Antar Mouna meditation or Inner Silence meditation is a powerful practice that guides through all of your senses connecting to your body and this present moment. When we are truly present in each moment, we release fear, anxiety, and connect to our own inner peace. I dearly hope this practice serves you and welcome your comments or suggestions. With love, Kate.

Hello and thank you for clicking on this recording.

I'd love for you to make yourself really comfortable either sitting or lying down,

Letting your eyes softly close or just glancing towards the earth and slowly becoming aware of the cycle of breath flowing through you,

Feeling the inhales and the exhales and letting the breath flow effortlessly.

We'll slowly guide our awareness towards the sounds that are around you now,

Seeing if you can pick up on the sounds that are furthest away from you,

Outside of the room or the building that you're in and allow your awareness to rest on those sounds without thinking about them.

And letting these sounds fade a little bit into the background of your awareness,

Seeing if you can pick up on sounds closer to you,

Maybe within the room or the building that you're in.

And we choose just to hear the sounds without engaging our thoughts,

Without even trying to understand where these sounds are coming from.

And then we let these sounds fade into the background.

We see if we can perceive sounds that are really close to us,

Sounds coming from your own body.

Maybe you could even pick up on the sound of your breath.

And we let these sounds fade into the background.

We bring our awareness towards the nose.

And I'd like for you to explore the different aromas,

Odours that might be there for you now,

Becoming more in tune with your sense of smell.

And letting the awareness of your sense of smell fade into the background.

We come into the mouth.

And as you explore the taste buds with your awareness,

Seeing if you can pick up on different flavours,

Different tastes that may be there.

And then letting this fade bringing your awareness up to your eyes.

Noticing if you can pick up on any colours,

Shapes,

Movement beneath the eyelids,

Allowing your eyes to stay quite relaxed.

Noticing the sense of sight and what's possible to pick up on.

And then we let this fade into the background.

We'll bring our awareness towards our sense of touch.

Feeling the parts of your body now that are in contact with the earth.

Noticing where you can feel the air on your skin.

Feeling the weight and the texture of the clothes on your body.

Feeling the lips touching.

Feeling the cool inhale flowing into your body through the nose.

Feeling the warm exhale leaving the body.

And slowly bring all of your awareness towards your breath.

Feeling it flow in its own perfect rhythm.

You could stay with this awareness for as long as you like.

When you feel ready to come out,

Gently deepen your breath,

Take a full breath in and a long breath out.

Slowly begin to open your eyes,

Coming back into your room.

Thank you so much for joining me.
