Use this brief meditation to incorporate mindfulness into your day. If you've been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, sad, or apathetic – this is for you to experience a reset through your breath. This is a moment of pause to re-center and re-enter your day with a new perspective.

Welcome.

Thank you for taking the next few minutes to care for yourself.

Let yourself settle in by gently closing your eyes and making any necessary movements or adjustments so that your body feels at ease.

On your next inhale,

Gather your breath,

Inhaling through the nose,

Allowing your breath to fill your belly and lower back.

Pause here for a moment.

Let your breath feel suspended in your body.

And now,

Gradually,

Slowly,

Exhale with a long and gentle sigh.

This is a reset.

Whether you had been feeling anxious,

Overwhelmed,

Sad,

Apathetic,

Or checked out,

You are here now.

You are in this present moment of pause.

As you follow the natural cadence of your inhale and exhale,

Notice how wise your breath is.

How your body knows how to calm itself and calm your mind.

Trust your intuition.

You already know how to let your calming breath bring about a healing interruption.

Let your breath cleanse.

Each inhale invites clean air.

Each exhale releases what's no longer serving you.

Your inhale sends light and energy to every cell.

Your exhale dissipates tension and stagnant energy.

Breathe.

Let the wisdom of your breath and body guide you,

Letting go of any thoughts or judgments.

This is a reset.

This is an invitation to bring relief and to awaken feeling lighter,

Energized,

And grateful.

Now,

Invite any movement or necessary adjustments so that your body begins to feel more alert.

Slowly open your eyes and bring with you the awareness that you have the ability to reset and recharge any moment throughout the day.
