I invite you to lie down in Shavasana on your yoga mat,

On the carpet.

You can also do this in your bed.

Just make sure you're in a comfortable position with your arms beside you with your palms facing upward.

Having a blanket over you,

Having your head supported.

Whatever you need,

Just have it next to you.

Today we're doing the Inner Child Healing Meditation.

This is by far the most powerful healing meditation out there.

It requires you to look into the past,

Into memories of childhood and connect with your inner child.

Within each one of us we have an inner child that has all the different ages from the day you could hear in the womb from when you were born to actually when you were five years old to 10,

Even 15,

20 to this day,

However old you might be at any age,

At any point from childhood.

This inner child is there for you to look deeply,

For you to look within into memories and experiences from childhood that have caused pain,

Hurt,

That have caused discomfort,

That has caused minor or major trauma and to be able to heal those parts of you,

To be able to really allow yourself,

Give yourself the permission to forgive others and forgive yourself to hold space for that inner child,

To re-parent that inner child if your parents weren't there for you the way you needed them to be.

Let's begin,

Close your eyes,

Take a long deep breath in filling up your belly,

Your lungs and your chest and exhale from your mouth.

Take another long deep breath in filling up your belly,

Your lungs and your chest and exhale from your mouth.

Just let everything go,

Let everything be.

Take another long deep breath in filling up your belly,

Your lungs and your chest slow and steady and exhale when you're ready.

Beautiful.

Take a moment here to connect to your heart bringing awareness to your whole body,

Bringing awareness to your thoughts,

To the sensations and emotions and just become aware of all that is present right now.

Relaxing your body.

Take a moment to connect to your inner child any memory,

Any emotion that's coming up from childhood.

Maybe it's something before you could even remember it and a memory is coming up from when you were three or maybe when you were five,

Any age till now.

Use this memory as this inner child shows up.

I want you to go closer to your inner child and take a seat next to your inner child,

Looking at them,

Sitting next to them,

Looking straight into their eyes,

Looking straight into their heart and soul.

Look there next to them and ask your inner child what do they need?

Maybe something has happened.

Someone has said something.

Maybe whatever that has happened,

Allow them to express,

Do not hold back.

Ask them to tell you what has happened.

Maybe they are holding space for your inner child.

After your inner child tells you what has happened,

Just be there for them and ask them what do you need?

What did you need in that moment?

What do you need right now?

Maybe all they want is to be seen,

To be heard,

To be loved.

Maybe they want to hear that they're loved,

That they're enough,

That they're worthy and deserving.

Maybe they want to be held.

Maybe they need a hug,

A kiss,

Warm comfort.

Ask them what they need and then very slowly and gently offer them from your highest self sitting next to this inner child that is hurt,

That is in pain,

That has been mistreated.

As you watch your inner child from everything you know,

From everything you have experienced,

From all the knowledge,

Alignment and wisdom you have now from your highest self,

What can you say?

What can you do?

Maybe it's as simple as sitting next to them,

Holding their hand.

Maybe it's saying loving kind things.

Whatever it is,

Allow your intuition,

Allow the inner power,

Your inner wisdom to guide you.

Beautiful.

And now slowly start to say goodbye to your inner child.

Tell them what they need to hear.

Say your goodbye.

Whenever you're ready,

You can slowly begin to move your body and come back into the present moment here in the now.

Wiggling your toes,

Your fingers,

Moving your hips,

Your spine.

Just slow and gentle and roll on to the left side of your body,

Giving yourself a big tight hug.

When you're ready,

You can open up your eyes slow and gentle.

You can write in your journal.

If any emotions are coming up,

Just allow for tears.

Maybe there's laughter,

Maybe there is.

There are different emotions rising.

Give yourself enough time to be with that inner child.
