Self-forgiveness can feel big. It can feel icky. It can feel uncomfortable. But forgiveness doesn't justify the behavior and therefore you'll go and make the same mistakes again... no. Self-forgiveness acknowledges the mistake and allows you to learn, grow & evolve so that you feel more worthy of high-vibration experiences, and hence have a better experience of life. The breathwork is a modified practice of Rebirthing Breathwork which is conscious connected breathing through your nose, created by Leonard Orr. What you experience in sessions like this is just a taster of what you experience in full sessions of breathwork.

Let's begin by taking a long deep breath in through your nose and open mouth let it go sigh it out.

Hello and welcome my name is Kareena Khalila and I am here to support you in creating a deeper connection to yourself and to life through the power of your breath.

This is a rebirthing breathwork meditation for self-forgiveness.

I will start by saying that self-forgiveness is something that's really personal and can only really happen when we're when we're really ready to let go of old structures of old ways of being and give ourselves permission to step into something new and that can be really hard.

I had a teacher a long time ago who shared with me we can begin to forgive by choosing to forgive just 1% and I really like that especially when if you're anything like me you have been somebody who was really hard on yourself or someone who is your own biggest critic then forgiveness practices can sometimes be really hard or really challenging but if you've come here and you've come this far there's probably something here for you and perhaps you are ready to forgive yourself that 1% and begin to heal your relationship with yourself and perhaps you have arrived at this meditation ready to forgive yourself 100% and if that's you then I fully support that.

When you choose to forgive yourself it is full self liberation.

You're no longer coming from a place of guilt or fear you are now coming from a place of full love and acceptance of yourself.

So when we're on the journey of forgiveness we must remember that forgiveness doesn't give permission for bad behavior.

It doesn't give permission for us to do the things that we were doing that were in inverted commas bad.

What it does is it liberates us from guilting ourself into being a particular way and it actually gives us or empowers us to begin to set boundaries with ourself and with others so that we don't continue doing that in inverted commas behavior that's bad.

I like to think about all behavior as being a protection mechanism in some way and so if there is something that you're feeling you need to forgive in yourself perhaps you can first look at how this behavior pattern has kept you safe in the past.

So you may actually like to pause this meditation here and journal about that.

How has XYZ behavior created a sense of safety for me?

You might also like to take to your journal with what are you ready to forgive?

What specific actions and behaviors are you ready to forgive in yourself?

Are you ready to make peace with within yourself?

I invite you to pause the meditation here and go and write those down.

We're going to be meditating today with rebirthing breathwork.

Rebirthing breathwork is conscious connected breathing through your nose.

It is a deeply transformational style of breath that assists people in remembering the truth of who they really are.

What you'll be experiencing in today's meditation is a modified practice of rebirthing breathwork where we'll pause,

You'll get to feel.

A normal breathwork practice is actually an hour long so you're getting to experience how just 15 minutes of breathing can shift how you've been feeling.

I'm going to invite you to begin by finding a comfortable seat or by lying down and we'll start by taking a long deep breath in through your nose.

Open mouth,

Let it go,

Sigh it out.

Repeat these words after me.

I choose to know that it is safe for me to fully forgive myself.

I choose to know that it is safe for me to fully forgive myself.

I choose to know that it is safe for me to fully forgive myself.

Let's take another deep breath into that and let go,

Sigh it out.

I invite you now to breathe in through your nose,

Start slow and then breathing out through your nose,

Let it go.

Breathing in through your nose,

Breathing out through your nose,

Breathing in through your nose,

Breathing out through your nose,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go.

We'll pause there just for a moment before we begin.

So with rebirthing breathwork we connect the breath out to the breath in and the breath in to the breath out,

Breathing in and out through your nose.

So let's do 20 rounds of breath for this first round.

When you're ready,

Breathing in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go.

Take 10 more breaths on your own.

On your next breath in,

Breathe in and hold,

Hold for three,

Two,

One,

Open your mouth,

Let it go,

Sigh it out.

And as you hold the breath out,

I invite you to connect to the center of your being.

Connect to the pulsations of your heart as it beats in your chest.

Connect to the subtle pulsations of the energy as it moves through your body.

Take a long deep breath in through your nose,

Open mouth,

Let it go,

Sigh it out.

And we'll begin for second round,

Breathing in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go.

Take 10 more breaths on your own.

On your next breath in,

Breathe in and hold,

Hold for three,

Two,

One,

Open your mouth,

Let it go,

Sigh it out.

And as you hold your breath out,

I invite you once again to tune into the energy of your body.

Feel your heart as it pulsates in your chest.

Feel the tingles that hover beneath your skin.

I invite you now to connect with the part of yourself that you are ready to forgive.

As though you are speaking to that part,

That younger self,

Can repeat after me using the Ho'oponopono practice.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

You might like to repeat that a few more times inwardly to yourself.

Remember you deserve your own forgiveness.

Preparing now for the third and final round.

When you're ready,

Breathing in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go,

Breathe in,

Let go.

Take ten more breaths on your own.

On your next breath in,

Breathe in and hold.

Hold for three,

Two,

One.

Open your mouth,

Let it go,

Sigh it out.

And in the stillness you might begin to notice what is shifting and moving within you.

Take another deep breath in through your nose.

Let it go out through your mouth.

Repeating these words once again.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

And reminding yourself once again,

I choose to know that it is safe for me to forgive myself.

I invite you to repeat that a few times inwardly to yourself.

I invite you to wrap your arms around your body as though you're giving yourself a hug.

Tuck your chin to your chest and just give yourself a little squeeze of appreciation,

Of love,

Of presence.

Together take a deep breath in.

Open mouth,

Let it go,

Sigh it out.

You might like to release yourself from the hug.

Begin to bring some movement to your body,

Wiggling your hands,

Your fingers,

Your toes.

You might like to open your eyes and take a look around the room.

Thank you for meditating and breathing with me today.

Thank you so much for this, it was exactly what I needed in this moment. I'm also quite strict and severe with myself, thank you for sharing this of yourself, it made it more human to me. You helped me stop and reflect deeper on my path and the combination with writing in my diary, really helped shining light on this and felt I'm letting it go now. Thank you 💕 many blessings to your soul💕

what a lovely practice filled with opportunities for inner journeying, spiritual transmission, and reparenting. I really enjoyed the ho’oponopono implementation redirected toward the self. it sealed the meditation for me. grateful for this practice 😌🙏🏾.

Phenomenal. I've been looking for a breathwork + forgiveness meditation combo for quite some time.
