Hello and welcome.

If you're midlife,

Running your own business or balancing work and life in these busy,

Sometimes overwhelming days,

This short practice is for you.

Maybe it's midday and you're feeling tired or behind.

Maybe your thoughts are racing or your energy has dipped.

That's completely normal and it doesn't mean you're failing.

This is your moment to pause,

Breathe and reset.

A few minutes can help you regain focus,

Calm and clarity before you move forward.

You can return to this track anytime you need a quick reset.

Use it as often as you like.

Let's begin by gently noticing where you are right now.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in and let it out.

Notice any tension in your shoulders,

Jaw or chest and allow it to soften as you exhale.

This practice is about taking a pause in your day,

Not changing everything at once,

Just giving yourself permission to reset.

As a midlife entrepreneur,

I know how it feels to have deadlines,

Clients and tasks piling up while your energy dips or your mind feels foggy.

I've been there.

Showing up for training sessions,

Membership calls and videos while barely keeping it together myself.

What helped me most was learning to check in with my energy,

Pause when needed and choose the next kind step.

The one thing I could realistically do that would move me forward without draining me further.

You can do the same.

Even small actions taken intentionally create clarity and confidence.

I remember in my late 40s I was struggling with migraines,

Poor sleep and low confidence.

I had to show up constantly for my business and I felt like I was losing myself.

Tasks slipped,

Deadlines were tight and I felt exhausted but I couldn't let anyone see how I felt.

Over time I learned that small practical changes made a big difference.

I shifted meetings to the afternoons,

Recorded when I had energy,

Used short bursts of focused work and added small resets like stepping outside at lunchtime,

Taking a few deep breaths or simply checking in with myself before starting the next task.

These moments of pause didn't just help my productivity,

They reminded me I was still capable,

Creative and in control.

Let's do that together now.

Close your eyes,

Take a slow deep breath in and out.

Notice your body in the chair,

Your feet on the floor.

Allow your shoulders to soften.

Take another breath,

Feeling your chest rise and fall.

Gently ask yourself,

How am I feeling right now?

What can I realistically do next that will help me feel steady and capable?

Notice if your mind is scattered or if your energy is low.

That's okay.

Now I want you to choose your next kind step.

Pick one small achievable action,

One email,

One short task,

A quick stretch or even stepping outside for a few minutes.

Focus on that single step.

Letting go of everything else for now.

If it feels good,

Roll your shoulders,

Stretch your arms or stand and walk for a moment.

Allow your body to move gently and release tension.

Silently or out loud if you like,

Repeat.

I am capable.

I am in control.

I can move forward with clarity.

Let these words settle,

Knowing that even small resets matter.

Take one final slow breath in and let it out fully.

As you return to your day,

Carry this calm and clarity with you.

Remember,

You don't have to do everything at once.

Small,

Intentional steps create focus,

Confidence and balance.

You can repeat this reset anytime you feel overwhelmed.

It's your pause,

Your moment,

Your reset.

Take one more gentle breath and when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes or return to your work.

Feeling steadier,

Clearer and in control.
