Welcome to this practice where we'll connect to the vibration of your truth.

Not just what you believe,

But what it feels like to be aligned with it in your body.

This is a voice and somatic activation to help you speak from your center.

Let's take this time to reconnect with something that often gets buried under roles,

Expectation,

Or fear.

Your truth.

Not just the ideas in your head,

But the words that want to come through your body and be spoken,

Expressed,

And lived.

Find a comfortable position,

Letting your shoulders drop,

Unclenching your jaw.

Let yourself land here.

And take a breath in through your nose,

Filling up through the belly and through the chest.

And let it go through your mouth and release.

And again,

In and out,

Feeling your body arriving in this moment.

Take one more deep,

Purifying breath as we tune into the wisdom of your body in connection with your breath.

The center of your voice.

Maybe place a hand there.

Gently notice what lives there.

Tension,

Tightness,

Openness,

Fear.

Now bring your awareness to your chest,

The space where emotion often lives,

Where truth sometimes gets stuck.

Maybe placing a hand there and noticing what you feel,

What craves sound,

Movement,

And vibration.

Sometimes we silence ourselves because it feels safer.

But this moment is different.

Here,

We create safety for truth to move,

To rise,

To be expressed.

So breathe into your chest and into your throat.

Let your inhale connect these two places and let your exhale soften them.

Now take a breath in and as you exhale,

Gently hum,

A soft hum.

No pressure,

No perfection,

Just you.

Let's do that again.

Inhale up through the belly and the chest and hum.

Let the vibration buzz through your lips,

Your throat,

Your heart.

Feel the sound coming from within.

This is your voice.

Not the one you were taught to perform with,

But the one that tells the truth.

Now take a pause.

Sit in the silence that follows your sound.

Notice how your body feels.

You've stirred something awake.

If you were to speak from this place,

Not to impress,

Not to prove,

But simply to express the deepest knowing inside of you,

What might your voice say?

You don't need to say it out loud,

But you can if it feels right.

Even a whisper or a single word.

Now imagine this truth as a color.

What color is the sound of your truth?

And as you breathe,

Let that color expand from your throat to your chest.

Let it wrap around your shoulders,

Down your spine.

Let it ripple out through your voice.

This is your resonance.

Not the voice that pleases others.

Not the voice that avoids conflict.

But the voice that rises from your bones,

Your center,

Your soul.

You are safe to sound like you.

Let's anchor this with one final hum.

Soft.

Slow and sacred.

Inhale.

And hum.

Placing one hand over your throat and one hand over your chest.

Feel how the energetic pathway of these two places in the body have come into communion with each other.

Instead of being sworn enemies,

They have found kinship.

A safe place to connect.

A warmth and a loving trust with each other.

When the emotions rise in the chest,

Come back to the hum of your voice.

Let the vibration settle you.

Let it expand you.

Let it give you permission to speak.

And as you begin to return back to your body,

Know this.

Your truth doesn't have to be loud.

It just has to be real.

You don't have to know all the answers.

You just have to stay connected to what's true for you.

When you're ready,

Bring some gentle movement back into your fingers.

Roll out your shoulders.

And open your eyes.

Let your voice carry this truth with you into the rest of your day.
