This is a loving kindness meditation.

It's especially great to do before an event.

I like doing it before an event that makes me anxious,

Such as before a job interview or before going to a party.

It's an opportunity to send blessings to yourself and the other people involved in the event.

To get started,

Find your starting position.

This could be standing.

Often I'm standing if I'm doing this right outside of an event,

Or you can also be seated.

Option to have your hands at heart center or in your lap,

Or any other mudra or hand position that you like.

To start,

Take a deep inhale through your nose.

Open up,

Exhale,

Sigh it out.

Blink your eyes closed if you're in a safe space to do that.

We'll start by sending blessings to ourselves.

That blessing is,

May I be happy,

May I be healthy,

May I be safe,

May I live with ease.

Again,

It's may I be happy,

May I be healthy,

May I be safe,

May I live with ease.

Repeat that in your mind or out loud.

Send this blessing to every cell in your body.

Send this blessing to your auric field.

Bring your set to a close.

We'll shift this phrase slightly to send it to others.

Send it to the people involved in the event that you're going to.

Could be people who are interviewing you,

Or people who will be at a party.

If you don't have or you don't know the exact people,

Just keep the idea of them in mind.

The phrase is,

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

Again,

It's may you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

Repeat that in your mind or out loud.

Send blessings to those involved in the event you're going to.

Slowly bring that set to a close.

We'll go back to what we started with,

Sending blessings to ourselves.

Repeat out loud or in your head,

May I be happy,

May I be healthy,

May I be safe,

May I live with ease.

May I be happy,

May I be healthy,

May I be safe,

May I live with ease.

Bring that set to a close.

Take a deep inhale through your nose.

Exhale through your nose.

Open up,

Exhale.

Luxuriate in the feeling of blessing,

Of being blessed.

Know that the universe has your back.

Things will work out the way that they're supposed to.

I hope you have a lovely event with whatever you're doing.

I'm sending you all the kind thoughts.

Namaste.
