Hello,
This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation.
In today's meditation we are going to connect to choosing miracles over grievance.
In every situation we always have a choice.
Let's get comfortable and close your eyes very gently,
Finding comfort in your space.
Let's take a deep breath in and release it.
Let it go.
Release all that tension,
All the stressors.
Let's take another deep breath in through our nose and release.
Let's bring some awareness to our body.
How are we feeling right at this moment?
Are there any blockages or constrictions in your space,
In your heart,
In your body,
In your soul?
What are you feeling right now?
Connect to your body and to your heart.
Release all tension and all stressors.
Let's become aware of our brow area.
Let's relax it right now.
Making sure that our eyes are gently closed and not straining.
That our mouth is relaxed.
That our shoulders are relaxed away from our ears.
Feeling complete relaxation in your space.
Let's take another deep breath in and release it.
Your body should be a little bit more relaxed.
Your mind should be slowing down just a little bit.
There is an old Native American parable called The Story of Two Wolves.
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.
He begins,
A fight is going on inside of me,
He said to the boy.
It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
One is evil,
He is anger,
Envy,
Sorrow,
Regret,
Greed,
Arrogance,
Self-pity,
Guilt,
Resentment,
Lies,
Falls pride,
And ego.
He continued,
The other is good,
He is joy,
Peace,
Love,
Hope,
Serenity,
Humility,
Kindness,
Empathy,
Generosity,
Truth,
Compassion,
And faith.
The same fight is going on inside of you and inside every other person too.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
Which wolf will win?
The old Cherokee simply replied,
The one you feed.
Take a moment to allow the meaning of this story to settle in.
Now bring your awareness to a difficult situation that is in your life right now.
Come clear with a situation that is causing you agreements.
Unless choose miracle,
Ask yourself,
How can I incorporate peace in my situation?
How can I invoke compassion,
Kindness,
And love?
How can I choose miracle?
How can I invoke compassion,
Kindness,
And love?
What does your heart desire in this situation?
How can you feed the wolf that inspires hope,
Truth,
Humility?
How can you feed the wolf that inspires hope,
Truth,
Humility?
Let's open our heart to all aspects of miracles.
Filling your heart with infinite possibilities,
Filled with love,
Happiness,
And positive energies by asking,
What can I be grateful for in this situation?
You can take it a little deeper by asking,
Why am I grateful?
Now,
Let's take it a little bit deeper by using the mantra,
Om Shanti Shanti.
Om is the universal hymn of the universe.
Shanti is peace.
We're going to repeat this mantra for a few moments to infuse our heart with miracles,
With feeding the right wolf.
If at any time you have any physical sensation,
Not thoughts or noises come into your space,
It's okay.
Gently go back to Om Shanti Shanti.
Om Shanti Shanti.
Om Shanti Shanti.
Om Shanti Shanti.
Om Shanti Shanti.
Om Shanti Shanti.
Peace.
Miracles.
Love.
Hope.
Truth.
Kindness.
Compassion.
Love.
Om Shanti Shanti.
Om Shanti Shanti.
In life,
We have a choice.
A choice between grievance or miracle in every situation.
Which wolf will you feed today?
Let the silence and stillness rest within you for a few moments.
We're going to seal this meditation of miracles,
Of choosing peace,
Love,
And peace.
Love.
Compassion.
Kindness.
By chanting Om together.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
Ahhhhhh.
Now let's place our hands together to our heart center and say Namaste.
I honor the divine light in you that is also in me.
And when you're in that space,
And I'm in that space,
We are one.
Namaste.
You can gently open your eyes when you're ready.
Look around you.
You shared this moment with this meditation.
This space that is perfect,
Filled with miracles,
With love,
With compassion.
This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation,
Sending you love and light.
Namaste.
