Slow yourself down and let your body melt.
Follow your breath inside.
Ease into comfort and feel your breath flow in and out,
In and out.
Lower your shoulders,
Relax your face,
And feel your belly grow soft.
Feel your back melt all the way down your spine,
And feel your legs go heavy.
Breathe slowly and surely,
Bringing your attention right here.
Deeply and consciously,
Your breath guides you home.
Can you give yourself some grace and space from all that's unsettled in you?
Can you give others some grace and space so they can sift through their truth?
When all of the noise and all of the chaos surround us,
It's hard to be clear.
So step back a bit,
No need to react,
And let's simply see what's here.
Why did those tears come?
Why did anger rise?
What triggered your ego to react?
Perhaps it's worth giving some space and some grace so you can understand the impact.
When emotions fill us,
And our actions place us somewhere that doesn't feel good,
We don't have to numb or even know the answers,
We just need to stop and look.
Open up more space and fill it with grace.
You can trust what you hear.
