've been told to work from home.

Maybe your kids are home from school and the way that you work is forced to change.

Perhaps your industry is on a complete lockdown.

Maybe sales have dried up or perhaps your travel,

Your events,

Or all of your professional plans have come to a halt.

Or maybe your work has gone into hyperdrive and you're figuring out how to keep up with it all.

You're worried.

You're scared.

Things are changing so fast and the future is unknown.

So the intention of today's meditation is to help you find calm inside the whirlwind of change happening around you right now.

So you can let go of the fear and the anxiety and deal with what is with a clear and connected mind and heart.

So go ahead and get into a comfortable position.

Close your eyes and take a deep cleansing breath in,

Filling your belly all the way with air and breathe it all out.

Notice your heart beating inside your chest.

Take a moment to focus on it and find its rhythm.

Notice how fast it's beating and notice that the rhythm of your breath naturally wants to help you slow it down.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

There is so much unknown for you right now.

So much seems to be in chaos around you and your normal cadence of life is changing.

But you are resilient and can adapt to anything.

And the way you do that is to take one tiny moment at a time.

One decision at a time.

One day at a time.

So take a moment to think about all the what-ifs,

All of the unknowns,

All of the worries and fears.

See them come up in your mind like scenes on a movie screen.

Each one flashing for a second and then fading out.

Flashing and fading out.

As you watch the movie of scenes depicting the unknown,

Turn around and notice yourself in the audience,

An observer of all of these scenes.

Separate from the movie screen.

Separate from the scenes.

This is you,

The observer.

And you are ultimately the one in charge of what is playing on the movie screen.

And while you may not have any control over all of the events happening around you,

You can control what you're looking at in front of you.

So take a deep breath in,

Filling your belly and feeling the oxygen lighten your body.

And exhale all the way out.

Take a moment to think about the facts of your situation right now.

Watch these facts as they become images on your movie screen.

If any thoughts or emotions come up as a result,

Like fear or stress or frustration,

Just notice the emotion and let it go as you breathe out.

Continue to see the facts of your situation in front of you on the movie screen.

And when you're seen as complete and you've breathed out all of the emotion that came up,

Watch yourself as the observer,

Closing your eyes in peace and hear yourself silently say,

I accept what is.

Feel the calm wash over you as you hear those words.

I accept what is.

I accept what is.

And now with this sense of calm,

Look up again at your movie screen,

At the facts of your situation visible in front of you and ask yourself,

How do I want to show up for this?

How can I approach this with love,

Compassion,

And trust?

What solutions or ideas might I discover inside this place of calmness?

And simply be with these questions for a few minutes.

How do I want to show up for this?

How can I approach this with love,

Compassion,

And trust?

What solutions or ideas might I discover inside this place of calmness?

How do I want to show up for this?

How do I want to show up for this?

How do I want to show up for this?

Now bring your attention back to your breathing,

Feeling the cool air on your nose as you breathe in and the warm air on your nose as you breathe out.

This is a space of possibility.

This calming,

Grounded space is where you can come to make decisions that are best for you and your family.

And this is where you will connect with the strength inside of you to calmly and clearly deal with the facts in front of you.

Namaste beautiful.
